Over rated. The best thing about this restaurant is the attractive waiters. I think that the butterscotch pudding dessert is the best thing on the menu.

Ordered the penne with house made sausage and it was exactly what I was hoping for. The food and atmosphere are definitely the highlights of this place. Trendy and fresh. The service was a bit slow and our waitress was stand offish and unfriendly.

I’ve only been to go to a few times and in general like their food ok. But portion sizes are small ESPECIALLY if you get take out pasta. DONOT get takeout pasta if you are at all hungry. It’s like a side portion. Pretty disappointing tonight. But what can you do?

Great pizza!!! Light and fluffy with a little crunch, Italian style. If you haven’t tried this place, do it!

The portions are small and not worth the price. I can make the pasta meals that my party and I ordered at home. They did not have a flavor that you would expect to when you go to a restaurant. I can get the ingredients from Walmart. Leaving hungry is the worst when you spent $ 12.

First time and it didn’t disappoint… Great service and really good food… Even a decent wine list. For dessert I recommend the Italian pudding

My wife, baby and I just had dinner at Vinto. Needless to say, see star rating, we left unimpressed. The food was bland and the ingredients appeared cheap(asparagus in your pasta shouldn’t be 1 spear sliced into 10 long, skinny individual pieces). We ate the food in front of us to fill the void, not to delight or tastebuds. We won’t be back.

Great food. Try the palanta pizza and the meatball sandwich! Top it off with a gelato sampler and you’ll be one full and satisfied customer! I’ll be back to try other things on menu!

One of the evening’s specials was chilled honeydew soup. It was perfect for summer and really tasty with a bit of freshly ground black pepper added. The pizza I chose was the potato and arugula with red onions added. I liked the flavor and it was perfectly baked but it was entirely too dry. Ask for olive oil and drizzle a bit on top. It also needed salt and this is one of those presumptuous restaurants so you’ll need to ask for that too. Dessert choice was molten chocolate cake with a scoop of chocolate cherry gelato. Delicious! Wonderful staff. Nice décor. Patio seating if you’re into that.

I’ve been eating here for several years now and generally have a pretty good experience. However today I got a pizza I didn’t order and it was a bit burnt, the sever offered to make a new one but my time table didn’t allow for it . Hopefully it will be up to par in the future

This place reminds me of Macaroni Grill with the brick oven pizza. Pizza was good but a little on the pricey side 14 dollars for individual size. the pasta was homemade and the chicken pesto was a little bland. This restaurant has nice décor and good service

Great pizza, eh pasta. The restaurant is beautifully designed; spacious with modern décor in a cozy space. My party of 6 arrived at 1.30 on Wednesday and was seated immediately in one of the circular booths. There was one server in the entire restaurant. We ordered drinks and the waiter scurried away to get them together while we decided on what to eat. I originally ordered the raspberry Italian soda but the waiter was kind enough to warn me that it is the only sugar-free flavor, so I switched to strawberry. It was creamy and delicious. The Ruby Red cocktail comes with a giant ice cube and was not too heavy on the grapefruit flavor; refreshing and recommended. The tropical green tea was so delectably fragrant. It’s on my list and I must find where to get it. Get the Fire-Grilled Artichoke Hearts appetizer. I usually split it with my boyfriend but I could definitely eat the whole thing myself. I practically lick the plate clean every time. Three of us got the Regina pizza. It’s my favorite and I get it 4 out of 5 times. My pizza was well cooked but I did feel like there were fewer toppings than usual. My friend Sidney ordered the Grilled Chicken Caprese Sandwich. His comments: light on the balsamic vinegar and prefers non-panini caprese sandwiches but it was good. The Traditional Meat Sauce Pasta arrived steaming hot and was well received; not too salty or greasy, felt lighter. The Grilled Chicken & Basilico Pesto Pizza was ordered and mistaken for the Chicken Pesto Pasta, but was corrected immediately. The waiter let us keep it for free and we all sampled it. I was not impressed; I make something very similar at home. Overall, pizza selections offer interesting combination of ingredients and are always cooked well. Pasta entrees are good but most are things I could make at home; I’d rather get something I can’t cook when I go out to eat.

If you’re going to drop my pasta spoon on the floor as you serve my pasta, please bring me a new one. If my wine glass is empty, please offer me another one. If my iced tea is empty, please refill it. Please do not ask if I want dessert or coffee AFTER I ask for the check. Mediocre at best tonight and we will not be back.

Our latest visit and frankly, past couple of visits, have been disappointing. Service for us is always attentive. It’s the food that’s let us down. Pizza came out cold but overly burnt, pesto lacked flavor and Italian chopped salad was very meh. I will say the old fashioned was on point but we used to be so excited for the pizzas and pastas… disappointed is the word I would use. I just don’t think there is an excuse especially when it’s not busy and the chef and cooks aren’t slammed. Just sayin’

This place always does well in my book. Went with a group of friends and we had a great time in one of cool circle booths. Perfect table to chat and catch up. The food choices are always decent and the specials are very creative. I end up in the pizza section all the time and seem to never miss when I do. I had a pepperoni with mushrooms. The dessert are pretty bad ass. I had some butterscotch dish that was incredible.

I wish I could rate this place 3.5 stars. The ambiance was great. The service was prompt. The prices are good. The food was hit and miss. Water is served lukewarm, no ice, in a tiny glass. Weird. However, I got the best Italian soda ever. The goat cheese appetizer was served cold and was just meh. Not what we expected at all. But the polenta appetizer of the day was delicious. Salads were mediocre. I got a calzone that was good but nothing exciting. We also ordered a few pizzas that were also good but nothing stood out. Desserts however were delicious… we tried the pear tart, apple tart and a few different gelatos. All were great.

I’m eating here right now and there are 2 other tables with people. I ordered a salad and pizza 20 minutes ago and walked to the kitchen to see what’s going on. With angst the waiter replied, «a big order just came in and we’re working on it.» I know big orders are important, but you still need to take care of the people here. It took two minutes to make the salad and I wonder, could that not have been done before working on the order? I was made to feel impatient and wish better time management, task delegation and consideration could have taken place. I wonder if they saw me writing a Unilocal review… The waiter just came to my table, apologized and said we’ll take care of the bill. Due to this tactful consideration, I will change 2 stars to 4.

I had the patate pizza and it was pretty good but my friend had the chicken Caesar salad which he said didn’t have much chicken.

Did take out and was not impressed. Was just staying in SLC for the night but probably would’ve been better off getting food from the DoubleTree we were staying at which had reasonably priced room service. Got one of the pizzas but the toppings were way too skimpy. The Tutabella had homemade sausage, caramelized onions, fresh tomato, peppers, and cheese. The sausage was good, but the fresh tomatoes where more like smashed tomatoes under the cheese as opposed to sliced tomatoes. Got the V Salad which was the arugula one with prosciutto but it seemed like a small portion for the price. I guess that might be the problem with arugula since it’s such a tender and light leaf, so the dish may have been more impressive dine-in on a plate.
