I just ate here during the Young Living convention. The line was out the door and around the building. Once I ordered, my food came very quickly, my entire groups order was correct and the waitstaff was excellent! Very attentive. The coconut curry chicken was fantastic! The hummus was warm and delicious, so fresh tasting. It is about 100 degrees outside and the staff were handing out ice waters to all the people in line. That’s just unheard of customer service these days. I’m very impressed and highly recommend this place. Great service, great food!

I was really excited to go here, such a quaint spot right on the square. So disappointed in my strawberry crêpe, which didn’t look like the photo and only had one strawberry. Apparently strawberries are scarce there! Coffee was okay, the wait staff seemed in a hurry and wasn’t interested in their clientele.

Fast fresh family-friendly food! We loved the artistic representation of the dishes. Prices were just right. Can’t wait to go there again!

I came here with some friends and got the mango mint chicken salad. The mangos gave the salad a nice little tang and the avocados were refreshing. The chicken was perfectly chopped and it was just the perfect amount for each bite. The homemade mint vinaigrette also threw the entire salad together very well. The person I ordered with also recommended the corn chowder soup. It had a creamy texture that wasn’t too rich and the sweetness of the corn really added to the taste.

This place is OK. Good food that will fill you up, but nothing really special. I do very much enjoy the cute, colorful décor on the inside! Seems like a good place for a casual family meal, or somewhere to stop for lunch if you’re shopping at the City Creek Mall.

Solid 3. Never had anything I disliked from Blue Lemon. Good option if you’re at City Creek and don’t want to eat at the food court. Braised beef burrito is pretty good. Wish it came with a side of rice and beans.

Ordered the sesame seared ahi tuna, bf ordered the black and blue burger, both of which were overpriced and down right gross. The food here is overpriced, bland and completely boring. No alcohol either. Two thumbs down. I hate this place and I will not be coming back at my own will. On a side note, it gets pretty busy here and I can only assume that it’s for the fast service. Overall, again, terrible experience. Would not recommend.

Blue lemon, who would want to come eat at this rotten lemon joint? Ordered the black and blue burger for starters, the burger was drier than a widowed grandma that hasn’t had excitement for decades. I ordered a side salad for an additional 1.50, worst investment I’ve ever spent. the salad was served with a cream sauce, At first glance, I thought to myself, if it’s served with this salad, it must go on it– wrong! think again. tasted like rotten garbage that have been decaying for 3 years in an elephant butthole. I would rather find a snail and use snail slime as salad dressing than to use that dressing again. my burger came with a side of potatoes– at first glance I thought it was a mushroom in my potatoes but I thought to myself why would they give me a random mushroom in this cup of potatoes? upon further investigation, it was definitely not a mushroom– it was a burnt potato We also ordered seared ahi tuna, which wasn’t even seared and the rice it was served with tasted like mooshed up baby food. why is my rice soggy??? Price was over priced, Food was over rated, Restaurant was mediocre at best. If blue lemon existed in Southeast Asia, you would need to sell your first born son to afford a meal at blue lemon.

Blue Lemon is one of my all time favorite lunch spots in SLC. My go to order is the Balsamic Chicken Panini and a side of tomato soup. I ALWAYS walk away super satisfied. The balsamic and aioli join together in holy matrimony and bring forth the most glorious food baby this land has ever seen!!! Nom nom nom. I decided to switch it up today and ordered the Short Rib Grilled cheese with a side of soup… Still good, but nothing compares to my go-to order. BLUELEMONFORPRESIDENT!

If you like really bland food, this is the place for you. The fish tacos were so bland the corn tortilla had more flavor than the«fiery» fish.

I’ve been to several Blue Lemon locations and they have been fairly consistent in quality and offerings. The one at City Creek is naturally more crowded. I’ve never been disappointed in the food. I feel that its consistently good and they have a very wide variety of options so this is a good place to visit in a group, with children, or with picky eaters. I like their fish tacos, sweet potato fries, and their salmon. The food is great and I would give it four or five stars but I always have a little anxiety stepping into a Blue Lemon. I feel that the semi-cafeteria style system is really confusing. Though I’ve been here several times I always forget where I’m supposed to order and whether they deliver food at the counter or bring it to your table. They have a line for dessert orders and a separate one for ordering a meal. I am always looking for my own silverware — and I look like an idiot because they actually bring it to you with your meal. You get your own drink so it seems logical to pick up utensils and condiments by the drink station. And what do you do with your dishes when you’re finished eating? It feels like you should clear your own table like a cafeteria but I think they clear it for you. Its as if they try to combine a casual dining place like a Chipolte or Zupas with a sit down café and it doesn’t work for me. They do have very good service which compensates for the confusing layout.

