First, let me say that I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now and Christian has been cutting my hair and doing an EXCELLENT job of it… never any complaints about him, only the highest praise. I came to the shop today, Veteran’s Day, and was told that Christian was off. Well, I should have just turned around and walked out, but instead I let one of the women(who has been there a long time) cut my hair. I didn’t notice what a terrible haircut I had gotten until I went home and looked in the mirror at all angles. I’m balding and don’t have a lot of hair anyway, so I’m real particular about the hair I have left. She gave me a total hack job… bare spots down to the scalp, right side shorter than the left and here’s the kicker… I have a full beard and she shaved my right sideburn to within an 1⁄8 inch of my skin, while the hair on the other sideburn was an inch long. I’m 65 years old and this was the WORST haircut I’ve ever had! There’s no fixing this awful haircut. I’ll just have to wait 3 or 4 weeks until it grows back out… Then I’ll let a REAL barber cut it! Sorry I didn’t wait for you, Christian… I’ll never make that mistake again!

Pretty awful. We thought it would be nice because it’s close by and affordable. I don’t know what the ladies there think«high and tight military hair cut» is, but if I don’t get my husbands hair fixed by Monday his commanding officer is likely to punish the whole unit.

No complaints at all. Christian(tattooed & pierced guy) cut my hair and constantly asked if I liked what he was doing so I liked that that he was very accommodating and catering to my wants. I got a 1 – 2 fade on the back and sides and scissors on the top, so I can gel and comb it over. 6 bucks for a cut can’t be beat either, especially for a student on a student budget, such as myself. It isn’t the fanciest of barbers by any means but I went in, got a cut, made some small talk, paid & tipped, and left. My only suggestion would be to have the customer face the big wall mirrors instead of having us seated with our backs to the mirrors– it kind of didn’t make sense to me.

This place gets some turn over so you have to be particular about who you let cut your hair. I have been getting my hair cut by Kent for the last 2 – 3 years. He does a great job on really tight fades. I usually bring it down to a .5 or even a 0. on the sides and leave 3 – 4 inches on the top. The best part is you get a sweet haircut for cheap and still walk out with a killer deal even after tipping generously. You’re my boy Kent!

Many customers have been coming here for the past 15+. The staff is great. I have paid over $ 50+ for a cut once at other places and this place gives friendly service and great cuts. Also the demeaning comments by these two, is not cool.

I’ve been going here since moving to Salt Lake. The employees are cool. The service is quick and efficient. And you can’t beat the price.

I started going back to the shop after being away for some time. While I enjoyed going to Kent(the owner??). I made the mistake of taking my 8 year son there on a Saturday. The woman who cut his hair was rude, very rough and hurt my son by pulling on his hair so hard it made him cry. She was in a bad mood when she came in and took it out on an 8 year old boy. While Kent is cool, the help is mean.
