I saw the Haitian metal art at the Sunset event two weekends ago and loved it!!! I saved the business card and went to the Its Cactus website on Sunday and placed an order. I received my order two days later!!! The art piece I ordered was lovingly packed and tied with a purple raffia bow and two handcrafted miniature roses. Such a nice touch. This was for me, but it felt very special to have been so thoughtfully wrapped. Thank you Helen for terrific service, supporting fair trade, recycled metal artists! You’ve made my day!!!

My wife and I loved this store. Sadly, the retail location is closed. They are 100% online now. Hopefully this works out for them, but it was nice to just go into the store and browse for a gift. The online shopping experience is not the same. The items sold were very unique and difficult to appreciate in an online photo.

Excellent service! Very happy with the quality of the several pieces of Haitian oil drum art I ordered on line. I appreciated the rapid response to my order as well as the care taken in packaging. I enjoy dropping by the store for a browsing treat when I am traveling near Salinas.

A great shop for unique gifts! The owner travels the globe to find the perfect thing for the hard to shop for friend or relative. The staff is friendly and helpful and always have great ideas, even when you don’t know what you’re looking for. I highly recommend checking out this shop.
