They have whoopie pie pieces! That was my original tip, and I still stand by it as the best part of Swirl it Up. I’m not 100% sure if this is a chain or not since I’ve never seen another one, and they have a fairly«provincial» look to the inside. I liked it, and I wanted to give it 4 stars, but I just didn’t think that it was all that crazy good. The flavors were your standard fare, and they had the usual smattering of toppings, the only one that was out of the ordinary were the Whoopie Pie pieces, which went great with my froyo. I will go back in if I’m in the area, but won’t make the drive all the way up just for the froyo.

Since I gave sweet frog 4 stars I have to give this place 5! We went here for the first time the other night. My husband kept saying it will be hard to beat sweet frog but the minutes we walked in we were awed! Inside is very modern and colorful very similar to the other place. The option of flavors was great but the two things that put this place over the top is the toppings, ha! Soooo many options, clean, well mantained and beautiful. So many more choices of fresh fruit and different cookies and candies. The staff was out of there way friendly and welcoming. The best thing about Swirl it up is the fact that if you purchase 8oz or more of yogurt they give you a gum ball to vote for your choice of three local non-profits and the one that has the most votes gets $ 1000! Way to keep it local!

Sweet Frog has stiff competition in this place! Swirl It Up is a frozen yogurt bar. It’s located in the same strip mall as Food Lion, near Tinseltown, in Salisbury. Their décor is on point. I’m telling you, it’s so colorful and pretty, and the tables look like pieces of candy. The flavors and add-ins are pretty normal for a froze yogurt place, but the staff is friendly and welcoming. They also have a charity race where you place a gumball in a plastic tube, and whichever one fills up first will get $ 1000 from Swirl It Up. It’s a nice local place, and a good alternative to a chain like Sweet Frog if you like buying local. It’s a great place to pop in to before or after a movie :)
