Came here with a basketball team with 21 people in our party. They accommodated us without a problem. They were very quick with our order and everyone was pleased with the service. Well done by the entire staff… servers and cooks!

Looking forward to fresh food as advertised. Nothing fresh; water soaked lettuce for a salad and some kind of processed turkey. Needs to take the word «home made» off their windows.

This place was alright. The service was ok and the food was better than i expected but nothing special. It was very quick and i enjoyed it. If you want some good breakfast food i would say go here instead of any other place.

First of all, realize that you are in Kansas, and they like to eat BIG. The portions here are huge! I ha the meat eaters 3 egg omelette, coffee, hash browns and a biscuit with a side of gravy for $ 9. Honest! It’s not fancy, the restaurant is dated and the clientele is the retired elite of Salina, but the food is good and plentiful. A little slow on the coffee fill up, but that’s my only negative. All in all, give it a try. Your heart won’t thank you, but your belly will.

yes, the demographic seemed to be for the 65+ crowd, and it was a little dated in the décor dept, BUT it was totally perfect for almost 20 of my family members and i to go to an impromptu breakfast before we all took off in our separate ways. (we were in town for a funeral)
the waitress was super friendly and accommodating to our loud and hungry crowd, and handled the stragglers with ease in regards to getting orders in. (on a sunday no less, it was busy!) the food was prompt and tasty. definitely «down home» cooking. the prices were amazing and the portions large.
im happy to be back to my city with frou-​frou coffee drinks and sushi, but for being in small town america i left charmed and full.

Best food in Salina. Breakfast anytime, great staff, easy parking, and great service. If you have a family this is the place to stop. I feed all eleven of us for less than $ 80.

Best food in Salina. One of the most economical places to eat in Salina for a group or for a few. Relative quick (30 – 45 minutes). Great daily specials.

This place is great. Awesome home style cooking. Definitely my go to place for a quick and cheap lunch. Breakfast all day, great lunch specials. Super fast service. Kind of hidden in a small strip mall. Well worth the try if you like old fashioned specials.

The median age of patrons is about 76. Gotta love that long life expectancy in the midwest!
