Tried them one more time and NO change. Still acting as a winery. how does a person advertise they are a winery when they are not a winery. if you want to be a winery MAKE your own wines.

Fun wine bar! Visited recently and was able to order food from a local pizza shop since they don’t serve food. Very«down home» atmosphere with great wine and craft beer selections. They had live acoustic music when we were there and everyone was so friendly. Can’t wait to go back on our next trip to Salado.

Went here during my 4 year anniversary and it was a great experience getting to try real wine for the first time, I love the town of Salado and can’t wait to go back and grab a couple more bottles, only place that has my favorite wine, a zinfandel port, plus they recently opened a craft beer place next door and is just as exceptional, taking friends next time that’s for sure

The best wine I’ve ever had. I live in Alaska and I fly all the way here, just to load up in wine to bring back home. Amazing atmosphere, delicious wine, great food and awesome customer service.

What a wonderful porch! Great place for wine tasting and can ride our bikes. People are so nice and prices so reasonable. We met a lit of great new friends and tried some obscure wines. Loved it!

They have a wonderful selection of wine and other items to make an evening special. I have never been fond of Texas Wine, but these folks have some good stuff on hand. I recommend this place to everyone who visits Salado.

5 tastings of our choice for $ 10 but we didn’t get the nice Salado Creek Winery glass shown in previous comments. We got a stemless Fiesta Winery glass which is alright but not what i expected. My husband and I tried different wines — that equaled 10 and couldn’t find anything worth drinking. Most of the wines, both red and white, were weak. Barely any legs and certainly no taste. The sparkling wine was worse than Kool-Aid! It was a busy week-end so I’ll give them a pass on providing us with Information on the wines, but really not a place I’d return to. There are several better wineries within an hour’s drive than this one.

Nice and relaxed. Our sommelier Katy was knowledgable and chatty, even with multiple customers. She let us know more about Salado, likely enticing us back this fall. Had a good time and we’ll be back!

What a wonderful place with excellent wines. Katie listened to our preferences and then picked some great wines that both of us liked. Not easy when I like sweet and he likes dry. Thanks for putting the wine we bought in the refrigerator so we could enjoy it that night at the B&B. We’ll be stopping by again to get the Lemon Wine.

What a pleasant surprise Salado Creek Winery turned out to be. The staff is so knowledgeable, edger to help and very friendly. They have a fantastic tasting room. Great prices; 3 tastes of wine for only $ 10.50, plus you get to keep the wine glass. They have something for everyone and we learned so much. The prefect end to an awesome girl’s day trip to Salado. Can’t wait to do it again!

I was thoroughly surprised by SCW after having tried so many small Texas wineries before. When you walk in, the mood is set just right. Dim lighting, a small private red room to the side, live acoustic guitar… nice. The wines: Trepidatious to say the least because of my past experiences with Texas wines. They offer 3 tastings for $ 10 that includes a lovely wine glass with their name etched in it. Quite the bargain if you’re in need of more wine glasses(I am not) or you can just do the 3 tastings for $ 5 and leave the glass behind(which is what I did). I cannot recall specifically what wines I sampled(Except I know one was the Chardonnay), but I actually kind of liked 2 of the 3 of them. Hmm… I guess I have to keep giving Texas wines a chance. I think the product will only get better in future years. That seems to be the trend. Actually bought a bottle of their Rancher’s Daughter Chardonnay because it was on sale for $ 6(no idea why), but with all other bottles ranging in price from ~$ 14 — $ 20+ I think I’ll pass… for now anyway. I wish them all the best!
