Super 8 I-70

My Husband and I made a pit stop here in Salina, KS after driving for 7 hours. We choose super 8 for their prices and indoor pool (end up not going for a swim). This was supposed to be a place to sleep for the night and stay till about 6 to finish work. (some places are flexible about working and will let you stay without charging extra). Did I mention this place was literally empty, wifi unreliable and no elevators?! Not a place I would recommend or stay again!

Was trying to get to the Ramada west in Topeka because they’re ½ way home & have an amazing heated pool with 2 story slide (I have 4 kids) BUT I completely crashed in Salina so I picked this place for the pool & free breakfast. I asked for a discount (always ask!) which I got & was very pleasantly surprised! Clean, nice, fridge, microwave, nicely decorated, comfy beds. Huge spread for the breakfast which included fresh waffles, biscuits & gravy, fruit, etc. Except for the pool which was still decent but not comparable it was a great stay!

This Super 8 location is great — clean, affordable, and everything you need for an overnight stay. We always stay at this location when we’re driving home to Colorado from visiting family in Indiana. Close to I-​70 and very affordable.
It may not be a brand new Super 8 and not have all of the lobby features that the new ones have, but it still has a nice little breakfast area set up and decent quick food for the morning — even has a waffle maker!
We ordered pizza from Coop’s Pizzeria after checking in and took it back to the room with some Stella Artois from a nearby liquor store. The perfect end to a long day on the road.

HORRIBLE customer service. The front desk person, Dallas, somehow cancelled my reservation so that I had to wait almost a half hour for the debacle to be corrected to check in. Rooms smell disgusting. Stay somewhere else.

Never had a receipt printed out and slid under the door in the middle of the night! Normal?

Very nicely surprised by the room. Clean and updated room, nice shower — larger size, bathtub, good water pressure, didn’t fluctuate temp! Decent breakfast selection, quiet room, dog friendly, fast wi-​fi! Definitely recommended.

Good place to stay. One of the nicest Super 8’s I have stayed at. Very clean. Quick breakfast. Lots of gas and fast food nearby.

This motel was clean and comfortable! The staff was Courteous and conscientious To my needs. I suggest you try it out If you’re looking for a clean safe place for your family to stay! It’s right next to I –70 So you have to deal with the occasional Jake breaking jerks But overall worth The occasional noise. They have a clean pool and spa that is nice to relax in after a long days work or travel.
