No longer in service, a gentleman inside said it’s closed and will open in future to serve Caribbean food. Will try when that time comes… Looks like cellphone shop still in there though.

Came in for my second time this week and I must say that this is hands down the best chicken I’ve ever had, just talked to the owner and they even do catering orders. Also they have a 100 percent halal menu. I know where ill be getting my food for our parties.

We decided to try this place out. When you walk in, the first thing I noticed that the restaurant also doubles as a cheap wireless store. Very impressive graphics on the menus, very easy to read. I ordered a double burger, my partner ordered fried chicken. When I placed my order, I was told that they were out of paper for their receipt printer and I could have my receipt e-mailed or SMS’ed to me(I smell a spammer here.). The soda fountain is Pepsi. It was about $ 2 for a large drink and then there was a huge sign on the fountain, «refills 75¢». The Diet Pepsi was not mixed correctly so it did taste like cough syrup. All napkins, straws, salt and pepper(packets) were behind the counter. There were a few unidentified bottles on the condiment table next to the soda fountains. I eventually found out one of them was ketchup. The poor guy behind the counter was overworked. It took about 5 minutes just to get him to take a few seconds to get us napkins and other items that in most restaurants are out in the open but in this restaurant was kept behind the counter. Before we walked in, we were greeted by this older Russian man who told us this place«had the best fried chicken» and that we could«forget about KFC». This guy sat down at a table near us and gave us stares most of the time. I then saw him go back behind the counter. I am assuming he was the owner.(Why wasn’t he back there helping his counter person while the restaurant was getting hit?) The fried chicken was overcooked. We did not finish the mashed potato and gravy. My burger was so-so. The fries were shoestring and were nothing to write home about. I hate restaurants like this where they give the impression that they do not trust their customer. This is evident by the placement of most of the condiments behind the counter, a lack of trays and the 75¢ refills on drinks. Of course with the wireless shop and them badgering you for your e-mail address or wireless phone number gives me that eerie feeling like they are trying to monetize each customer as much as possible while destroying the customer experience. This restaurant is not customer focused at all. Definitely not going back.
