Easily one of the best burgers around, a sit-down restaurant or fast-food. The Athenian Burger is a clear winner when it comes to Burgers. Also the desserts are different and awesome, The Baklava is excellent! Food is always fresh and whichever restaurant you visit Apollo Burger is outstanding. Clear winner for burgers and you should visit you get a chance.

Ok two lunches in Salt Lake City and wow. This restaurant is above most with quality and quantity. Lunch time getting hammered with people and they kept up very well. I had the golden burger with fries, it was incredible! ! One burger patty, pestrami, tomato, and lettuce. Flavor was great with a butter toasted bread and a fry sauce on the sandwich. Parking was easy and the drive-thru was packed, service was very friendly and did not rush me when I asked about the food options. The resteraunt was very clean and modern. Come hungry!

The Chicken Souvlaki is absolutely amazing. I’ve had it at high end restaurants many times and this was just as good or better, and only $ 12. 100% recommend. I do wish they would add a nice tzatziki sauce to their menu.

Used to love this place, right near work so we go from time to time. They changed their fries and they are soft and nasty now. I can’t even gag one down, very disappointed. Please change back, it was one of your trademarks. And now it’s just gross.

For the price! It’s a great place! They cook the food in front of you and always seems fresh! I go for breakfast when I travel in town! The gyro meat is flavorful. I much rather this place over McDonalds or other fast food! Seems they have good quality for a good price.

I love their food, the facility is clean, well kept & their employees are very polite! My favorite is the«tangy bleu burger»… I think that’s what it’s called… & their gyros! delish!!!

Addicted to their fried mushrooms and zucchini(it’s made fresh), everything else is «meh». Don’t forget to dip your food in fry sauce!

In the world of fast-food burger joints, this place is awesome! Everything is cooked fresh to order and I’ve yet to be disappointed with the freshness or quality of their food. Their fries are always hot and probably my favorite fries ever! Not to mention, they have traditional Utah fry sauce! Why anyone would go to one of those national burger chains when you can get all this for a few bucks more, is beyond me. Their meat is frozen and their buns are mass-produced, but come on — it’s fast food. If I were served this at a sit-down burger restaurant I would probably give it a 3 star review.

Hate this location. The customer service is horrid. You can never understand the person who is taking your order and they can never understand you. They are way slow, not because they’re busy either. By the time I pay for the food I feel like I’m an nuisance. Once in a great while you would get the positive experience and the tasty food. This time it was the worst experience and I won’t be going back. My husband and I got the portobello Swiss burger. The mushroom was completely raw. The hamburger was not cooked all the way in the middle. My daughter ordered a regular cheese burger and it was cooked, there was pink(it wasn’t like it was raw). The point is, whole experience was overall disappointing and it was a waste of money. Love Apollo, hate this location.

I go to this one because it’s super close to where I live. I like Apollo Burger but not this location. They are always so slow and it takes forever to get my food. My order has been wrong numerous times, depending on who is working the drive thru. Some of the employees are really nice but others are not. Love the food but not so much this place.

Meh, hit up a Crown Burger, Five Guys or Habit Grill. All of which ate superior to Apollo. Burger was ok, fries over seasoned. Drive by Apollo, don’t Drive Thru.

First time here and got an order to go towards the end of the night, it had to be one of the worst hamburgers I have ever had in my life. Got the Apollo Burger and the hamburger was overcooked and like a rock, the pastrami was mostly fat, the lettuce a brown wilted mess and the fries where nothing but a soggy glob. Not sure what happened as past reviews made it sound like a nice place.

They advertise breakfast served until 11 am. I drive out of my way and show up at 10:40 am and they turn me away stating they are no longer serving breakfast for the day. I called and spoke to the manager who told me they stop serving breakfast so they can start cooking for lunch. Why advertise breakfast is served until 11 am if you aren’t going to follow through with it? Poor business practice and false advertising. You won’t see me at this location anymore. McDonalds has even served breakfast when I have shown up 5 minutes before they stop.

After so many good Apollo burgers in the past, I couldn’t let my last visit be my final memory of this chain. I went back. I let out a sigh of relief when they served me a BC Combo that restored what had become a tainted reputation. Whew.

More proof that you can’t judge a book by its cover. Nice, new looking building. Cool looking waterfall on the inside. However, I ordered rice pudding. Informed me after the purchase that they were out of rice pudding. Ordered a burger with a wheat bun. Found out they were out of wheat buns. The fry sauce dispenser was broken. The fries were nasty relative to other Apollo Burgers I’ve been to. Much softer. The ice cream shake placards on the table say, «Check out all the flavors including chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and more.» Upon inquiring, found out they have no more ice cream flavors other than chocolate strawberry, and vanilla. Won’t ever come here again.

Apollo Burger was good; I’ve never had a burger like this before. Fries were nothing special and didn’t hold up well for takeout. One star off for not taking Amex(a pet peeve of mine).

The food is ok. Not superb but not awful. The building is newer and a modern design. Although the artwork was at least for me distracting because literally every wall hanging is crooked! My order totaled just over $ 9 and the cashier accidentally charged my card $ 99. They did however promptly refund me. The owner is a very nice guy.

This place has some very interesting burger combinations — I decided to be adventurous and try the Golden Burger — I can’t remember all that was on it but I remember two different kinds of cheese and pastrami on sourdough bread. AND it was very tasty. I made the mistake of ordering it as a combo. This is not to say that the fries were not good — they were. However the burger was huge and I barely had room for the fries! Plus another good thing were the prices — for what you get they are reasonable.

Was filling up my rental car before I dropped it off at the airport and I was not feeling like paying $ 30 for food at the airport. Almost stopped at Taco Bell(GASP!!!) when off in the distance I saw Apollo Burger. Walked in and was impressed with the cleanliness and modern feel. This is a high class drive thru fast food restaurant. Ordered the Apollo Burger. It is a standard ¼ patty(pre formed) on a nice artisan bun with a heaping of pastrami. The fixins include American Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, White onion and a mustardy sauce. The patty was overwhelmed by the pastrami and maybe that is why they go pre form. A solid burger that I would have no problem getting again.

Top three reasons: 1. Brand new building with ample space and modern atmosphere. 2. Staff is very helpful and anticipates my order 3. Mmm, mmm, mmm… Chicken. Souvlaki. Platter. This is the best Apollo Burger in SLC. Their cascading waterfall in the lobby relaxes me and whisks me away to a land of culinary delights. Being a frequent visitor this winter, I had to find menu items beside their stellar burgers & fries so I wouldn’t balloon up past 400 lbs. I found a veritable Xanadu in the Chicken Souvlaki Platter. Picture this: Not one but TWO fire-grilled chicken skewers so juicy & succulent, seasoned with Greek spices. Crisp, green salad with ample tomatoes, cucumbers & cheese. Piping-hot rice pilaf, golden as the afternoon sparkle on a mountain lake. Quartered pita, crispy on the out, soft on the in, complementing each delectable bite. And hey, why not throw in a frosty beverage all for the low, low price of under 10 bucks? They sold me. Upon every visit, I was like a kid at X-mas, quickly wolfing that pilaf like my ship was going down. It always kept my bones warm on those cold, cold February nights. The staff here is worth their salt as well. It wasn’t long before they knew that I was obviously gonna order the platter in question and that I didn’t want cukes or cheese on my salad. I was flattered and felt like the lightning god Apollo himself. Apollo Burger is always a safe bet for burgers but if you’re out by the airport, look these guys up and try the Chicken Souvlaki Platter. For extra special service, tell ‘em that the Dough Hook sent ya. They’ll treat you right.
