Sound Warehouse

After my newly installed and very expensive car stereo went out for the fourth time, I again called sound warehouse to get it fixed before I drove to vegas in a few days. They said they couldn’t fit me in because they already had paying customers scheduled ahead of me. Oh Really? what am I? That piece of junk you sold me wasn’t free… I paid for it too. Thoroughly disgusted with the continued poor service, I called HOOK UP MY SYSTEM. These guys are great. Had me in the next day. In about 15 minutes had the stereo and everything else running properly then showed me all the short cuts sound warehouse took that were causing the problems. Never going back to sound warehouse but I highly recommend HOOK UP MY SYSTEM. They actually know what they are doing, very polite and easy to work with.
I only gave one star because a negative isn’t an option.

The sound warehouse guys totally took care of a thanksgiving road trip A/​V problem. I appreciate their helping me when they clearly didn’t have to. Classy. Nicely done!

Costumer service wasn’t great. I walked in, was stared at and ignored, and walked out.

Had to have my car towed here when I couldn’t deactivate the alarm (installed elsewhere just a week and a half before). They initially told me they’d have to just remove the alarm as it was probably bad. The technician was great though and found that the problem was basically a shoddy and incomplete installation. Instead of going the easy route and just taking the entire alarm out, he managed to fix it and even showed me how to disarm it with the new parts he put in, in the unlikely event that the alarm couldn’t be shut off again. Since I’m just passing through Salt Lake on a cross-​country move, this really saved the day. I really appreciate how much extra effort the technician put in to solving the problem. Would definitely go to them again if I lived here.

Just got my car worked on and I’d have to say I’m pretty pleased. Being that i had a push start vehicle that complicated things. But overall, my experience was good. Staff was honest and friendly. Pricing was a bit high, but that’s electronics for you. What customer doesn’t want lower prices right. But when you want good quality, you have to spend more. That’s why I was ok and went forward with the complete install. Overall, it was a positive experience and I don’t have a problem with recommending these guys to anybody.

Only 1 star because negative 1 wasn’t an option. I think they farmed out my installation to the local remedial high school auto shop. Ive torn apart my dash, rear panels and finally brought it into the dealership to fix what was a simple install on a deck and speakers. Wired the stereo totally wrong which shorted out part of my electrical system, drilled holes with less than a ¼ inch clearance, no washers or anything to anchor speakers except woodscrews in sheetmetal and horrible follow up customer service with arrogant employees that talked trash on my make and model trying to cover what they had to know was shoddy workmanship. Horrible experience that has been reinforced by others when I told them about mine. Should’ve asked around first… Don’t support these frat boys that couldn’t do anything else with mom and dads money… My vehicle hasn’t been the same since… and did i mention that the stereo isn’t working again? just did…

Pretty good deals, although I always feel like they overcharge for «parts».
