The lady went to town on my rough feet with her pumice. The colors are cute I got a pedicure. Will go again.

Not even one star Dirty ! They do not sanitize their tools. My daughter had a mani and they used, dirty rusty tools. Then they used them on me for a pedi. I had gel polish on my toes and they had a hard time removing it. The lady put callous remover on my toe and I noticed she had nipped the skin. My toe was on fire and so in inflamed. Today I have a infection on my toe. I need to see a doctor.

Okay… so I came across this nail salon on Unilocal I thought it would be a good place to have a gel manicure since my previous one from a well-known nail salon had chipped on it’s 1st week(so disappointed) so I thought maybe a smaller less known salon would actually do a really good job… I called before hand asking how much a gel manicure was I could’ve sworn the man who answered the phone said it was $ 15 w gel polish so I’m driving over there thinking I had myself a good deal… I arrived at the salon it was empty and I was assisted right away, I asked for a gel mani & the lady told me it was $ 25… I was just like okaaaay I didn’t bother to say anything because I didn’t mind paying that price since it’s what I usually pay anyway I was just under the impression that it was $ 15. So the lady didn’t even bother to soak my nails so the gel polish could come right off instead she filed my nails until the gel polish was off, I’m pretty sure that the filing did some major damage, I’ve been to nail salons before & I’m not new to this gel removal process so I was thinking to myself wtf?! she filed my nails as if they were acrylics which I DIDNOTLIKE… the lady didn’t even shape my nails some are oval shaped & some squared… There aren’t many gel color options, and the nail polish I chose was running out you can tell it was a struggle to finish both hands. Gel polish is over my cuticles and onto my fingers… not a very good job she didn’t even bother to clean my nails up a bit!!! During my manicure I guess one of the lady’s friends show up w her two daughters & they’re just hovering over me while the nail tech tries to do my nails, not my idea of relaxing or appropriate. I didn’t even get a massage :( I decided to get a pedicure it would’ve been an A++ pedicure except for the nail polish was all over my toes, didn’t even bother to clean them up. Literally only put under a fan for 2 min and age said they were done. once I got inside my car I looked down and all the polish smudged :( The nail tech is such a nice lady good conversation, you can tell she is a genuinely nice woman. I would’ve kept coming back here but the sloppiness of the nail polish all over my fingers and toes is what ruined it for me… so sad.

Cathy you have no idea what you are talking about. Your mom took the cash out of the envelope where she was keeping the money from my sales. In fact she took more than the $ 20 I supposedly owed her. The envelope had a few hundred in it. I was the one who ended up with a loss. As far as the receipts you mentioned, they were left with your dad. All the purchases were accounted for. All the work I did was free. You are welcome by the way! Also I noticed one reviewer liked the«cute update» the salon received. Is she one of the ones your mom think stole products from the salon? The very least your parents could have done after all I did for them was say thank you. I never heard one«Thank you» from your mom or your dad for the countless hours I spent on MY time fixing up «your family salon». Also I think it’s unprofessional for your parents to blame their customers for my products that mysteriously disappeared. Accusing their customers behind their backs of stealing when they aren’t there to defend themselves doesn’t seem right to me. Do your parents realize that THEIR customers are the reason they even have a business? Do they realize their customers are the ones that provide them with an income to begin with? They should be grateful for their customers. Bad mouthing them as soon as they leave is not nice or very professional. Very indicative of your parents lack of morals and lack of respect for their customers. Please don’t accuse me of anything, ESPECIALLY when you have blocked me from responding! I did my duty as a consumer to review something based on a personal experience. The business side was left out in purpose because I had already cut my losses after realizing how shady and ungrateful your parents are. I reviewed your salon based SOLELY on my experience as a client. You, however, decided to launch a personal attack on me. So you want to hash it out? Are you sure you want to go there? I guarantee you that when I am done saying what I know it will look waaaayyyyy worse for you. When you say the tools are sterilized you are lying. They are not. I know this for a fact, your parents know it and even you might know it too. The only cleaning product at the salon was a bottle of WINDEX. That was one of the main reasons I didn’t want to be associated with the place anymore. You, however, want to lie about it. I understand how it would reflect baddly on your business if you admitted blatantly to violating all sorts of health codes. I get it. Denial works for you. So you respond to me with a lie and try to do some damage control. Tsk tsk, not cool. I also believe you can’t request customers to post positive reviews for your business. It’s in the Unilocal rules, look it up! Shame on you! But not all is lost! Despite getting lied to and stolen from I learned a lot from this experience. What I have learned is this: Don’t trust anyone. Even if look like an innocent little couple(ESPECIALLY if they look like an innocent little couple!) because they will take advantage of you. I also learned that at the end of the day a mediocre salon with mediocre service will be just that: mediocre. Regardless of the new paint on the wall. Also attacking me and then blocking me from responding is an unfair thing to do don’t you think? I can see that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, they are teaching you well. Have a nice day!

No frills salon. Vince and Tina mean business! They’ll get you in and out. If you’re looking for a spa like experience, go elsewhere. If you want a good job for cheap, come here. We’ve been here several times and they still remembers us! So I’m not sure why the other reviewer say they’re unprofessional. They are always pleasant. The salon received an update and looks so cute now. It’ll be our go to salon for cheap mani and pedi when we’re in town.
