I completely agree with Max M. I paid $ 8 for a small key lime pie and it was sooooo disappointing. Far too much whipped cream; the key lime was tasteless, not fresh and tart like good key lime pies; and overall much too sweet. Overrated and too expensive for the quality. those who are raving about the key lime pie need to get their palates checked.

I live in NY and drive to the Whole Foods in Danbury Ct to get the Key Lime Pie. Please, please, please get your pies to NY Stores(Dutchess County) best key lime pie I have ever had. After seeing the reviews for the Apple pie I’m going to see if they have that when I go that way today.

I have not had a quality apple pie in some time and still haven’t. I was hoping for what I remember and was quite disappointed. The crust was not fully cooked on the base and the top crust was not crisp at all. The apples were soggy and mushy… What happened to the pie I loved???

Have heard a lot about Pie Guy Pies, so this Review is just based on the Key Lime Pie. Bought this as an additional Dessert for Thanksgiving and what we had hoped to be an exceptional Key Lime Pie turned out to be a total disappointment. Too much cream and to little key lime mixture and the Graham Cracker Crust soft and soggy not to mention that it was overbearingly sweet… So a 2 Star Review is being generous. Will not buy again!!!

Fresh and they are made very well, I love the key lime and apple pies.

The Pie Guy… what can I say? These are probably some of the most horrible pies ever made! Seriously, the worst. Have you ever made a pie? Do these even resemble a home baked pie? Do they even come close? Literally horrible.

You’d be hard-pressed to find a dessert that tickles more the fancy of a native Floridian than the perfectly portioned, five-bite baby Key Lime pie from these wizards of crumby crusts and natural fillings. Unfortunately, I’m not their Salem neighbors, lest I gain a buck-forty and have to wheel myself to the Oompaloompa Juicing Chamber™ on the weekly just to fit in to human clothes(#cowjorts should be trending by now). Fortunately, I am able to find their lovely little treats at Pemberton Farms and most Whole Foods locations. You are living the dream, Guy behind the Pie. Don’t stop baking.

I had heard about these pies for a while so I decided to get one for Easter. I got the Old Fashioned Apple which has a huge raised crust which I thought was stuffed with apples. To my embarrassment at the Easter dinner, it’s not. It’s filled with air. The apples in the pie are just level with the crust(if that) and the big humped crust is empty and dry. I’d love to post a picture here, but if you want to see it, they have a picture on their OWNWEBSITE which has quite a bit more apple than mine did, but still a huge void! I only wish i’d gone there before my purchase. if you want Old Fashioned Apple Pie from New England, stick with the Stop ‘n Shop Bakery Apple. It’s heaped with actual APPLES, costs less, is bigger and much more moist.

So my coworker has been raving about the«Apple Cream Pie» she went to the grocery store, they didn’t have it. Her and her family enjoyed it so much, they wanted another, but when she went to the grocery store they didn’t have any in stock. She called Pie Guy and actually spoke to the owner, who told her that she will send a pie to the Stop and Shop of her choice with her name. Based off of that I was sold all ready! And i wanted a piece of this Pie Guy Pie! I’ve waited about 4 weeks to finally see what all the raving was, she cut me a nice slice, the pie is a good size filled with whip cream, I took my fork out, put a piece in my mouth… and guess what folks! I swear I tell you no lie, i took one bite and then went to take another, I literally drooled on my desk. LOL!!! It taste amazing!!! Thanks Shelly! Thanks Pie Guy!

Oh Pie Guy!!! How we love you. A few Christmases ago, someone brought the MOST amazing apple pie to our family dinner. It was an Apple Cream Pie. If only we had 4(or 40) of them. The visual of a «Mile High» style pie that is filled to the BURSTING with delicious whipped cream was enough to make this entire family salivate but what sold everyone was the taste. We were on a mission! Where was this amazing pie from? Who brought it and where did they find it. After searching through gift wrapped filled trash bags we came up with the cover. The Pie Guy!!! (Angels singing from on high) The Pie Guy is available in many Supermarkets. I generally buy one pie a week from my local Stop and Shop. I disagree with the people who say they are costly. A fresh from scratch apple pie with ingredients you can pronounce filled with whipped cream is 11.99(Serves 6 – 8) With the cost of cream, butter, fruit etc, it could cost me that much to attempt to make this pie! Trust me. Go to their website. Their options are amazing and the quality is A++. Meri is the best customer service person you will EVER talk to. She ensured I had a pie for my uncle last week when I was in a bind. She really came to the rescue! Try The PIEGUY! You will NOT be disappointed!

These are all around Boston and I decided to buy a small package… I got the chocolate whoppie pie and it was mediocre at best… Starting with the smell, it has the smell of fake chocolate or bad coco powder or at least really strong coco powder. When you bite into it, you know that the cake is too heavy with little flavor except for the coco and the crème is flavorless. If you do end up getting them, just remember that youre going to get something similar to little chocolate cake bites and not whoopie pies. Maybe the pies are better, I hope someone tries them and puts up a review

I am not a big fan of «THE Pie Guy» pies. I have bought their pies before at local markets and was not that impressed. The flavors are good but at $ 9.00+ a pie, I would rather buy the ingredients and make my own pie, as my own homemade or homemade from others are far superior.

My husband and I went to McKinnon’s meat market and stumbled across some individual bakery items that were from Pie Guy. My husband got chocolate silk cream pie and I got pecan pie. Both were sweet but not overpowering and used all natural ingredients and included nutritional facts! We had mini pies and they were 2.00 a piece. These were better than any pies I have ever had in a restaurant and were less expensive. I will definitely be making the trip up to Salem. If you can’t get up there Mckinnon’s has some of their individual pies.
