Always good food with good service. Very consistent. The spring rolls are excellent!

Shrimp curry is consistently good. New dish pan fried rice noodles is excellent. Of course the phở, whatever kind you get is totally awesome. Best restaurant on the island.

We enjoyed lunch at Island Phở. The menu doesn’t have typical Vietnamese items listing Phở and Bun, and each meal was fairly pricey,(they don’t have a cheaper menu for lunch). My husband had the chicken curry dish, with rice and I had the pork and vermicelli noodles(a typical Bun dish). The food was good, the table was nicely set and service was friendly. The reason we gave it 3 stars was because they charged $ 4.95 for lemonade, and we felt the pricing for lunch was too expensive. Our bill(before tip) came to almost $ 35 with two meals, one lemonade and one water bottle.

We just moved within walking distance of a number of restaurants, including Island Phở so we thought we’d try it. The service and food was great, but we waited for almost an hour for our food. I so want to love this place but waiting that long for Asian food is unheard of. I may get over this one experience and go back.

My family loves Island Phở. The restaurant has lots of natural light and the décor is soothing. The food here tastes so good, I would think it came out of my friend Jem’s kitchen made with the spices she brings back fresh from Vietnam every few months.

By far, the best Phở I’ve ever had! Vegetable Phở might sound misleading. It’s actually got the freshet vegetables and most complex flavors you’ll have! Highly recommend!!!

With my favorite Vietnamese place only open for lunch in Brunswick and not making it in time I was overjoyed to find Island Phở on St Simons. I had spring rolls and the pork and vermicelli which were great. Mostly Vietnamese clientele which raised my hopes and I was not disappointed. Great staff and great prices will be back this week while here. The food is fresh and easy on the wallet.

My daughter loves her coconut water. The coconut water was much better than any canned coconut water, very sweet tasting. I am both surprised and ecstatic to find a new favorite place to visit when nearby. The Island Chicken Cabbage Salad is as other reviewers said… a must have.

Who would’ve thought you would find amazing Vietnamese food in Georgia??? Well, it’s right here, so come get it! We ended up sharing the the island chicken and the combo chicken/shrimp teriyaki. The island chicken is salad-like with a base of super crunchy cabbage mixed with a bit of onion, carrots, cucumber and chicken tossed in a light, fresh, slightly spicy dressing. It was so delicious, we practically licked the plate clean. The teriyaki was as amazing, and loaded with protein. What’s great about this teriyaki sauce is that it isn’t super thick or too sweet; it has enough consistency to stick to the meat and veggies but doesn’t leave you feeling bloated and heavy. I’m crying knowing that I can’t have this food once I go back to Florida!

Yes… do yourself a favor and just eat here. One of the best restaurants on SSI and doesn’t get enough love. If you are sick, get a bowl of soup — you’ll be fine the next day ;) Wonton and Rare steak are our favorites. If you aren’t in the mood for noodles, ask for veggies instead — they’ll give you a heaping helping of broccoli, bok choy, carrots and tofu to replace it. Absolutely delicious!

I just moved back to SSI after being away for a year. I really missed the great food and service at Island Phở and was very happy to see they are doing awesome with their business and menu is still wonderful. Best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had on East Coast and the service is always exceptional.

Great phở. Great service and a welcome change of pace. Had the small serving bowl and it was plenty big enough for me. Egg rolls were great too. Definitely a great little place that we’ll visit again!

As a creature of routine, I tend to order something familiar when I eat at a new restaurant. For my first time at Island Phở, I ordered the Bun(Vermicelli Noodles w/Pork). I’ve had Bun at many different Vietnamese restaurants, and the Bun at Island Phở is the best I’ve had. Hands down. It’s not hard to make Bun decently, but the element that is often lacking is the quality of the meat. Many places include fresh vegetables, good fish sauce, and all the rest, but then give you some stringy leftover pork that is usually overcooked. Not here. The pork was juicy and appeared to be fairly choice cuts, and tasted like it may have been marinated for awhile before it was cooked. Delicious. The spring rolls were light and crispy and the filling was delicious and fresh. There was really no weak point other than that the food was a bit slow in coming, but given the result, I’d be happy to wait again. Everyone else in my party was pleased with their meals as well — included the Phở, Stir-fry, and some appetizers. Overall a great experience in a nice location.

The staff is super friendly! The lemongrass chicken is awesome but the Island Salad with chicken is one of the best Asian dishes I’ve ever eaten. I get all my dishes«spicy» and it’s not too hot. My kids love the chicken noodle phở so the whole family can go! Don’t miss this spot for lunch or dinner.

Best phở place in the area. A large combination phở runs about $ 10. Sprint rolls are good but on the smaller size. What separates this place from phở#1 and phở Saigon in Brunswick is definitely the setting of the place. It has legit tables and décor and a full kitchen and waiting staff. This place is very sanitary and clean. The phở is always consistent. My buddy always gets the fried noodles or the fried rice. Service is always fast, efficient and friendly. It’s legit phở and I’ve been eating phở my whole life. We frequent here atleast once a week to avoid chow hall.

I hate giving 5 stars — but I gotta! Four of us went there for dinner. Before we went we checked the Glynn County sanitation score — about 99, I think.(Incredibly high for an oriental restaurant, in our experience. Another oriental restaurant in the same physical proximity got a looooowww 70!) I had a small vegetable phở which was less than $ 10; others had yellow curry and pork with noodles. I tasted all and all were really good.(I was surprised how good quality the pork was.) The service was absolutely as good as it gets! Incredible! The meal cost less than $ 50 for four excellent dinners and one appetizer(no drinks other than water). Will we go back? You bet — just as soon as possible!

Had the phở with beef and meatballs and it was excellent. So was the Spring roll. Would recommend if you are looking for authentic phở dish in this area. Also loved the iced coffee as well.

What a great find! Island Phở was the perfect place for a cool Saturday afternoon. The phở was extremely flavorful in a «clean your bowl can’t let a single drop go to waste» kind of way. The kids split a plate of Chicken Teriyaki and loved it. They even ate the vegetables! The restaurant was quiet and nicely decorated and the wait staff was unobtrusive and genuinely concerned to see we had an enjoyable meal. A hair overpriced but not enough to say we won’t be back again soon.

Around noon on Saturday for lunch. Flank steak phở — We opted for the large bowl because we are ravenous eaters. It was a fairly large portion with lots of yummy noodles and meat. The broth was spectacular though and there is plenty of it to enjoy. Vermicelli salad noodles(#21) — I love bun rice noodles with the salad, egg roll and pork so this was an obvious choice for me. The dressing was a bit sour at first but if it is mixed in with the noodles, the flavor blends quite well. Service — The waiter/host was super nice so I don’t think anyone would have a problem with service here. Verdict — This is only 4 stars because it is a little pricier than most Vietnamese restaurants($ 10+ for entrees) but jt is the only Vietnamese option on SSI(that I know of) it is forgivable so I could see us coming here again.
