Since I live so close to Monterey I don’t normally eat at a red lobster, seems silly. But I decided to give it a try. I was surprised by the cleanliness of the place and by the great customer service I received. I tried a great raspberry tea there as well. But, the food was so deeply entrenched in oil, grease, and fat that I couldn’t eat it. Had to take it home and bake it in order to get all that off. My food was literally wading in it. I don’t have any plans on going here again but it’s only because of the food and how much they charge you for it. I just don’t see paying that much for grease.

I been craving lobster lately so we decided to come here and eat. My plate was 30 dollars so I wasn’t really expecting big lobster tails. But I did get my fix on. The food was very tasty but I think service could of been a little better. We kinda sat near the kitchen. We were starting to accumulate a lot of empty plates that were not cleared from our table. If it were my restaurant any staff heading back to the kitchen empty handed is really not doing their jobs. So many staff just walking by our table not even paying attention to our stack of plates that needed to be cleared from the table. But I guess you really can’t expect much from chain type restaurants. Next I get my craving for seafood I’ll have to head to San Fransisco to get real service and seafood.

We have eaten here and it is fine… Standard Red Lobster, nothing special here, but I am rating a phone experience when calling about reservations, which it says here on Unilocal, they take, but they do NOT. Actually pretty rude about it, I just asked the kid that answered, he said they don’t but that I could talk to a manager. I was fine with the policy, but he acted like maybe an exception could be made, so I was like sure, I will talk with the manager. Connie gets on the phone and proceeds to explain in a very condescending monotone non caring voice, that, «yeah we know its graduation, but still its first come first serve…» blah blah blah. I was like OK fine, maybe you should explain that to the guy answering the phone so that he doesn’t bother to suggest people speak to your not so pleasant self.

I haven’t been to this Red Lobster in more than a decade. As a result, I had no idea why I stopped coming in to begin with. As a lover of all things sea food… I decided to give it another shot. Unfortunately for me however, I was reminded of the very reason I stopped coming to this establishment, very quickly. Upon arriving, my mother and I were seated far away from all other patrons. I found this quite weird not only because the restaurant was nearly empty, but because we gave no special requests or seating preferences. Once seated, we began to peruse the menu to see what we wanted. **Disclaimer: Our server though sweet, was difficult to work with.** When the server came to the table, we asked him to give us a moment while we looked at the menu. He agreed and left. After 2 minutes, he returned to ask if we were ready. We told him to give us more time. This little back and forth repeated at least 3 more times before we felt pressured into ordering something. My mom asked for fish and chips but the server told her that after the«lunch time» menu was removed for the day, they no longer served it. This is not advertised anywhere and not widely known, so you could imagine the disappointment. After a few minutes of back and forth about menu options, we ended up canceling our order and leaving, only paying for the drinks that we barely touched during the whole ordeal. I do not see a return visit on the horizon, but I hope the customer service and overall experience improves for other customers sooner rather than later!

What happened? Mother’s day? and we received the worst service we have ever had at this facility. Got the order wrong, steak was under cooked, No cod? Guess what my wife wanted, sorry not today. Thanks for making her day so special.

Had such a great time tonight. The service was really good for a change. Our server is extremely pleasant and helpful as to what is real good on the dessert menu. We enjoyed the lobster pizza and for dessert had the«chocolate wave» and«warm apple crostada» Fred by far the best server at this place! If the rest of the servers could have his out going personality and charisma it would make a more enjoyable time on future visits. Because of him I will return in the future…

Forgot to check in on Valentines Day, but would like to still leave a review. For being Valentines around 12:45pm the wait wasn’t bad, about 20 — 25 minutes. Our waiter was Adam, very nice and professional customers service. Food was great. Shortly after our meal was served the manager came by and ask how everything was; as a customer I appreciate that the manager would even take his/her time to go around ask each table if everything is good.

Service was good — 5 stars for service. Food, on the other hand, could have been much better. I’ve been to other Red Lobster locations in the past and the food has never been as salty and oily as it was in this location. Biscuits at this location were a bit too salty. The crab linguine Alfredo was very oily/buttery. The crab tasted a bit. How can I explain it. Odd. It had a bit of a chlorine plasticky flavor. It just had an odd flavor that I didn’t appreciate. Overall, I give this experience a 3 star. I probably won’t be returning to this location ever again.

This location must be either the best one or one of the best. Firstly it’s a very big, clean space with nicely laid out tables and booths so no one feels crowded when dining. And the service is excellent. Our server was friendly without being pretentious and did his job exceptionally well. We dined here during lunchtime, and what we could tell is there were more people choosing to dine at Red Lobster than at BJ’s Brewhouse which is just across the parking lot. Prices are very reasonable, and there are many good selections. The food was fresh and cooked well too. It’s unfortunate that the one and only Red Lobster near our home is very poor, lacking in both the service and food.

The last couple of times I have noticed the quality of their steaks has been very good. They have consistent quality in their seafood. The service could be stepped up, not always consistent or prompt. Prices are moderately high.

Visited the restaurant last night with my son, grandmother and cousin. Ordered the Mudslide and it was delicious! For appetizer I recommend the calamari and veggies. As an entrée I enjoyed the wild Alaskan salmon grilled to perfection. Great service by Janet. Overall an enjoyable experience. Will be back soon!

We had the best lunch here today! Warm cheddar biscuits, crab n lobster stuffed mushrooms, popcorn shrimp, added a grilled lobster tail for only $ 11.49! Fish n chips. Iced tea and coke all under $ 50.00! Our server was awesome! The hostess was friendly too! Love this place!

Hadn’t been to Red Lobster for awhile, but I remembered that I did enjoy their Lobster Tails. BIGMISTAKE !!! Had the $ 33.99 special with two tails and Lobster and Shrimp Linguine. It was explained to me that the large tail was Rock Lobster, which was larger but not as high quality as the smaller tail — Maine Lobster. Large tail lacked any flavor and was tough and chewy. The small tail was edible but lacked taste also. I would have sent it back but I didn’t realize the large tail was so bad until I got it home. The linguine was tasty but drenched in butter(?), margarine(?, flavored(oil). the calorie count for the meal was 1490. Lobster tails have about 90 calories each, so the linguine and dressing was about 1290. Ouch!!! Not a heart healthy meal! The server was very nice and got a nice tip, so the total was about $ 40.00 Again ouch! I am off Red Lobster for life.
