Hands down best custard stand I’ve ever been to. Their milkshakes are second to none. Their footlongs are amazing but you gotta get their sauce on it! They’re open late March to the second Sunday in October. Also a wonderful summertime meetup spot.

Absolutely love Huddocks! It’s a good old-fashioned ice cream stand and grill. The prices are great, the only downfall is that you must have cash because they don’t accept credit/bank cards. But with the variety of ice cream to choose from and a belly buster made your way, it’s worth a trip to the ATM.

I cannot stress how much I ADORE Hudock’s. I was introduced to this place about 6 years ago, and man, what a treat. I crave this place like no other– especially not being local anymore. I moved out to Dallas a few years ago and there is nothing in comparison. I was visiting a couple weeks ago and this was a MUST on my list as they close for the season before I will be home again. I love the home grilled feeling of the food. I have gotten both the bacon cheeseburger and the foot-long hot dog in the past and I am equally satisfied with both. The cheese fries are so outta this world that I refuse to share with others. The food is separate from the custard and shakes(ALLCASH, just a heads up!) — I always seem to get the orange freeze– i cannot help myself. However the maple pecan shake was also heaven. I love the homey feeling and eating outside on the picnic table benches– taking it ‘to go’ is not the same. Overall, 10 stars!

Since I switched positions from my previous employer. I was told about this place as a local gem and I was not disappointed! I had the cheese fries, nuggets and soda. even though this place is no where near healthy of what I usually eat… the food here suits you if you have a craving for good, unhealthy, savory food!!! I really enjoyed it and i see why there are lines a quarter of a mile long!

Excellent! Great Hotdog’s! Nice place to stop for lunch or take out. They have picnic benches. Only a seasonal establishment. Family owned and very popular!

I love this place! My father used to come here as a kid and brought me here as soon as I started to eat solid food. The days of eating two giant belly busters are gone. My old standby is the footling dog with chili, fried onions, cheese, bacon and the incredible amount of love put into all the dishes. They add new stuff all the time but I say stick with the foot longs, belly busters and the ice cream stand adjacent. There is only outside seating, picnic tables and Adirondack chairs. The people watching is great, the beauty of Salem counties golden fields in all directions and the people are friendly. The only drawback is the wind and keeping your paper plates held onto. This is always my summer staple, especially when I ride my Harley. Nothing on the healthy side but who wants that when your relaxing? Seasonal btw.

Hudock’s has been a seasonal staple in my life since I discovered their foot-long hot dogs — delicious! I get mine with sauerkraut and spicy mustard! My husband really enjoys their cheese fries, and he often orders something different each time. That being said, he has yet to be disappointed! The custard stand is good, though they have a smaller selection than the Pennsville custard stand. Let’s be honest, though… one can’t go wrong with any type of custard in southern New Jersey! If you’ve never been to Hudock’s, stop and try anything on the menu! You won’t be sorry!

Good old ‘greasy spoon’ food in a country setting. Eating here for over 30 years. Great place to sit at one of the many picnic tables and enjoy the scenery.

Hudock’s is always fantastic. The burgers are awesome, the corn fritter sides are amazing, and it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. We go a dozen or so times when they are open for the season.

Great place for ice cream and grilled food with friendly customer service and awesome ice cream! Though seasonal, it is a pretty cool and unique experience espcially if you sit on the side or around back on a perfect day in the summer in the country.

Home of the Bellybuster burger… as big as a paper plate… with a bun to match! Great roadside food(burgers, dogs, etc.) with an ice cream stand next door. This place is great for grabbing takeout food on-the-go, or as a day trip with the family to enjoy outdoor eating at Hudock’s several picnic tables. Reasonably priced food in a great setting.

Hudock’s is a rare side-of-the-road ice cream/hamburger joint that you can only go to in rural, out of the way communities. In many ways, places like Hudock’s are a fond reminder of a past we are too quickly losing. Places that are run by honest folks making honest food. It just feels like a true slice of Americana. Located in the middle of a giant corn field, Hudock’s is a walk-up stand. The menu is done magnet style behind the cashier, and there is a gravel stone area to stand while you wait for your food. The most expensive item is their signature Belly Buster. It’s a burger the size of a Frisbee, and it cost 6 bucks. Yea, this place is cheapcheapCHEAP. And boy, is it delicious. The patty is thin and salty, the roll dusted with flour and chewy. It just really hits the spot. The rest of the menu is a mix of the eclectic and the predictable. There are the obligatory(and yummy) foot long dogs, fries, pizza steaks and onion rings. Then there’s the apple turnovers, corn fritters and broasted chicken. Try one, try em all. Chances are that if you are reading this, you will be going to Hudocks once on a drive through rural Salem County. If that is the case, get a soda, fries and a Belly Buster. And oh yeah, get one of the super awesome tee shirts for 7 bucks. You’ll be happy you did.
