Went for a family lunch and to watch a game. 3 adults and 2 kids. Purchased 2 pizzas, large pitcher of colors and 2 sodas. Halfway through the game we wanted another pitcher of coors. After ringing us up we were told we can’t have another one because we only had 3 adults. Completely shocked by that comment. Completely rude in how they handle the situation. The fact that after they said that comment we had to ask for the money back. Cashier rolled her eyes and said«i will have to get my manager. «Will never go back!

Great pizza. Humdinger and Bandito are delicious! Very nice people. I wish they had a salad bar and some side items. But we love the pizza.

Good pizza, wait time is horrible and service sucks. I put one star for only the pizza.

6:50pm 12÷22÷15 I called in and ordered a couple pizzas(Pine street location). Was told that the pizzas would be ready for pickup in 30 minutes. My pregnant wife arrived to pick up the pizzas and was told that they lost the ticket and hadn’t even put in the order. That’s fine, accidents happen. I understand that. I called in to talk to the manager to see if there was any way to expedite the pizzas, so she wouldn’t have to wait another half hour. The manager was extremely rude. Didn’t want to listen to me, didn’t care and tried telling me that as long as I was on the phone with him, the pizzas wouldn’t be put into the oven(as if he was the only employee working). Defiantly not the response I was looking for. I hope that the owners of this place take the customers into consideration and find better people to staff. I would understand if it was Friday or Saturday evening, but it’s Tuesday afternoon. I am an instructor at Oregon Culinary Institute. My career has been based off of the hospitality industry for over a decade. The food is great at Paddington’s. It is unfortunate that I will not be returning to this place because the manager on duty was overwhelmed and having a bad day. No excuses for the manor in which he conducted himself. I will be contacting the owner tomorrow to inform them of the situation. If you are in the Salem area, I would normally recommend this place. But I will no longer be doing that. There are enough places around with quality pizza to justify never returning. If the owner of Paddingtons Pizza reads this review. I urge you to respond with a reason. I will be follow on this review with what the owner has to say about this situation.

Love the pizza thin crust, great toppings. It’s one of my faves. The manager on pine street was really nice. He gave me ranch I was almost denied for only having my debit(50 cents so I kinda get it) person that wasn’t going to let me have ranch was a high school girl otherwise she gave decent service. The pepperonis are the best and there’s a choice of fresh or canned mushrooms yummy.

Almost 5 stars! A certain staff member who was taking orders, was snide and just plain rude to a lot of customers. But the pizza was the bomb… and it wasn’t very busy on a Sunday afternoon. Piggy wiggy me almost ate my whole medium extra cheese, but alas did not. I had never been to this Pine St. location… but will return again, as it’s closer to our house than traveling out to the south Padingtons.

The pizza is the best in town! A little high priced on everything but the lunch specials… but I’m ok with that because it’s seriously delicious! The service is always a little iffy… no one there from the workers to the management seems happy… I don’t know if they have perpetual grumpy face or if they are really unhappy but either way… as long as the pizza is good… I can’t complain!

Description said they had Chicago style pizza but was thin crust and was just ok. I guess I came with higher expectations. Our black butte porter was good.

Went here with a pastor friend for a lunch meeting and I can’t even remember what kind of pizza we got but it was delicious and the atmosphere was pretty cool kind of a wood chips on the floor kind of place with lots of hustle and bustle and happy talking and smiles all around kind of place. I would honestly say one of my three top pizzas in the area.

Cant even answer their phone when you call, long wait times to have pizzas made — they obviously think they are the best place in town, but they are in for a rude awaking as customers will not tolerate their terrible service.

Good selection of pizzas ok crust and not at a bad price. Not the best pizza I’ve had but not mediocre either. I would say above average. Sucks that they closes early even on weekends and no delivery.

I called to place and order over the phone and the lady that answered was beyond rude. I asked to also order my drinks and she states we cannot take your drink order at the pizza bar so I say ok pass me to the drink side and she refused. Needless to say I was really upset I ended up canceling my order and I wont go back either the one on Pine St. This is not the first time I have gotten rude service from this one. NOBODY smiles while they are working there. Commercial St. is a lot better and much more friendly.

Pizza is fantastic but if it wasn’t for the sweet little girls working the counter, this place would be in the toilet. I sat waiting for my pizza and the young boys making the food looked like they wanted to kill themselves while the manager would set the pizzas on the counter, call out who it belonged to and then continued to repeat. No, «thanks for coming in» or anything. Might not come back solely because of that.

I love their pizza I however don’t like the differences between the pine st parlor and commercial south. Pine st Nickel and dimes you. If you get a To go cup on their Monday and Tuesday lunch special they charge you $.50 more. Commercial never does this. While minor in cost, it is the little things that just tick people off. What next are you going to charge for ice. I would rather not have a drink offered then to b e petty over a couple cents.

I can’t tell you whether or not the food is good because I have been waiting for 45 minutes(not an exaggeration) for my pizza. The gal at the counter just called my number and when I went to pick up my pizza, she said it had not been made. I guess they lost my ticket. Other than that, this place has an odd, old-timey saloon motif that includes a flat panel TV mounted above the fireplace for some reason. They make you pay cash for drinks at the saloon bar and will not sell you drinks where you pay for your pizza… I don’t get it. We weren’t buying alcoholic beverages so I don’t understand why you can’t purchase soda at the same time as your pizza. I guess I will amend this review if my pizza is amazing… if I ever get it. :(

I love Padington’s. Especially the lunch sized pizzas. They’re just the right amount. I prefer the south location to the north location. The environment at the south location seems to be happier/more positive. And the pizza is just a little bit better. I’ve noticed that the norths pizza comes out a little wet on the bottom. Still tasty though. But I prefer a crispy crust. Not a soggy one. Oh well Humdinger is my fav. So delicious. Padington’s is always a great choice for a meal !

Love this place. A lot like Wallery’s without the screaming kids, and video games. Very clean and just a nice place to get your pizza eaten’ on. Con. A little pricey.

We went to Padington’s for lunch today(Halloween) and instead of a friendly, personable welcome when we got there about 3 minutes early, they told us to leave because they weren’t open until 11:00am. Ok, that’s not so bad. We waited and when we finally were let in, we went to the counter to order. Not a smile could be seen in the place. Everyone seemed to be miserable and not very happy to help us. The bartender was the only one who had any personality and she was friendly and nice. I ordered 2 salads because I saw a salad bar off in the distance. When we got to the salad bar, I was dissapointed to see a few pre-made salads sitting there. Bummer… I wouldn’t have ordered one if I knew this was the case. We got our pizza but nobody offered us plates or anything so we sat at the table wondering if we ewre supposed to use napkins or what. I went back up to ask and the friendly bartender handed me some styrofoam appetizer size plates(weird that we don’t even get full size plates). The pizza was ok… it’s not my favorite but my mom likes it so it’s probably personal preference. The worst part came at the end when we needed a to-go box for the rest of our pizza. They charged us 35 cents for a box!!! Completely unheard of in my experience! I couldn’t believe it! Overall, this place was not good at all. They need an attitude adjustment and some common sense… customers need plates and to-go boxes. I won’t be returning.
