I am raising my rating by one star for this business. First off, let me say: love the business. They care about their customers’ satisfaction, they follow up, and went out of their way to make sure they’re delivering a quality experience. After my first visit, where I gave them 2 stars, they made it up to me and gave me another shot, and mailed me a free coupon. But after my visit today I have come to the conclusion that I just do not care for their pizza. I think its just me. Other people obviously love this place, and you might too.(I drove by Sat. night and it was packed, so people like it here.) There was nothing«wrong» with the pizza today: it was Hot, fresh, and juicy. They delivered a quality product. For some reason I do not care for it. The flavor, perhaps of the sauce, or maybe it was the crust, or maybe both, but it is just not to my liking. Do I think YOU would like it? There is a very good chance of that. So I would recommend everybody go there, at least once, and give them a shot to earn your business. If you like it, then you’ve just found a great pizza spot. Its huge inside, and the people are friendly. Go check ‘em out. (Abby’s, I’m sorry that the«fit» wasn’t right between my palate and your pizza… and I wish you much success with your business. Thank you for giving me another shot to review your place. Your attitude of customer service is so appreciated, and sorely missing from most places these days.)

I haven’t been here for years and was invited to a party. I was a little worried, because I have food allergies and normally can’t eat pizza. I checked online for ingredients and was surprised to find complete allergen information. I could eat almost everything! Even though, it was a little expensive and it took awhile to get our food, the pizza was incredibly delicious! I have a new favorite pizza place! I love it!

Great experience every time I’ve ordered. I love the spuds, but this place doesn’t seem to ever to cook them long enough. Not once have They been that nice golden color. They’re always pale like they are when they come out of the bag.(I’ve worked at an Abbys in Southern Oregon). That’s my only complaints friendly staff, hot pizza, good delivery times. I still love their crust. I’m sad that they don’t do chicken anymore! I absolutely loved the chicken and spuds combos they used to have. :(

I LOVE Abby’s pizza! It is our absolute favorite in town. This place has always been good to us. We have held many family functions here and the service has always been good over the last 20 years. I can’t think of a single bad experience here in 20+ years of going here.

Best pizza in Keizer, in my opinion! Sure the prices are a little high, but the pizza is delicious, and so are the jojos! The service is always great too, unlike the other local pizza joint . Great food & great service.

Came here for the first time to try their thick crust pizza since that’s pretty hard to find in the northwest. You order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. There’s also a drink station and salad bar. The salad bar was ok but standard: lettuce, veggies, macaroni salad, potato salad, and dressings. We tried their breadsticks which are actually large strips of garlic bread with melted cheese on top. They didn’t have a lot of flavor. The pizza was disappointingly bland and didn’t seem to have enough sauce although the sauce was somewhat bland too. My wife and I had about half a pizza left over and didn’t even care enough for it to get a box– even though our bill came to $ 30 some dollars. One and done.

2 stars because of the price. The pizza was good, tasted fresh, and came out super hot. I’m new to the area, and will keep looking for my non-chain pizza spot. $ 38 for pizza and drinks is ridiculous.

Abby’s was our family’s favorite when I was in high school. It’s your typical small town pizza place– salad bar, pizza, arcade games, and a party room. Plenty of space for large groups. Having had a 10 year break in between having their pizza, I was pleasantly surprised when I went in recently. It was delicious. Crispy, thin crust with a cornmeal mixture. Lots of unique toppings to choose from. I would order again! It’s not gourmet, but if you’re looking for a higher quality pizza, I’d go here.

We ordered the special, giant Hawaiian pizza. There was no sauce, the crust was very hard to chew, and there was very little pineapple. For $ 17.99, I expected a lot more. I used to love Abby’s pizza. I could of gone to Little Ceasars and gotten a better pizza for a lot less. It’s doubtful that I will be back.

My first time trying Abby’s… I had a giant half Abby’s special half Hawaiian delivered and was a little disappointed. I expected better pizza for the price. The good things are the amount of toppings, very generous; and the delivery driver was super nice and apologetic that it took so long(wasn’t really an issue to me) the bad was the crust! Soggy and doughy to a fault. I’m not sure if this was due to the pizza being delivered or if this is how it normally comes but I would suggest eating in if you’re trying it for the first time.

