If anyone reading this is as picky as I am then this will be for you.
This place has all the things I look for when researching campgrounds.
1.) beach front that is sandy, shallow for kids
2.) multiple pools for different age groups and a decent temp your body can get used too even if slightly cool
3.) large mature trees campground
4.) huge list of things everyday for kids to do
5.) the store!!! NOTHING AND U MEAN NOTHING IS OVER PRICED. This was a pleasant surprise. They do not Mark up any of the prices.
6.) some paved roads for kids to ride bikes
7.) decent playground
8.) AFFORDABLE!!!

I’ve stayed at Kampersville twice now. Parked in the perfect location next to Lake Dunmore, there’s a great handful activities for the family to take advantage of! During my stay, I was able to enjoy a friendly game of bingo, a dance party at night, and of course a nice cozy fire to roast some marshmallows. The people and staff were super friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this camping destination, especially around fall time. The sights around the area are nothing short of amazing!
