Royal Express

Royal Express is a testimony of the idiom ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’.
On the first glance, Royal Express appeared to be an imitation of Panda Express based on its name, décor and the orange chicken at the counter. However, my first bite on the fried tofu immediately changed my perspective of the restaurant. The tofu had a thin, crispy exterior and an extremely smooth, soft interior, which made it the best tofu that I have had in Utah. The only downfall of the dish was that the spicy sauce was good yet tinted the dish’s authenticity.
My grade for this restaurant is 3.5 stars, rounding up to 4 stars. Besides providing excellent food, the owner was very friendly and gave us free melon drinks. Yet, the service was relatively slow, and the lunch lasted 2 hours. The waiter brought out the wrong dish to my friend, and nicely offered a discount.
I would definitely recommend Royal Express to Unilocalers who live in the area or/​and on the way to Bear Lake as my friends and I were.
