3 starts because or waitress was friendly, my husband loved his grilled fish and the grilled chicken was delicious as usual but, the Mac and cheese was horrible! You could tell it had been microwaved, greasy apprentice and some bites where hot and some cold. The Mac and cheese is the best part so we were both disappointed. We went there for a late lunch around 3pm.

1st time in a very long time, have really been missing out! Naudia G is an excellent server & very pleasant. Had the chicken & dumplings, turnip greens, corn, pinto beans & the corn muffin. Talk about fully topped off. Everything was good, fast & hot. I definitely will be frequenting them more often!!!

We were on the road when we decided to stop in at the Cracker Barrel some time around 2:30 in the afternoon. We made the mistake of asking for another couple of minutes to decide what we wanted, because we then didn’t see out server for another 10 minutes. She had a large table and disappeared to see to them. Once we ordered and got our food, my steak fries were old and soft, but they still tasted good. Other than that, we had a good experience. Here’s an interesting twist to the visit… when we finished our meals, my wife and I headed for the restroom and I put the check in my pocket. When we came out, we got caught up looking at things, and before either of us realized it, we were driving down I-85. She looked at me and asked, «Did you pay with cash or a card?» I thought for a second and my eyes got wide and I exclaimed, «Oh sh*t! I forgot to PAY!!!» Well, we were an hour down the road by then, so… when we got home I called the store and told him what had happened. The manager was super nice and said not to worry about it, just to be sure to return in the future to give them more business. I told him I appreciated that but I would mail him a check for the meal and the tip(they couldn’t take a credit card over the phone for some reason), which is what I have done. So…that was our Cracker Barrel adventure…

Normally, these kind of stores have similar things, only popular and basic country styles. I have found this store very tasty, both for apparel and food. The parfait was really nice!

I was tired from a long day and hungry for their Trout dinner. From the moment I walked in the door everyone was so pleasant and their cheerfulness and kindness gave me a boost of energy! I placed an order to go so I could ho back to my hotel and eat while wearing Hello Kitty PJs in comfort and relax. The server, William, was awesome! Knowing I was placing a to-go order he asked if Eating utensils. NOBODY ever bothered to ask that before snd Ive gotten back to a hotel with my only options for feeding myself were using fingers(ewww) or the stirring straw in the coffee condiment package! When William brought out my order he mentioned that he threw in jelly/honey for the biscuits(another first) and extra napkins. This young man was courteous and thoughtful and Cracker Barrel is very fortunate to have someone representing their restaurant so well! Kudos William!!!

It’s Cracker Barrel you know what you are getting they are all the same. Typically not as crowded as some other cracker barrels but this is in odd location tucked away in a corner.

Breakfast on the road, why not stop at the Cracker Barrel? I really can’t complain — it’s inexpensive, they are good at what it is and it’s easy to get right back onto the highway. I don’t know of a single CB that I’ve visited that wasn’t really all of those things. I had the Uncle Hershel with two eggs over well, the hash brown casserole and a pork chop. I find that their bacon and sausages are way too salty but this is just right. Biscuits were good too! I wasn’t in a grits mood today. Maybe next time!

Good catfish with pecans. Sunday special chicken was gobbled up by my pickie kid. Butter milk chicken my husband had was so-so. Food out fast and waitress was nice and attentive. Will always do Cracker Barrel when I have the option on a road trip.

Day after day we went here for breakfast even though I had FREE breakfast at the hotel. A very special shout out to «LUCKY» who was our waitress every day, but one! She was an amazing person — remembering our orders as if we’d been going there for years. Every morning when we walked in — it was if we were going to see our friends or something. Very nice! The food was always served how we ordered it and Lucky always seemed to put that that extra little touch on things. Leaving this morning was like saying good-bye to a friend and I would NEVER hesitate to return. The place is clean, interestingly decorated and offers a lot of unique items for sale. The only reason this place isn’t getting 5 stars is because my first breakfast had the most salty ham I’ve ever had. BTW — I bought a UNC hat on clearance!
