I have been going to Dr. Newton for 16+ years and have NEVER been disappointed! Recently, I was treated by Dr. Widner, one of Dr. Newton’s associates. I had a 20-year-old root canal(completed by another dentist) that was not done properly. It was causing me problems and Dr. Widner took the time to explore all options. I was surprised to find out that there were significant complications, overlooked by a local endodontist. Dr. Widner played«detective» and fixed my problem. I am so pleased with the results: A more attractive crown that looks like my own teeth, and no more swollen or bleeding gums! Thank you!

I would highly recommend Dr. Newton and her caring, efficient staff if you are looking for a positive dental experience. I describe myself as having a phobia about dentists due to many painful visits as a child. Yet, for the past ten years, Dr. Newton has treated me with an upbeat attitude and caring sensitivity so that my dental visits are both pain and stress free. Today I spent over 2 hours in her office to have both a cleaning and a crown for a broken tooth. She and her staff made me feel very comfortable and were sensitive to my needs to provide an excellent pain free experience. Thank you, Dr. Rhonda Newton! You are the best at what you do!

I had been a patient of Dr. Newton for almost 13 years. Recently I had changed jobs and my insurance provider changed. I had specifically asked at Dr. Newton’s office if my new insurance provider was in network. I was told that it was. However, I now find that Dr. Newton is not in the network, as a result of which I am not covered at 100% for all the services. Secondly, the insurance provider tells me that some of the fees that Dr. Newton charges are much above the average of what other dentist charge in the area and so for services that would be 100% covered, I would still have to pay a difference. When I called into Dr. Newton’s office, the staff who answered my call was indifferent to the fact that I have been a patient for a long time, put the blame completely on me and that they have 1000’s of patients and cannot keep track of each individual’s plan. Sorry Dr. Newton but now you won’t have 1000’s of patients but 999s of patients since you lost one!

By far, the most pleasant experience i had while getting my teeth cleaned. Dr Newton and her splendid staff took care of my visit really well — with their personality, thoroughness of educating their patient — it made the whole process rather enjoyable. I will absolutely recommend Dr Newton to anyone who seek dental care.

I’m one of those«baby boomers» that had several bad experiences with dentists in my early years. Since then, I have been to several dentists with better results. None, however can begin to compare with my experience today with Dr. Newton and her wonderful assistant Andria. I expressed my earlier experiences and let them know that I was what they call a «gagger». They quickly put me at ease and were understanding of my concerns. The entire procedure was pain free and comfortable. They made sure that all of my questions were answered and I felt like I was among close friends. I cannot give them a stronger recommendation. Dr. Newton, is, simply, hands down the BEST and her assistant Andria COULDNOT have been nicer or more understanding and professional. The front desk guy, Dan was equally friendly and understanding. Do yourself and your family a favor. Go see Rhonda Newton. If you have any fears they will quickly be ended.

This office has pleasant and efficient workers who get the job done in good time. Why only three stars, then? They are always pushing extra dental services. For example: The first few times I went, everyone was horribly(almost theatrically) alarmed at my evidence of nighttime tooth-grinding. Every hygienist and doctor, on every visit, recommended a night guard for me, for a year or two. Eventually I caved in and got it(through them). I wore it for about three days and realized I’d rather have worn-down teeth than sleep with that giant hunk of plastic in my mouth. It’s been about five years since then; I’ve not been wearing the mouth guard at all, and nobody at that office has ever mentioned it again. Presumably my teeth are no *better* than they were before the mouth guard. It just feels like they’re pushing extra services for no valid reason. They got me to spend the money on the night guard, and that was all they cared about. Also, I’m 49 years old. Never had a cavity until I started going to Dr. Newton at about age 42. In the last seven years her office has found eight or nine cavities. I can’t help thinking they’re just doing this to get me to pay more money. We’re currently hunting for a new dentist in the area.
