Chocolate Moose

To start, I have never been in there but always wanted to stop in!
So, this Valentine’s morning, BBB surprised me with the hub’s help to a box of chocolates from here
It was so sweet and also literally sweet!
I have a sweet tooth especially for chocolate!
We have finished half of the box, between BBB and I hehehe. BBB was all smiles and knew this was special to having all these yummy chocolates.
The hub said he chocolate is made by them, and it is fantastic chocolate!
I love how he went local instead of any of the giant chocolate companies too!
The hub said they were great with BBB (under 3 yo) and treated him to a piece of chocolate
I think I have a new favorite chocolate place! I just need to go in person!

This is a great locally-​owned business. The owner is friendly and very helpful. The chocolate is excellent especially the mint patties.

Was nice. Saturday after Christmas. Buying another present there. Owners said they had a busy season. Kids said stuff great/​excellent and would recommend.

Service is not very good here. If you have young children stay away. Owners are very impatient with children. Store is very crowded and not alot of space to move around. Prices are kind of high as well. I will not be returning.

I have never been to The Chocolate Moose. BUT, I have had their yummy candy. Our vendor brought them down to our office in CT and I have to say this candy is way better than our local chocolate.
The milk chocolate is so smooth and creamy without being overly sweet.
I plan on making a trip up there myself to peruse their store in the near future.

This is the cutest and most extensive chocolate store I’ve even stepped foot inside. The owners work the store and couldn’t be more accomodating! Wait til you see the chocolate candy and caramel covered apples they make on site. I stop in there for my Heath Bar Apple every time i am in Salem!

I love this place. i never have had anything but excellent candy. The dark chocolate is the best around. They are small but they have a great selection of candy & and chocolates. The owners are real helpful friendly people and i can’t say enough about the store !! I LOVE IT !!

Cute little candy and gift shop. I stopped in here on a hot sunny day to cool off and to check things out.
The Chocolate Moose offers homemade chocolates (boxed & chosen from the display case), candy apples (numerous candy toppings to choose from), candies, baked goods, cards, gift sets, cool t-​shirts, games, puzzles, jar goods, balloons, gift wrapping, and much more. A gift box of assorted chocolates runs around $ 15.
Also, on the main downstairs level, they also have a café which serves ice cream treats, paninis, soups, hot dogs, coffee, bottled beverages, and cookies with a couple small tables and a TV. I got a big bowl (Papa Bear size) of Moose Tracks ice cream, vanilla ice cream with chunks of chocolate bars including peanut butter cups. Very refreshing!
Although, the store is a bit cramped, I was pretty impressed with the shop offerings. I will be back again. It’s a great and easy place to pick up small gifts, chocolates, and treats for the family and friends. Next time, I’ll have to try the Pumpkin ice cream and pick up some candy apples. The staff is more than willing to help out if you have any questions. An overall 4.5 stars (rounding up to 5).
