Let me start by saying the South Lancaster Carl’s Jr is a horrible place to go it is disgusting it’s gross and the people that work there are rude totally bummed from that experience I received from the corporate office free meal tickets in the mail I wasn’t about to go back to the same location so we ventured on up lancaster to North Lancaster in front of Fred Meyers the people there were friendly, smiley happy and courteous and polite the food was prepared excellently it was delicious and renewed our faith in Carl’s Jr we totally enjoyed our meal it was awesome thank you so much Christy&Larry Cross

I could tell right away this visit to Carl’s was going to go sideways. Arriving for lunch at about 11:45 a.m., I pulled into the drive through, hoping to quickly grab and go. There were 3 cars ahead of me and apparently, one of the folks ahead must have placed either an especially large or especially challenging order as a lot of time elapsed before any cars moved. I had a «Carl’s Jr.-issued» coupon for a free soda and small fries with a purchase of a «5-piece Hand-breaded Chicken Tenders» so I used that and asked for Ranch dipping sauce. One of the most predictable things in fast food is that a coupon is going to somehow throw a monkey wrench into the order process. I was in a hurry and it wasn’t that it took that long for the friendly server to get it entered, but before pulling away I failed to do the«double-check» to ensure my order was complete. And sure enough(I strongly suspected this before I ever opened the bag), guess what was missing? The Ranch Sauce was not there. I just did not have time to go back, so I ate the chicken without sauce. It actually was pretty good anyway — the five larger than expected pieces of fried chicken had great flavor — but it really does get tiring when fast food employees fail to provide napkins, sauces or friendliness. At least this time I left with 2 out of 3.

The new Carl’s is all shiny and clean and they’ve hired a new crew. I’ve eaten here often in the last few months and they’re doing a great job. Hopefully they’ll keep it up.

My husband and I ate here a few months ago and our burgers were in the 30’s and 40 degree’s. We returned them and got a bunch of attitude and flack from the staff. Even at one point the employee said: «I’ll make them over again but I GUARANTEEYOU they will be cold still.» He lived up to his promise and not only did they come back cold, they came back COLDER. We eventually wrote corporate and I got a phone call back from a woman that said she felt the burgers were being tested correctly and consistently and didn’t see where there was a problem. I even submitted photos as evidence to support our experience. I always carry a temp gun with me because of shady fast food places. Haven’t had any problems in many years… until this. We weren’t complaining to get anything in return other than hopefully if we ever choose to go back again the service would change… we got a form letter in the mail and coupons for turkey burgers. I eventually paid for lunch again across town, and threw away the coupons. I would strongly consider eating some where else if food preparedness and safety are a concern of yours. Bad customer service you can live with but being sick… not so much. –SVJ

I have been to this Carl’s many times. The service is always quick and friendly. Carl’s Jr. is one of my favorite fast food joints. I can’t get enough of their Western Bacon Cheeseburgers!