Cute little restaurant with lots of seating. Friendly and helpful staff let us taste the soup before we purchased. Tomato bisque was delicious as was the butternut squash. No one in our group was a big pea fan so we opted not to try the cream of pea which was the soup of the week Good sized salads with decent choices. Sandwiches looked good also but I didn’t try one of those. Focaccia bread was eh. Nothing to write home about. They had some bottled drinks by Dry which included a vanilla bean, lavender or blood orange sparkling.

Great place for lunch in the middle of busy City Creek. Exceptional food. I had the coconut curry chicken(a filet on top of rice and asparagus with a tasty curry) alongside a balsamic pear salad(pears, carrots, grapes, bacon, and blue cheese on top of spinach with a balsamic dressing). Service was superb. I received my order before even sitting down. My one issue is that manager’s food was cold when it arrived to our table.

I have tried Blue Lemon before and thought it was just ok… but my family and I decided to try it again today and we enjoyed it! My husband got the short ribs and I got the chicken pesto flat bread and we got some sweet potato fries for the table. Both meals were delicious, portions were great, and it all came out pretty quick too! My daughter got a little kids meal and I was jealous of it, the mac & cheese was yummy and they gave her a little side of apples with almond butter. It was a little pricey for lunch but I think you get what you pay for.

SANDY, UT: I’m a little surprised at the un-stellar star ratings of this micro-chain. The two menu items of which I partook, plus the fast, friendly service and great presentation made this a solid five-star experience. The open air dining area, bright, clean colors and innovative recipes were all well received. I tried two items, both were very good: 1. Butternut Squash Soup(5 stars): This soup was outstanding! I love squash and order butternut squash soup and ravioli regularly on my travels. Nevertheless, very few match the taste of squash grown at home, and occasionally have a sour taste. This one was different though, having almost a pumpkin/squash hybrid taste with what seemed to be a slightly sweet pumpkin pie spice undertone. Wonderful! 2. Fish Tacos(4 stars): These were delicious, spicy and with an excellent remoulade/aioli. The fish/shrimp combination is grilled rather than fried and made for an excellent lunch.

Chicken curry was so yummy! However the asparagus and bell peppers were a little undercooked. All in all, I’ve had really good experiences here. It’s a great spot downtown for a quick and healthy lunch. Your not going to get a large amount of food on your plate, rather it is a health conscious proportion, but that is to be expected at all Blue Lemon locations. Ambiance and cleanliness are on par. Kudos for the extra effort with the Christmas tree and holiday decorations! The staff have been nothing but kind, courteous, and professional.

Not a big fan of Blue Lemon mostly because of the price. The food leaves something to be desired — not fully developed flavor, seasoning is bland, usually too greasy — and the upscale order then pay and sit type American food is not appealing to me. If I’m going to pay $ 17 for a piece of chicken and some potatoes, you better believe I’m going to be waited on. The only redeeming quality on this restaurant is the little coffee café place of to the side at the beginning of the line. Their coffee is great — of course, had an Americano — and shared a slice of cake with my husband. Wroth really enjoyed the coffee and dessert. I’d definitely go again to that joint, but I’m good off of the Blue Lemon ‘gourmet’.

Another wonderful visit to one of my downtown favorites. This time I tried the fish tacos which were superb! They’re a little messy because you have to build them yourself. I highly recommend this place!

Blue Lemon was recommended by a local. Ordering is cafeteria style but the food is brought to your table. There was a wonderful range of food choices, mostly healthy. When I’m back in downtown Salt Lake City for business, I’d come back here in a heartbeat.

If you live in Utah and haven’t heard someone(probably a young, hip mom) talk about Blue Lemon, do you even live in Utah? This place has appeal. It looks very modern and clean. The service is fast and polite. The food is pretty good. I’m not close to giving it a 5, because it’s not the best and I truly believe it could be better. But it’s good. I ordered the Coconut Chicken Curry, and a half of hummus. The curry was pretty amazing, but I’m always stuck wondering if it’s totally kosher to eat the pretty vegetables they julienne or is it just a plate decoration? Whatever. I ate it. No shame. I’ll eat all the plate decorations I don’t care. The hummus came with sliced carrots and cucumbers, and flat bread which was cold and sort of hard which bummed me out more than is probably healthy. My friend ordered the Turkey Avocado sandwich. The avocado mix on the sandwich was delicious. I’d definitely return if I was hankering for some fancy cut up vegetables and some Americanized curry, but it’s not that spectacular. I think the hip young mom’s are on to something, but this isn’t the best thing that’s ever happened to Utah.
