Fantastic chicken parm and stuffed shells. Always order these for big events. Forget the negative reviews for soggy sub and cranky old ladies! Just enjoy good food at reasonable prices. Keep up the good work MIKE!

Mike’s is an old style grocery store. The meat is good, prices reasonable and not the hassle of McKinnon’s. I did like the Meat House but now that they are gone, Mike’s is my choice. The sausage is the best in the Merrimack Valley area. The butcher services are great. We order our holiday roasts here all the time. Occasionally, I buy the pre=made meals and the quality is good. Love their cakes. The whipped cream frosting is very good, light and moist. Could I use better produce, sure but that’s just means a stop at Pete’s on the way home.

The only thing we ever went there for was their sausage and thought it was pretty good. There is a older woman that works the cash register there, She is so rude its unreal… «NEVER» ever says thank you to anyone and always has a grumpy look on her face. Nothing worse than a place that doesn’t appreciate your business IMO. Everything in the store is way overpriced as well.

I rarely come to Mike’s Red barn now as The Meat House and Super McKinnon’s Butcher Shops have opened up in town. The prices are way too high for many of their homemade specialties. Their sausage is still better then McKinnon’s but their tips are just as good as the others. The homemade entrees and salads are WAY overpriced. I do still indulage in a rice ball from time to time. Produce still overpriced and generally sucks and has much to be desired. Bakery items are of good quality and appear to be fresh. However I rarely buy sweets.
