Waited for a table in the front space (event space?) but they were short staffed so were not serving drinks up there. Got drinks at the bar, though, and waited a bit longer than her estimated time of 20 – 25 minutes. Got a sweet table watching the icy river and all ordered burgers and quesadillas. Food and service were ‘good’ to very good’ but upgraded to 4 stars for the ambience.

You can’t beat the ambiance and view; by far one of the best in the country. The Boathouse really try’s however I enjoy the food at Rivers Edge, their other restaurant much better.
As for the food, most of what I have had was just mediocre. Items I enjoyed were the green chili and the grilled shrimp salad. Unfortunately the hamburgers and burritos are just ok for me, nothing special. Haven’t had any problem with the service it’s always been great!

Not much to write home about. Has Gluten-​free sandwiches and mexican-​ish.
Hispanic food wasn’t all that awesome. It was tasty, and the free salsa (to go with the free chips) was pretty spicy. The chips themselves however, were pretty bland. Not quite bad, but not on the good side either. Mediocre.

I’ll say, a bit over a 3, but just can’t quite go to 4.
The staff and service were just fine. The hostess greeted us right away and gave us a nice table, not window side but with a good view of the river. With the window wall fully open at lunchtime on a beautiful summer day, it was a nice experience. Our waiter was also friendly and efficient.
The food was OK. We had a taco plate that was attractive, ample for the two of us for lunch, but fairly ordinary. I thought the tortillas were a bit sour, which I find on occasion at other places too. Not sure if it is the recipe or freshness.
There are not a lot of lunch options in Salida, away from the fast food on the highway, and this seemed the better of the two local places we checked on.

Giving a 1 star review because zero isn’t an option. Shittiest service in my life. All the waitresses are pissed off at the world. Go to Benson’s up the street.

Really enjoyed the food here. Service was so-​so but overall a nice spot to eat right on the river. Pretty solid beer menu. The cantina club sandwich I had was delicious. I mean really good. Everything that the group had looked good as well. Would come back here when passing through Salida.