Good pizza! Haven’t been here since High School 30 years ago, but have always remembered it as being good … and they are. Was there Tuesday night for a fundraiser for a dear friend who is fighting cancer. Let me just take this opportunity to say how totally cool it is of Abby’s to do fundraisers for people — this is not the first time they’ve ever done this. They give 25 percent of the proceeds to the person the fundraiser is being held for, as well as allowing jars on the counters for people to donate. I don’t know of any other place that does this — so that, in & of itself, is super cool. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable. The service left a little to be desired — the young man who started my order was very friendly … but he was underage and unable to sell alcohol. He didn’t even know the prices of their alcoholic beverages — and instead of getting someone to help him, he just kept standing there telling me he didn’t know and he couldn’t help me, but that«she» could«when she gets done». Didn’t ever find out who«she» was or what«she» was doing — never saw«her». I had to ask the young man to please get someone who could help us NOW, and he called over an older man who was making pizzas. This gentleman was obviously very annoyed that he had to come help me, and let me know it. So points down on the service. The pizza is yummy, especially the thin crust. Deep Dish crust is just OK. Toppings are yummy. We had the Pepperoni, the Meat-Izza(SOGOOD!), and the Sicilian … which is a white sauce pizza, and is sooooooo good. We only got a small one of the Sicilian, to try it, and next time we will for sure get the largest size. Delicious!

Friday evening we finished up some errands & decided to grab a pizza. First place was Hard Wood Fire Pizza but they were slammed so we decided on Abby’s. I called them up ordered a Hawaiian lady told me 20 – 25 mins. We arrived & waited for ANHOUR. My kids were beyond upset. I called by the time the manager FINALLY decided to take my call, my other half was walking out the door with our pizza! Both of my kids still really upset, trying to talk/hear the manager who was being snotty with me when I said I wasn’t going back & having us wait any longer for her to «comp» my order! She said they would mail out the stuff to comp me… which I have yet to receive & they’re not even 2 miles away… For the giant Hawaiian we paid $ 24 to pick up, it wasn’t that good or maybe after what we dealt with, it didn’t seem appealing. Should have just went to Paddingtons where pizza is awesome & we’ve never had an issue! Plus their Hawaiian is $ 22 with better service & balloons for the kids!

Doug wrote me with his concerns. I appreciate that cause Abby’s pizza is great. I’ll take it as a fluke this time.

I don’t know where the bad reviews are coming from. Great pizza, great service, great beer, great prices and it met my expectations. I wasn’t looking for gourmet or fine wine and to blow a lot of money, I wanted great classic tasting pizza with a pitcher of beer and free ranch to dip my pizza into

I have always been a big fan of Abby’s but I don’t have one where I live. So I was in Salem and stopped by. The guy behind the counter was nice and took our order. He offered us cups for water while we wait; since we ordered to go. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and side order of studs. The prices are a little higher than most chain pizza places but I think the quality is much better than most. I have the salad bar a once over and it was clean and seemed fresh. I have to agree with Chuck and Erin that the plates are small. If you order to go you get a nice size container. Its three time the plate size and the same price. The only problem with them was the girl that brought our order to us. There are a big pizza box on the bottom, smaller pizza box on top of that and a paper bag on top of that’s. I knew what was in all the boxes and what was in the bag. The girl opened all everything. She showed and explained what everything was. I felt like she was treating me like I was stupid. She was dumping down our order. Kind of wired but I got over it.

What the mother-F was I thinking??? This was the most disappointing meal I have had in a while. The pizza was terribly expensive – more than $ 25 for the large size! That’s more than Padingtons! The ‘one time thru’ salad bar was $ 4.50 and the plate was smaller than the average salad plate you’d find in your own kitchen cupboard. It was more like a saucer than a plate! The pizza was average. Not as good as Padingtons, but not as bad as Pizza Hut. However, for $ 25 I expect superb pizza. The crust was odd and reminded me of a frozen Tony’s brand pizza. Upon inspection of the pizza prep area, I noticed that the deep dish crusts were premade, par-baked, and stacked in plastic bags. Not a good sign. They also charge $ 2.50 more for deep dish(we didn’t get deept dish). While discussing the werid crust with my comrads, I declared that the menu made claims of «fresh made dough daily». I grabbed the menu to prove it, only to realize that instead of «fresh dough MADE daily», it stated«dough that’s ROLLED fresh daily». What does that mean, exactly? I just don’t get it. The place seemed popular by the number of cars in the lot, but they all must have belonged to employees because we were the only customers.

Abby’s has been around Keizer for as long as I’ve known(over 20+ years) and it is truly«legendary» as its been coined in its title. However, while the service is now reduced to high school kids who have less than stellar manners, it still chugs out some of the best family-style pizza the area has to offer. The place has undergone some renovation as of late as it has to keep up with the rapid development of its city surroundings, hence it looks better than before inside and out. The prices haven’t gone up that much throughout the years, hence it remains one of the affordable options in Keizer.
