You can get all the culinary goods and provisions you need. Not cheap though, but rather convenient. It is fun to hear the staff talk about all the tourist-celebrities that come through the doors and who throws hissy-fits if the wrong corn chips are in stock. Personally, I thought there was an excellent selection of corn chips.

How many times have I bought a bag of Utz potato chips, frozen mac & cheese and /or burritos, and iced tea from this place between 2006 — 2008. I may have kept them solely in business with my lunch purchases from my old job! LaBonne’s has been around for decades(some of my relatives still refer to it by it’s former moniker, Shagroy’s), and it’s your basic small town grocery store that caters to both the locals and the New Yorkers. It really has everything you need and relatively good prices. I must commend their meat department and butchers as well; every Christmas and Thanksgiving, my family goes there and leaves satisfied. They really know their meat!(Okay, a bit cheesy, but a true statement.) This place is a relic of my childhood, and I still love going. Also, I’ve seen Jane Curtain shop in there enough. If THAT doesn’t persuade you…

My go-to supermarket in the area. Just a nice little supermarket with a few high-end things here and there.

Awesome grocer, you get every benefit from shopping at a local market. The cuts of meat are great.

This place is neighborhood, in a trendy, east coast, escaping from Manhattan for the weekend sort of way. You can find your every day necessities along with a nice supply of fresh seafood, local produce and specialty foods. So when you’re going out to Connecticut to spend the weekend at the country house and need to pick up culinary supplies for a brunch with friends or a good olé BBQ, you’ll find what you need right here.
