We’ve been wanting to try this place and waited until the newness has settled down. We came in for dinner last night around 6, only 2 other tables were seated. We started with salads as they were out of soup. It was just romaine lettuce, but they dressed it up with shredded carrots, beets, alfalfa sprouts and some cruetons. I’d like to see them use a nicer leaf mix. I also had an Long Island Ice Tea the flavor was there but sadly the alcohol content was not., at all. I had their lemon chicken which came with scalloped potatoes and broccolini. This was very delicious. The chicken was fried in a lemon butter sauce was very moist. The scalloped potatoes were outstanding. My husband had the Rib Eye Steak. It was well aged, tender and tasted great. Our server Adrienel was very nice and informative. We’ll be back to try other things on the menu.

First time here. Had a tri tip dinner that was excellent. The service was outstanding as well. Hard to find sometimes in Salinas. Can’t wait to try the breakfast menu. I have a thing for oatmeal and fruit. Yum.

The waiter explained they were still in their soft opening and it showed. I think they haven’t decided what kind of restaurant to be yet. They don’t offer their sandwiches at dinner so if you want it casual you can do the burrito bar. Or choose from the dinner menu which was basically steak or pasta dishes. The steak with mushrooms was good but the scalloped potatoes were heavy and flavorless. The soup was ok but lukewarm. The salad selections are all very busy but they created a simple dinner salad for us from the burrito bar which was great. That kind of service saved them a star because the food was mediocre at best. I would give them a little more time and another chance. Particularly once warmer weather comes. Their outside seating looked fun and fabulous.

The ribeye is to die for. I’m not really a salad person, but the dinner salad was fabulous! I will definitely be back!

I was thrilled when they opened but they need to change a few things. Our waitress was crazy, she messed up our orders at least 10 times(forgetting what we ordered, bringing us wrong drinks, and wrong food); my father NEVER got what he ordered. The Waitress told us all about her life’s story leaving out NO detail, she was nice but it made for a very odd experience being told by your server all about life’s troubles, god, death, and the afterlife; not the best dinner conversations. The food was ok but not great. They have a weird set up with a sit down restaurant and a walk up burrito bar. Patio is very nice. I keep saying I’d go back but I keep thinking how uncomfortable the waitress made us all feel and then we go somewhere else.

We were a little skeptical because the place was completely empty on a Friday dinner time. I don’t understand why they weren’t full. The food was fabulous. I had the best Calamari steak I’ve ever had. My friend had Chicken Linguini Alfredo and practically licked the bowl. I can’t comment on the service as we had the full attention of the waitstaff. I’ll, definitely, go back! More people need to try it!

This a great place to relax and eat a great meal. The staff is super friendly and are very attentive. The food is fresh and is one of the best restaurants in the area by far… It’s a new restaurant and not many people know it’s here, so don’t be worried if the restaurant isn’t busy, it’s definitely worth a try !!!

The thing that really threw me off right away was the music. It’s weird when the music is a radio station. I don’t want to be enjoying my dinner while listening to a commercial for hemorrhoid cream. Awkward! Plus it was country music. The menu appears to be a mix of Italian, American, and Mexican. I could deal with country music in a BBQ Place but it didn’t fit in with the motif here. It was a little weird. Our server was nice but talked way too much. It felt like he was trying to hard. Green bean appetizer was ok. Dubbers is better though with their green bean appetizer. These didn’t have enough flavor in the batter. Salad and soup. Soup tasted like cafeteria soup. Nothing special. Salad was typical. Dressing was served on side which is nice. Our meal took longer than usual. Server was apologetic but shared way TMI for why. A simple sorry would have been fine. I don’t need to feel like the party they were catering is important that my meal. My pesto pasta was very different but very good. I really liked it. Steak flavoring and veggies were good. So the food made up for other lacking areas. I might give this place a try again but only give it a chance at lunch time. Also. They don’t have a full bar yet. We got a long story about that too. We get it. The place is new. They’re working on license.

Overall the place was good. Server was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Drinks were yummy. We were disappointed that they didn’t have appetizers. How do you not have appetizers? I got the Carnitas Avocado sandwich, which came with not much in the way of carnitas and no avocado. The ciabatta bread was very tasty though, and steak fries were amazing. Husband got the steak sandwich and he liked his, too. Both sandwiches had a huge bite of fat in them, which seriously could have choked somebody… like, could have killed somebody. It’s a good start… their menu is sparse and they have some improvements to make, but just a few tweaks and they could be great.

This restaurant is trying hard. But the inexperienced servers, the incoherent menu, and the lack of attention to creating a good dining experience make it really a waste of your hard-earned money. We stopped by here with the kids on our way through town. Our server handed us two beat-up sheets of paper saying that they had run out of new menus and these were old menus. The taco/burrito bar options were not on the menu but we were told that we could order off the separate menu board. We ordered wine with our meal and it took FOREVER for the bottle to show up. Then the server failed to take the foil off the bottle. He just popped the cork out right through the foil, leaving jagged edges sticking up around the opening. While we were waiting(a long time) for our meals, we had to endure listening to a radio station *with advertisements* playing loudly over the speakers. Seriously, folks, how hard is it to just program an ad-free Pandora or Spotify station? At one point all three of the waitstaff were behind the burrito bar preparing food, instead of taking care of their waiting customers or maybe bringing them the wine they ordered. Weird choice of priorities. The ribeye steak came out covered with mushrooms, which was not mentioned on the menu at all. Hubby *hates* mushrooms and this really pushed him over the edge into a rather unhappy meal. I’m sure there are better places in Salinas to spend a couple of hours on a Friday night. We certainly will not be back.

I decided to do a Unilocal check before choosing a place to eat breakfast place this morning… I am so glad did! My first impression came from the sign at the entrance… The artwork and design is awesome! I know that sounds like a silly thing to point out but signage can really make a place stand out. The menu is simple but has enough variety to choose from… I chose a breakfast burrito and I am so glad I did. The flavored were amazing … By far it was one of the best breakfast burritos I have ever had. I will be returning to try the lunch and dinner menu. Lastly, I wish I would have asked for our servers name, she was awesome. Her demeanor is perfect for serving. She was very helpful and on point with checking on us. What a great hire for this new place. Overall… I would recommend that you try this place and see what you think.

I had lunch here yesterday. There were 4 in our party. Our first visit, we were confused about the menu. There are apparently«chipotle» items on a menu board(which depending on your location-you may or may not see them), but are definitely not noted on the menu. We waited a very long time(30 minutes-and the restaurant was practically empty) for our meals. Two of them arrived at least 5 minutes before the other two. It makes for an awkward lunch when half of the party is served, but politely wait for their companions to receive their food. When it finally did arrive, the order was wrong so even though everyone had waited to begin our meal we were forced another delay. The consensus of the group was that the service was very slow(not great for diners who have to get back to work), and the food was just«okay».

I can not begin to express my excitement for a new restaurant and its 2 doors down from my place of business. My eyes were bigger than my stomach, I wanted one of everything. I went with the tropical chicken salad and chicken noodle soup. Oh my yummy was it De-lish! It didn’t even need dressing, it was so fresh and exploding with flavor. I rarely eat meat but this was cooked with the right amount of seasoning and thinly sliced. As a local business owner I always love to support my fellow business owners. Keep the community alive and shop local!
