Took forever, cut a lot more off than I asked, had to listen to a group of guys talk about«bitches» and parties the whole time

My mom went to college here almost, 20 years ago. She is still in cosmetology and is now teaching cosmetology. She loves her career! Great school! She resides in southern CA now.

I went there a couple of weeks ago to get a manicure and wax i was 5 min early to the appointment And i walked in tell the lady in the front desk i was there a few min early for my appointment and her response is do you see anybody here yet that can help you we dont open till 9 with an actitud i told her she had horible customer service skills and left ive never been talked to like that ive never felt so disrespected in my life. I will never ever go there again. She has been there for a very long time you would think she would know how to treat customers 1-*

so I went here to check out the cosmetology program and for the area this is the best school. The people were very nice and if you know around here you know that finding people who speak good English is hard to find. I had to wait for 10 min until the time for orientation. I was surprised at how old the place was. it was like a blast from the past 60s. it was not nasty which was good just extremely dated. the cost was a bit more than others but they make it convenient to start. only 2500 down rop can help with the cost if you qualify, and you can use the pell grant as well. the only thing i didn’t like was owing 7500 when your done. I want to graduate and get a job and buy a car… not spend 3 years paying 500 a month. overall if i had to choose from salinas-watsonville I would pick this place because the people were so nice! good job waynes… just please update the place a bit :) oh and total cost is just over 14 in case anyones wondering.

So this isn’t a review for Wayne’s(although this visit and treatment was far better than the last time) as it is about the way they are training in customer service and in particular, the stylist who did my hair, Gabriel. He was good at what he does and clearly he has been taught well but more than the hair trim he was good at asking questions and very concerned about getting it right. Either he knew I was«bad haircut menopause lady» or he is a very intuitive soul. He wanted to make sure the experience I had this time was as good as it could be. Thank you Gabriel, for the care and professionalism, thank you Moises, for remembering me and not shaming me and for making sure my hair was cut well and thank you Wayne’s for making some changes… for the good.

I went here as a customer for a simple haircut. Admittedly, my hair is pretty fine & sometimes difficult to get the blending right. But I wasn’t impressed. Pros: very inexpensive; extremely friendly stylists; convenient. Cons: the end result on my hair was not good, which honestly is THE most important factor here. The stylist realized something was wrong & had the professionalism to ask for help from one of the supervisors, who proceeded to do most of the rest of the work himself. But the end result was still uneven, too short in some areas, & not what I asked for.

Waynes! This is where it all started. The first time I ever picked up a pair of shears and started cutting hair. Even though This isn’t the nicest beauty school, I learned alot and have great memories here! If you want to be a hairstylist, this a good school
