Could not agree more with Ashley and «Outdoor»
My cousin and I lived in the second floor of this apartment and each week my cousin would be emailing Lilian in regards to the problems that were experienced in the apartment. There was so much leaks in the apartment itself. I remember during winter waking up to drops coming down onto my face from the ceiling. After months of complaining, Lilian had finally set out a roofer and had «patched» those holes on the roof. Within the same week, leeks would still drop onto our furniture which damaged some of our furniture. then Lilian exclaims that it’s due to «condensation» so she ordered a dehumidifier for our apartment and we had to constantly have it on which was really loud. Even the handyman states that this apartment was poorly constructed and also stated the owner is too damn cheap to fix the apartments or make them better since they are still new. WTF, you serious? If you are going to invest in something, make sure you take care of your tenants. The apartments do look great and has that modern feeling to it, but it is overpriced for what it is especially with the problems. Parking here sucks! My cousin and I tried to get another parking spot since we had noticed some neighbors had two and Lilian did not even grant us our request for obtaining another parking spot. I hate how this apartment does not have enough parking spots because Dodo customers or Paint Mixer customers take all the spots which made it really inconvenient for me to park, each night after coming home from work I would have to park down the street and before or after 10PM, I would walk down the street and park my car in front of paint mixer (when the customers have finally left)
But yes, the walls seem pretty thick and solid but we can still hear next door neighbors in what they do. There was this one night when I was sleeping in the living room with the TV on and heard my next door neighbor moaning and having sex next door which was pretty disgusting and sick.
Those blinds or window covering or whatever they’re called that came with the apartment suck! during the evening time, if the light inside is on, people outside that walk by your apartment can totally see inside your apartment.
My cousin and I automatically did not renew our contract and gave our two months notice to Lilian in Feb 2014, once Lilian had found out that we weren’t renewing, I soon notice a sign in front of the apartments stating there are rooms available. And there was a couple times when Lilian would call my cousin to see if she can go inside our apartment to show it off to future tenants. Uhm, you serious? I would totally understand if we had owned the apartment and was looking to sell it to future owners, but we’re renters and she has no right to interrogate us to show the apartment off while we were still occupying it.
To be honest, I would give this place a zero star but Unilocal does not have that action, so I would give it ONE star for it LOOKING nice and dog friendly.

Could not agree MORE with the other review.
1. I can hear EVERYTHING my neighbors are up to, talking about or yelling about, if they sneeze or even drop a fork. It is obnoxious; however, also I feel like I cannot talk in my apartment comfortably due to this.
2. We can smell what our neighbors are cooking for dinner. This gets annoying as the smells seem to stay in these apartments.
3. Property MGMT is a joke. First, they never call back if you leave a message. I called about a parking spot and they never called back. When we put in our notice and said we would leave ASAP, they played dumb the next time we called to ask if there was anyone interested. They have horrible office hours and never seem to answer the line. You cannot pay your rent without putting a postage stamp on a check and mailing it– even though they could easily install a box near the mailboxes.
4. You have to pay for parking. Also the annoying and always packed Dodo crowd and paint mixer people take up all the extra guest spots every night. Also dodo customers will park in the assigned spots. Even though there is a sign that says the apt complex will tow, they recently got rid of that service. So now, you, the resident has to call a tow company.
5. The roof leaks. The doors leak. The sink is loose. The dishwasher is a joke.
6. The window coverings you can see right through at night. No privacy. Also no darkness as they are white– for a person that works night shifts, this is miserable.
I cannot wait to move out and I cannot believe they are raising the rent.
One a positive note– the people that live here are wonderful and the location is fantastic but thats is about it.

Beautiful high end modern apartment building. Awesome management (Lillian) and of course, the perfect location right across from Sugarhouse Park!
Highly recommend!
