Tati is so sweet! I’ve been competing in beauty pageants for years and she is the only person I trust to touch my $ 5,000+ couture evening gowns. She accepts walk-​ins and responds to text. She knows what she’s doing and has such a kind heart.

Worth the drive to salt lake! I went to a different alteration place in Layton and she messed up my dress so bad! Then I took it to Tati alterations and not only did she fix it but she also gave it a French bustle which I’m so glad she did cause I didn’t even think of that! On top of what a wonderful job she did, it was 40 bucks cheaper than the Layton alterations place! I’m so glad I found this place because my wedding dress was amazing after!

I had a blazer I needed tailored, every other tailor I called in the city quoted me an outrageous amount for what I thought to be a simple alteration. When I went into Tati’s, Nelida took a look at my blazer, had me put it on and told me it would be done by 5pm the next day. Not only did she have it done and it fit perfectly but she gave me such a fair price. This is the only place I will recommended to any one who asks. Extremely professional and kind.

Tati’s always done a good job on the dresses that I’ve brought to her. They’ve all been pageant dresses, so the fabric is more difficult to work with. As long as you bring your dresses to her a couple days beforehand, she’ll be able to fix virtually anything.
She’s also very sweet and patient. I would always call ahead though to see if she’ll be in the store before you drop off anything to her. Since she owns her own business, her hours can shorten and extend on certain days.

We purchased a beatufiul and expensive «pageant» dress. Tati altered the beading on the shoulder strap to make it fit, and hemmed the dress beautifully. She also did a great job on hemming a second dress a year later. Would definitely use her again.
