Über disappointed in Wasatch Pizza. We called and ordered a pizza and wings. Thought an hour and 15 minutes for delivery was a bit extreme. Received it in 45 minutes but was horribly unimpressed. The delivery driver was nice but timid. My best guess is because the box was literally creased down the middle. Our pizza was mushed into the box. I nearly was able to eat a piece. Our wings were soggy and poorly sauced. For fifty bucks, it should have been pristine. I’m EXTREMELY disappointed. I feel like we’ve been robbed. They used to be so good. Will probably never order from Wasatch again.

Don’t waste your $. For some reason I’ve been getting pizza from this place for years. It used to be, like, awesome. But then I got screwed a couple times, but this last time that’s it. Actually waited three hours for my pizza and wings and they never showed up(12−29−14). No call, nothing. At this point too many bad experiences. This place is destined to fail. F.

Like so many others I’ve talked to have said, this place has gone down hill. It wasn’t more than a year ago that I was ordering the Italian sub twice a week. It was incredible with the large slice of sausage and a delicious vinaigrette sauce, lots of pepperonis and cheese. Sadly, it’s all gone. I got two bitesize, flat pieces of sausage. It was VERY disappointing. I may not be returning to this restaurant ever again. Definitely not to satisfy my craving for an Italian sub.

Used to love them, but repeated horrible service has ruined them for me. Ordered pizza at 6pm, was told 45 min. 90 minutes later we call(five times — no one answered the first four times) to see what’s taking so long, and they claim they didn’t have our phone number or address(even though when we ordered, they read both our phone number and address back to us.) No apology, no discount. Just said they were on their way now, clearly with food that has been sitting under a heating lamp for over an hour. Extremely disappointed and annoyed. I frequently use them for work events but they’re losing that business now too.

I love Wasatch pizza WHEN it’s good. Unfortunately, this weekend, their delivery service lost me for good. They were already on their last chance with pizza quality(one time we received one with more bubble than toppings, another time we received the wrong toppings on our pizza, another time they gave us marinara instead of pesto)… And, we’ve had several instances where delivery took quite a bit longer than they said. But, I kept going back for those times that it was amazing in between, because I love gourmet pizza. NOMORE!!! We ordered our pizza and after having to repeat myself 3 or more times with everything that I said(even though our phone #/address were already in the system), and they wouldn’t honor a coupon on their website(only gave me partial credit), we were told it would be 45 minutes. An hour and fifteen minutes, two hungry young kids and parents later, I called, only to be hung up on. And then, when I called back they tried to tell me their driver quit and would 20 minutes be okay? I explained they were already half an hour late, so no, 20 minutes would not be okay. They offered me 25% off. No thanks. Forget it. I didn’t want to pay for a pizza that was going to end up cold/reheated and pay so much for it and they didn’t have the decency to call me and tell me it would be delayed. I told them to cancel. 45 minutes later, someone comes knocking on my door with a pizza. What the??? I told him I’d cancelled it, and after explaining what had happened with our order, he still tried to sell it to me saying it was«still warm», showing me that they had taken my phone # and address down wrong, and offered NO discount. At this point, we had already eaten so I said I’d take it for free(would have sent him with a decent tip) or not at all. No real apologies and he turned around and left. After that, he attempted to sell it to my neighbors across the street!!! What the??? Yeah. NICE customer service Wasatch. Don’t know how you’re still open with service like that. I guess it’s idiots like me who keep going back for the few good times in the mix of all the bad. –Laurel @growingfourlife

great pizza, really fresh toppings and crust, quick friendly delivery, way better than pizza hut or dominos!

Love their unique choices in pizzas. My favorite is chicken, pesto, pine nuts, with artichoke hearts. There’s a large variety, even one that’s so meaty it’s guaranteed to give you a heart attack. Wasatch is definitely not your typical Pizza Hut or Papa Johns. Definitely great pizza. Only complaint is ordering online. You can only order from the downtown location and it’s actually a 3rd party called Chow Now that delivers.

Just updating. I never heard back from anyone after my call to the main store. I even wrote a review on Facebook with no reply. Obviously they just care about money and not the customer. No wonder they’ve had to close all but three of their locations.

Nice website? Nope. Tons of toppings to choose from? Not really. Delicious delivery pizza for a great price? Definitely.

