Friendly staff great food. Reasonable price. Even better when their website works so you can order in one click.

Subs were delicious! I popped a boner last time I had a grinder from there. It was 9.4÷10. Easily the best grinder north of Haverhill If you don’t like this place then you don’t know what good food tastes like and you should just go eat at McDonald’s

In the wake on King Cutlet closing after years of feeding the Salem townspeople, Big Daddy’s has taken over the job. With home made hand breaded veal and chicken cutlet subs, this place more than fills the void left. Get them however you want with onions, mushrooms, peppers and cheese, but if you’re forsaking the cutlets for something like pizza here, you’re off your rocker.

Oink Oink is all I can say. The food is always fresh, bread is different than others, doesn’t overpower the cutlet. Wings are the dings, good kind and the pizza is pretty good too Overall me and my two boys left dying… happy:)

Love this place! If you’re a big sourdough bread fan, this is the place to get a sub. Super soft and always fresh. Chicken cutlet and chicken finger both very good with or without sauce.

I decided to try this place after reading the reviews on the cutlets, sorry I did. Chicken cutlet was bland and tasted reheated. Sauce was very acidic. The roll was good.

Good cutlets but the bread gets soggy quickly, you get a bun of mush basically and the service is lacking in an quality and care. Owners are kind of ignorant and it definitely shows

Great friendly staff, delicious food, always a short wait! I order a customized wrap, and they have no problem with it. Grilled chicken, lettuce, tomatoe, American cheese on a wheat wrap. Always fresh & delicious!

A small chicken cutlet with cheese and sauce(call it what is, it’s chicken parmesan) and small order of wings. The chicken cutlet is good but the wings are small and fatty. $ 14.00 for these two small items? I’ll go back but it’s not my first choice.

Unlike Rick T. I’m not sure exactly where on the list-of-things-I-need-to-live the Cutlet Dinner belongs, but he is right — it does belong on the list. Very good cutlets and they deliver.

Big Daddy’s has redeemed itself with what I can only express as «The meal I would request on Death Row.» The chicken parm cutlet dinner served with a side salad and pasta is TODIEFOR. I had my first taste on Friday night. ABSOLUTEHEAVEN. When asked what are we eating Saturday for lunch, I requested the same meal and when dinnertime rolled around, yup, I ordered it again! You are reading this correctly… three meals in a row, same fantastic chicken parm dinner. The salad had just enough vinegar kick to make your mouth tweek. I wish it was larger! Now here we are on Monday night and I’m seriously thinking of getting it again. Don’t worry about my health, I’ve got pills to keep my cholesterol in check. For the normal person who is into normal size portions, this will be a two meal encounter for you. But for me, a side a fries too and I’m good to go. No leftover’s on my plate. I’m just wondering if I am conveying that this was the best meal ever? I really hope it’s coming across that way. I’m even gonna go as far as saying I’ll rank this as #2 on my list of required needs: 1.) air 2.) Big Daddy’s Chicken Cutlet dinner and 3.) Beer… you are reading that correctly. Big Daddy’s Chicken Cutlet dinner ranks over beer. Enough said. Order it up before I get there. No guarantee there will be any left. Now the bad news… CLOSEDONSUNDAYS. Easy solutions, order extra dinners on Saturday! Problem solved.

Great place. We just tired it the other day because USA subs closed in Salem and I wish we had tired them earlier. We had the subs, pork cutlet and a meatball. but we’ll try the pizza next.

In case anyone is wondering this IS the old King Cutlet! Same owner same great pork cutlet and chicken cutlet subs with the Fantini soft rolls. Just went and got an XL Italian Cutlet w cheese, sauce and mushroom. Absolutely delicious! I’m so happy to have King Cutlet from the depot back as Big Daddy’s Pizza.

Hilarious name, I give them 2 stars for the name alone. I did not order pizza because they were closed on thanksgiving.

Update: I stopped in for a steak sub and was not disappointed at all. The steak was tender and flavorful. Big Daddy’s is definitely my favorite for subs in the Salem, NH area.

Used to come here very frequently before they moved to this location. Food has not changed, same as when they were King Cutlet. Friday, almost exactly noon, few parking spaces. Tables are full, two in line before me … will I get table or order to go? Ordered cheeseburger sub and french fries to eat in. Just in time, a small table opened up and I grabbed it, sat down and waited. In a short time they brought my small order to my table. As I remembered, the sub(with tomatoes, lettuce, and bacon) was great. They still have the soft flat rolls, almost like just baked. Fries were perfect, over quarter inch thick, hot, crisp outside and soft firm inside. They were hot, not warmed over, and the serving size was more than I expected. A bit noisy and crowded, but easy to tune out with reading material. Would come more often, but location is not convenient for me. Inside needs an update, but overall cleanliness looked good. Easy to recommend you come on in, the food is always good, I have never had any complaints.

Best chicken cutlet sub in the area! … it was my first one ever(tried other places and just not to par) and I’m hooked! I get mine with cheese and mushrooms and sauce on the side. Also ordered cheese garlic read before and Bigtime Yum! Also tried chipotle chicken sub and that was good, and just ordered the steak bomb… hold the peppers and add pickles … and omg, best steak bomb! The sub roll just makes it even more of The sub … Best subs around! Love how it’s your simple sub and pizza shop and no commercialized or dressed up place! So happy we found this place earlier than later! How could we have missed out on their subs for this long?!

Very pleasantly surprised! Order takeout delivery this past week from Big Daddy’s. I heard some good things about the cutlet’s so that’s all I wanted. We got a chicken cutlet platter which came with salad, fries or pasta. We got the pasta and the sauce was really fresh and bright tasting. The cutlets were really good. Thin, crispy, and seasoned well. The salad was fresh and not over dressed. The pasta was penne, and not mushy. They also have Italian cutlets too, which are pork cutlets. I will have to try those next. Delivery took longer than expected, 45 minutes, and we live local.

As I was driving home one night, I had this craving for a large Chicken Bomb Sub from King Cutlet. Their chicken cutlet subs are awesome! However, King Cutlet of Salem has been closed for quite a while. I then realized that Big Daddy’s Pizza(formerly Diamanté’s Pizzeria) is now owned by the King Cutlet people(not the same owners of the Dracut King Cutlet, which is great too!) CHICKENBOMBSUB, here I come!!! I arrive at Big Daddy’s Pizza on a warm evening. I look over the menu which offers Italian style pizzas, calzones, pasta, salads, subs, haddock(Thurs-Sat), dinner plates, and YES they have the same homemade chicken cutlet subs offered at King Cutlet! I decided on a small Eggplant Pizza and an XL Chicken Bomb Sub, which was ready in under 15 minutes. The Chicken Bomb Sub was AMAZING as ever, which has large homemade breaded thin chicken cutlets, onion rings, BBQ sauce, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on a soft & chewy Fantini sub roll. The pizza had the right amounts of sauce, cheese, and breaded thin eggplant slices with a firm crust, but the crispy uneven edges were on the very thick side. Overall, the pizza was pretty a-ok, but the chicken cutlet sub was clearly star of the show at Big Daddy’s. IMHO, the place should be called Big Daddy’s Cutlets.
