This is definitely my go to when I don’t want to cook for my family. I love everything on their menu. They are resonably priced. I always get the chicken gyro platter. It comes with rice, salad, drink and rice pudding for dessert. Can’t beat the 7 dollar price either. I would definitely suggest this place to anyone. Servings are always huge. If your buying food for your kids all you need to know is order less because the burger and fries meal can feed 2 children. Customer service is great too. This says alot because I am pretty big on customer service.

This place has good food but they charge you $ 0.50 for water. And my friend burned himself with a fry.

The best Gyro… at least in my opinion. Get the Gyro plate with fries and add feta to your salad. Finish the meal by getting the tapioca pudding and you will not be disappointed.

Would be a five star if this restaurant didn’t nickel and dime the customer. Only eat here after 3 pm. The gyro platter is 6.95 after 3, before it’s 9.95 plus they charge for water. the staff is nice but lunch shouldn’t be $ 11 when dinner is $ 7.

Went there, now I have diarrhea. Enough said. The food was terrible, and they’re obviously idiots.

I really like the food at Mad Greek, when you get what your ordered it is pretty tasty. The problem I have had at this location is not getting my order right. I get the chicken gyro and every time they make me the regular gyro with lamb, it frustrating, especially when you make it all the way home to find they gave you the incorrect order.

The people were nice but they really need to fix the confusing menu. Be careful what you order, make sure they charge you correctly and make sure you don’t get the hamburger kid came with just a bun, patty, and sauce. My sis liked her gyro though. I think the place would be more successful with a simpler menu.

This is where I go for Chicken Gyros. They have an extensive menu, and Mr. H has had a few different things since he’s not a chicken gyro fan. Their fries are crispy slightly greasy steak fries that I have a hard time resisting. I have made it in for their $ 5 dinner specials a couple f times, too, and they are really a great deal.

Mad Greek is awesome. Perfectly suited to satisfy a sudden craving for a gyro, a plate of fish and chips, or a BC combo, this place serves it up hot, and they serve it up good. Sure, Mad Greek is a dive, the food is a nutritional disaster, and the seats are held together by duct tape. But still, I always leave deeply satisfied.

I’ve been to the Mad Greek many times while I lived in the area, haven’t been back in awhile until last night. I’ve always loved their fried zuchini but tried something else this time. I got the pork and chicken«double stick» souvlaki with lemon rice and salad. The platter also came with a choice of rice pudding or tapioca. I don’t like either one, so the cashier gave me a large drink instead. I thought that was pretty cool. My pork and chicken souvlakis were great, seasoned well and very moist. I got some of the cucumber sauce on the side and I should have ordered extra since it’s so good. The lemon rice is flavorful, however they put some type of red sauce on top that I did NOT like. I don’t know what it was but it was not for me. Prices are good for what you get. I had leftovers from my meal that I plan to enjoy today for lunch

About 3 months ago, I had a mad craving for souvlaki while driving down Redwood Road. There was a big sign advertising a $ 5 souvlaki platter, and I swung in(narrowly missing the construction cones that are all over that area of Taylorsville. The plate included souvlaki, greek rice, and salad, and I also ordered some pita. It was tasty… and I thought about the food for days. Later that week, I went back and got the $ 5 gyro platter, and was even more impressed. The cool cucumber sauce complimented the warm gyro meat and fresh pita. And thus began my almost weekly visits at Mad Greek. I suggest the tapioca pudding for dessert(if you’re not in a baklava mood)

Mad Greek serves up your standard Greek food: yeros, souvlakis, hamburgers, lemon rice, and a whole lot more including boiled chicken sandwiches, spaghetti, and pulled pork sandwiches. With something to please just about everyone palette, Mad Greek is reasonably priced and the staff is friendly. Tonight I ordered a pork souvlaki with rice. The pork was seasoned well but a bit tough. The lemon rice was excellent and tasted great. I also ate some of my girlfriend’s fries which were super tasty. I swear Mad Greek has THEBEST fries. I don’t know they do to make them so good, but they are yummy.

The food is all pretty typical of the ubiquitous ‘pastrami burger’ eateries. The dolmathes are a nice find though since they are typically not found on the menus of these types of places. Why then do I frequent this place? Two words: lamb shank.(My wife is quick to remind me that the meat loaf is pretty decent also… thanks honey!). I am a lamb shank junkie however. If it’s on the menu I will usually either get it or mooch a bite from my dining companion that I duped into ordering it. For 8 bucks you get a braised shank and spaghetti covered with sauce form the braising. You get a skimpy side salad and a forgettable pice of garlic bread also. Just toss ‘em and concentrate on the lamb and spaghetti. I’m pretty sure they toss in a fountain drink too.

Fast food Greek that’s done pretty well. I had the gyro combo, with fries and a drink, and though they did a pretty good job. Fries were good & crispy on the outside. Gyro had good flavor but was a little shy on the meat in my opinion. Decent little place if you’re in a hurry and got a craving for Greek food.

Mad Greek serves up your typical greek fast food, along with the usual burgers, fries and sandwiches. A couple of things set this place apart from the burger/Greek places in town; 1– Low prices. They have special dinner platters for $ 5! I just had a Gyro, rice and a good-sized salad for 5 bones! Great deal! 2– The service is soooo friendly! These guys are genuninely happy that you are eating at their restaurant and it shows. Even in the drive-thru, they go the extra mile to say«thank you» several times and«have a nice night,» etc. The ingredients are fresh and yummy.

4 Stars because I absolutely love their Pepper Steak Gyros. All in all they have a good variety of gyros and the several that I have tried have all been very good. After that it could easily be rated a 3 star, but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. The prices tend to be fair in relation to quality and proportions. I’ve been to several different locations and they all tend to be consistent.
