Great coffee and great people. They are always friendly. Bridget and Stirling are awesome they have my drink ready by the time I get to the window. They are best.

I fell in love the day I had my first frozen chai from here… no one makes a frozen chai quite like Java Jo’s! *not looking forward to summer because bees swarm this place, eeeeek*

Sometimes I’m wary of the little side of the road drive through coffee stands but Java Jo’s does it right. Their coffee is so tasty I don’t even need to add sugar to their lattes. The baristas are super friendly and upbeat which I personally prefer to grouchy servers in the mornings. If your in a hurry be aware there has been a line of cars each morning, but at least they have both sides of the coffee cart open so the line moves quick enough. It’s silly but one of our favorite things about Java Jo’s are the chocolate covered espresso beans they give you on the to go lid of your coffee.

Beyond amazing hot and cold lattes. They always have special drinks to try that are amazing. Love the holiday pumpkin spice latte! Lattes are not too sugary and always taste the same no matter who makes them. Bagels are great and from local spot called rich’s bagels down the road. The best part of going here would b the staff. The servers are so sweet and always have a smile for you. They remember your names, drinks, dogs etc. A true gem. I drive out of my way to get their drinks. I crave them. Mmmmmm open more locations!!!

I love the coffee here and I always order an iced caramel latte. I wish I could give this place 5 stars but they always seem to give me the wrong size. I always pay for a 24 oz and drive away to find out that they gave me a 20 oz and still charge me for the larger size. This has happened 4 times and 1 time by the location on 1300 east. I never notice the mistake until I drive away since I’m in a hurry on my way to work. Please stop charging me for the larger drink and giving me the smaller one! Other than that, I keep coming back because the coffee is really great!

My almondmilk mocha was lovely. I find Almondmilk is best when it isn’t steamed to the normal 140° which changes the flavors so I requested it at 125°. Perfect. Thank you

Love this place! And I’m a coffee snob. Their salted caramel mocha is unmatched, it’s especially good iced. They’re usually very busy j weekday mornings, but the employees bust their asses to get you your drinks quickly. They’re incredibly friendly and remember their regulars. I’m quickly becoming one of them.

Absolutely my favorite go to, quick, coffee joint. Even though it is located in just a hut, the drinks that they produce are amazing. I’ve never had a drink that I didn’t enjoy! One thing that really puts them above some of the other coffee chains around Utah(I’m looking at you beans and brews) is the fact that they actually pull their own shots. Being an ex barista myself, I can’t say how disappointing it is when I go to get a delicious coffee drink… only to discover that all some places need to do is simply push a button to create said drink. It takes away the skill and the art of making a handcrafted drink. The fact that they have never once screwed up my drink with burned shots, which is surprisingly very easy to do, shows that they have some seriously good baristas. Keep at it, Joes! You’ll have me as a regular until the day I die!

Love love love love Java Joe’s! Coming from the Pac Northwest we had an abundance of choices for well made coffee, but it’s something I’ve struggled with on the southern end of the valley. Downtown slc has some great options but we are hurting in the lower half! Java Jo’s proudly serves lavazza espresso– it’s Italian! Those Italians have been roasting espresso long before the hipsters got a hold of it so it’s perfect! NEVER over roasted. It’s rare that I’ll find a place that I will switch up my order because I am quite picky about HOW a drink is made, but here I’ll order it hot iced or blended because they know how to do it, and they’re fast and friendly. Well done Java Jo’s!

I absolutely love Java Joes! Their drinks are delicious and their employees are always a delight. Every time I bring my dog with me in the car, they always give her a treat. I recommend Java Joes to all coffee lovers.

My favorite to-go coffee place of all times! If you are new to Cottonwood Heights, and a coffee fan, I highly recommend driving by and picking up a specialty drink at Java Joes! They have the best tasting lattes, and just about any flavor you desire. Staff is friendly, there is a customer stamp card, plus they give you a yummy chocolate espresso bean!

Java Jo’s is my favorite coffee stop in SLC, particularly the one on 9th South and 13th East. The staff(Joey, Ben, Shelley, etc.) are so friendly and always remember my order, plus never forget to give my dog a treat. They are efficient even during rush hours and don’t ever seem overwhelmed. Their frequent buyer stamp card is a great deal if you’re stopping for coffee anyway, and they’ll even keep your card on file so you don’t have to worry about losing it.

Move over Beans and Starbucks. Java joes is hands down my favorite on the go coffee stop. I’m pretty picky with my espresso but Joes never disappoints. I’m not sure what sort of wizardry they inject into their coffee concoctions but it’s exactly what I need to get through the day. Make sure and grab a punch card if you’re a frequent visitor(which you should be!) so you can grab a free drink after a few visits. They also give you a couple of chocolate covered espresso beans with each drink. As if I needed another reason to love this coffee shack. Tried it all: tea, plain coffee, espresso, frozen treats, and scones. Love it all. There’s also three locations so no matter where you are in salt lake you can get your morning or afternoon Java fix

Always good and friendly but best of all quick. A little bit out of my way. Beans and Brews in Murray are closer but they are jerks so I tried Java Joe’s as a happy accident. It is now my go to before driving to work. The chai is the only thing they need to change. It’s horrible.

The fact that I received a notification from another location based service on my phone yesterday that stated that«having 300+ check-ins at this place made me a big deal,» should give you an indication of how much I love this place. Murray is a desolate place to find good coffee, the other establishments around are mediocre at best, and Java Jo’s is somewhere I would drive miles for just to get a good cup if I needed it. However, it’s not just the coffee that make this place great, it’s the people that work there. The girls(and occasionally two fellas) are fantastic. They are always happy to see you, always fast, friendly, and welcoming(which is quite the achievement in a little hut) and the coffee(LavAzza) is always perfect. I generally order an 8oz soy latte for $ 2.50(8oz is a standard coffee back in my home country), and they will fill any reusable cup that you might want to bring along, too. Java Jo’s has several locations, but this one is my go-to as it is so close to work, and you’ll often see me here multiple times in a day when the work load is just too much to bear ;) So next time you’re in the area — or you just want to be — go see the hut and experience what real coffee and service is like.
