Blaque Salt Studio

I came here because my fav Randy started working at this studio. It’s such a lovely place, and the privacy of the studio makes it much more comfortable than any other tattoo shop I’ve been to. As always, Randy was an absolute delight. She has the best attitude, and the other tattooists were wonderful as well. Everyone here is incredibly talented! But if you’re looking to get a super cute or illustrative tattoo, definitely go to Randy! You won’t regret it.

I have had many tattoos, and great experiences all over this valley. However, Blaque Salt and the artists there truly take the cake. I’ll start with Will, since he is the first one who did work on me. He did my entire upper arm and it’s one of the most detailed and beautiful pieces I have. He was on time, kind, honest and thorough. The second time I went to Blaque Salt, I had Kasey Roy work on me. She custom designed a gorgeous shadow mere horse for my calf. I’ve been in twice for work with her, and my piece is incredible. Her work is impeccable and she was very sweet and easy to work with. She was on time, and I’m excited to go in again to have my piece finished.
If I could give this studio more than five stars I would. It’s clean, beautifully decorated and its private, which I love. No randoms walking in off the street to stare at you while you sit there half naked. All the artists here are so professional. I’m actually blown away by the one persons negative review. I guess kindness, artistry and professionalism isn’t for everyone.

I’ve had 2 pieces done by Kasey, and she’s touched up/​fixed a tattoo for me from a previous artist. I am in love with her work! I have known Kasey most of my life, and she’s always been an amazing artist, in all mediums! Very thorough consults, as a fellow artist, I love that. She is very honest and upfront. She makes sure her work is always aesthetically pleasing, still while giving you what you want. Which are traits I value! I also love the studio and its’ atmosphere. Always a great experience.

Blaque Salt Studio has talented artists, but their service is horrible.
I got an arm piece done by Kasey and she was fairly rude…
Very biased with her clients and lies about her pricing. My last session was only two hours but she charged me for a full session. Even though she stated that she only charges hourly if it’s less than a full seasion, which is 4 to 5 hours.
I thought it was just me that she didn’t like, so I referred my friends over to her since she did a good job. My friends went and they didn’t have a great experience either. Kasey forgot about their appointments and canceled on them on multiple occasions.
I personally become a loyal customer based on customer service, and they didn’t deliver on that aspect. So yeah… Me no gusta…

I will never, ever go anywhere else for a tattoo. Kasey Roy is amazing, and I’ve gotten so many compliments from my tattoo. I’m stopped by strangers that are asking where I got my piece done. She drew up an amazing piece just for me, and I’m blown away by the work. Can’t wait to finish it!

All of my ink was done by Will. He is great to work with and the shop atmosphere is funny and enjoyable. I highly recommend spending 4 hours at a time getting amazing art tattooed on your body. Will has a impressive ability at photo realism as well as black and grey that will make your jaw drop. Great people to get to know and experience their talent first hand.

I just wanted to add that people are borderline rude about seeing my sleeve because it’s becoming so unique and beautiful. I get stopped in the street and I can’t go to a bar or a coffee shop without getting compliments and «ooohs and ahhhhhs». So if you don’t like attention from strangers, don’t get tattooed by Will. His work is just that good — and award winning I might point out. 1^st place for black and grey at the 2014 SLC tattoo convention.

I love the private studio, no annoying customers coming in and bothering the artist or gawking at you. The studio has great atmosphere, quiet and creative. Will is an amazing artist! You will not be disappointed.