I used to love Wasatch, but after taking 1 ½ hours to deliver me a salty, skimpy«Gourmet» pizza and a rotten salad, I will not be ordering from there again. We ordered the Mt. Nebo, which in the past had mountain of fresh broccoli and roasted eggplant. On our delivered pizza, we never found the eggplant and hardly had any veggies, much less $ 18 worth of pizza. But the salad was truly disgusting. It SMELLED rotten, and had wilted, slimy and brown leaves. Whoever put the excess cheese on top had to know he was sending out something that should be tossed. I cant trust them to engage in any kind of food safety if they are okay with delivering rotten food. It was terrible. It’s too bad, too, because they USED to be so good!

After a couple dozen more deliveries, I’m adding a star to Wasatch Pizza. They have really stepped up their game. Their pizzas always arrive fresh and hot and the toppings are super fresh and tasty. I love the different options and specialty pies they have. The delivery people are always friendly, fast and happy. Yay! For pizza.

Every pizza I’ve tried is delicious – even after several choices I was skeptical of. Delivery is fast and fresh. Would definitely recommend.

Oh my gooooood lord. This pizza was incredible! We got the Widowmaker, and I can’t recommend it strongly enough! I don’t usually like ham on pizza(those over processed, salty, fatty circles) but I absolutely loved the deli style real ham on this monster of a pizza. I ate too many crappy and frozen pizzas in college and if it’s not great, I just don’t bother. I refuse to eat the greasy cardboard that passes as pizza at the big chains. This was such a great discovery. Thanks to Wasatch, my love of pizza has been renewed! nom

We were starving and it was late on Sunday… we had few options. Oh, Salt Lake City, why do you roll up your sidewalks like this? Ordered about 8:30 pm. Pizza arrived at approximately 9:15 pm, though it may have been closer to 9:20 pm. I wasn’t keeping track anymore. We ordered the«Grizzly Gulch» designer pie. It comes topped with spicy Italian sausage, artichokes, feta cheese, mozzarella and opted for marinara rather than the pesto since I am allergic– woe is me. I wanted a salad to share so I ordered what I believed to be big enough to share between two of us, a $ 4 caesar salad. It was not, in fact, big enough to share. It was teensy weensy but really yummy with the addition of the sundried tomatoes. The boyfriend ordered a side of wings but I never really heard how those were. They are gone, so I take that as approval. Dough was a little tough but had a good flavor, I enjoyed eating the crust and so did the kids. Overall, I wasn’t wowed but I was satisfied. Their vegetarian selections sound wonderful so I may try this place again sans carnivorous boyfriend.

I It’s been a while since we sat down and talked. Grab a drink, and let me tell you about this crazy affair I had… All through college I played the pizza chains. You know, cheap thrills. No commitments; no worries. When I graduated and moved to the SLC I saw this little pizza joint. Nothing fancy, just local style. Oh man, she looked so good! I loved the purple and green logo. I loved the locally named pies(the Mt. Nebo, the Lone Peak). The fresh & cool toppings(broccoli, capers, pesto). I loved her attitude. She knew that she was better than those other places. You could see it in her strut! Yeah, we dated on & off for years. It was pretty fun most of the time. I kept gaining weight whenever I saw her, but that’s beside the point. The relationship wasn’t going anywhere, and we were cool with it. Sometimes it’s just for fun, right? She was my 4-star lady, and I was her good time guy. I moved away for a few years and lost touch with her. I assumed that she found a new guy who would make her happy. I moved on, but I always had a soft spot in my memory for her. I moved back to SLC recently, but I didn’t call her at first. There were new pizzas testing my resolve. I had another fling with Rusted Sun. I been trying to hook up with Settebello & Nuch’s. Hell, I even stalked Sicilia’s! What can I say? I play the field. But then I ran into her on the street. I didn’t recognize her at first. What happened? Her sign was dilapidated and falling down. Her kitchen crew looked like meth tweakers. What happened to the bearded stoners from the good old days? How could she slip like this? I took home a Great Scott for old times sake. «Would it be how I remembered? How can we get back to the way we had it?» As Al Green said«Let’s stay together.» You know it’s over when you find yourself faking the love. As I sat there munching on over-worked dough, cold toppings, and flabby cheese… I choked up. I can admit that. There was no love in that slice – it was as fake as a politician’s apology. As Donny Hathaway said, «where is the love you said you’d give to me?» You remember when the Jazz went to the finals in ’97? I watched with a beer in one hand and her in my other. I guess we’ll always have that memory.

I thought I’d give Wasatch a try. Stuck in a hotel room and tired as hell, I ordered a pizza to be delivered. It was about 8 o’clock at night, so my pizza arrived in less than 30 mins. It was pretty good. See attached image, I got a «Great Scott». They have a web site with a menu and coupons. Give them a try. What do you think?
