I know it is fast food, but even for fast food my experience was sub par. I arrived at the peak of lunch time and my burger was served luke warm and very dry. Staff was also cold and impatient. For a $ 10 combo I expect a lot better. Saving grace was that there is a salsa bar inside to add some ‘El diablo’ to your burger.

It’s not bad. I’ve been here a number of times and the staff are semi ok. Not completely professional, but it is fast food. Still, I think if they had some training they could really make this location better. It’s already been improving over the past years.

What is happening to this place? I love Carl’s turkey burgers so I keep hoping this place will surprise me with decent service. Nope no such luck. Every time the service is ridiculously slow, staff acts like they have no clue what is going on. I’m asked what kind of juice I want in my kids meal so I say apple, apparently they are out of juice so I say a chocolate milk. Pull up they give me a regular milk when I ask for the chocolate milk they are out of that too. The burgers look like my 2 year old made them. A tiny blob of ketchup with ten pickles all stuck in a pile on the edge with about 20 onions. Looks like it’s been sitting for an hour. I’ve been over charged multiple times, left without entire meals, waited in the lobby over 15 minutes for a kids meal. Sadly this Carl’s Jr will no longer get my business. I forsee it getting shut down. Get some new management in this place quick or close it your giving Carl’s jr a horrible reputation running it the way it is.

I used to really love this place, but my boyfriend and I came in about a week ago and ordered a couple burgers, and I became violently ill the next day. I missed an entire day of work and instead spent it throwing up. I couldn’t even hold down water. At first I thought it was food poisoning, but within days of returning to work, my boyfriend and several of my coworkers caught whatever I had – so we came to find out it was viral. My boyfriend missed two days of work and my coworkers are still slowly catching the illness. It’s spreading around the call center I work at now. I urge you to be careful eating here.

I ordered the Teriyaki burger which had a great flavor. But I noticed on my burger that the vegetables were not fresh. The tomatoes had that weird texture they have when they are old… Luckily I ordered the teriyaki burger and it wasn’t noticeable in the flavor. Had I ordered just a plain old burger it would have been really noticeable and I would have been more disappointed. My husband ordered a chicken burger and his was really dry, he said it was the worst burger he’s ever had… We probably won’t eat here again.

After a busy afternoon almost anything will taste good, but the Charbroiled Turkey Burger was dry, plain, and not good. Step it up Carl’s Jr, you’ve got a reputation to consider…“If it doesn’t get all over the place, it doesn’t belong in you face”. It didn’t get all over the place, so I guess it didn’t belong in my face or in a Carl’s Jr bag. I would NOT recommend the Turkey burgers, be a man and just get the beef. The Teriyaki Burger was a little better. The turkey was dryer than dry and I had to use Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce from home just to be able to finish it. Nice drive through guy. Keep it classy my friend!

In a group of locations that are consistently bad, in a chain that has taken pains to make itself notoriously awful(all of their chicken is the same type of processed stuff as McNuggets, including their strips, burgers are obviously mostly flavored filler), we have one place that stands head and shoulders out from(below?) the others, including the other one on 2100 S. that finds it impossible to get any order correct the first time and the one on North Temple, that continues to fight a raging battle to spread Hep A. No, though those are both worthy candidates in their own right, we have this place as the overall winner(?), given it’s long track record of continually missing elements on salads, serving soggy(dunked in water perhaps?) buns on nearly everything, giving food to the wrong people and then when they return 5 minutes later with the bag and half-opened food, looking for their actual order, try to give that same bag to the original orderer(then becoming confused and possibly disoriented when that food is rejected), ignoring coupons entirely(they are remarkably gifted at this) and my new favorite, running out of material to make shakes. Had my wife not foolishly introduced our son to those idiotic star shaped nasty chicken nuggets they have, I would be continuing my happy habit of never spending money there, but breaking a 3 year old from the obsession of the moment can be rocky going. Hopefully, he will tire of the novelty soon, as his father has. I know a lot of us online writers like to make year end recap lists and in my hot sauce blog, I handed out a Sauce Of The Year award for best hot sauce I’ve had this year and as I noticed the back of the receipt with a slogan that Carl’s cares(they still owe me for 3 salads) — news flash, they actually do not, as it turns out, care), I thought it fitting that this place finally got its just and due recognition for being such an awful pile of crap, a consistently foul blight on Sugarhood. I would anti-toast them, if I could just figure out what the opposite of Huzzah! is.

This drive-thru never disappoints me. They are fast, happy, and efficient. The Memphis BBQ burger right now comes with a freaking ice cream sandwich. what a deal! Plus theservice was super nice to us. Good Job Carl’s!

As far as breakfast goes, its the best fast food. 2 sausage egg biscuits for 2 bucks! what a deal and they are fresh. Super good service and clean. Not really reviewing other menu items but breakfast is solid.

This location was directly across the street from my hotel, so there’s a plus! The cashier was attentive and was very inviting. When we finished getting our sodas, the food was ready. The dining area was clean. We ordered the western bacon cheeseburgers, 2 for $ 5! Added one regular combo for an additional $ 2. My sandwich was a bit dry and had to ask for some extra BBQ sauce. It’s located on a fairly busy street, and it never seemed that anyone would have any parking problems.
