The hair cut was fine, but it cost $ 50 just to cut off 4 inches. My hair was still damp from washing it in the morning, so the gal got it more wet and did conditioner, then did the cut(insisted on using razor to do it) and wanted to do some layers on it(even though I said I consistently wear it in a ponytail), anyway, I thought, why not? She blew it dry, too. Wasn’t worth $ 50 plus a tip, should have been a $ 20 – 30 cut. Next time I’ll ask the price ahead of time!

I drive 45 minutes from South King Co. to have Andrea work on my hair — she’s the best! With both cuts and color, she listens well, but isn’t afraid to challenge ideas that might not be in a client’s best interest. Friendly, reasonably-priced and always worth the drive!

I’ve been coming to see Andrea here at Regis for years. She’s there only one I trust to dye my hair funky colors and cut my hair exactly how I want. We’ve done full on rainbows in my hair, 4 different colors in my hair and even more! She is always up to the task and her execution is on point! Reasonable prices too. She’s personable and friendly and makes my haircut experience fun and laid back! I won’t go anywhere else to get my hair done.

I called Regis on Friday to see if they had anyone available for the afternoon. I always wait until I can’t stand my hair anymore and want an appointment PRONTO! They had an opening with AMBER. I am an older women and my hair just does what it wants to! I only go to salon about three times a year. I was so impressed with Amber! I have never written a review but wanted to take the time to praise Amber. She was very professional, very sweet and really listened to what I wanted. She would tell me what she was doing to my hair and why. Now I am going to have to plan better before making an appointment because I will need to ask for Amber. Thank you Amber for great service and a great cut and color!!!

We used to love the Russian hair stylist in Regis that we trusted our son’s hair cut with… but after we learned that she had moved on… we wanted to try another stylist at Regis. We got an appointment with Amber and I was very specific with her about the kind of style we were looking at– NOT a close cut… keep the bounce on the top of the head. fringe to be kept long and all this was substantiated with a pic. I did let her know that my 5 year old was one of those who was VERY particular about the way his hair should look. She seemed to get it but that belief only lasted till she got started. Even on constant reminders that I thought she was cutting too close– there was sure a nod of agreement and just that. After the cut– when I expressed my discontentment of her job and my son looked clearly NOT pleased. there was not a word of remorse from her other than«oh looks like i misunderstood u»…excuseee me!!! No offer to not charge anything for the service/no apology– this to me is absolutely unacceptable. This is the first time that a stylist has sounded so standoffish about a client not being happy with their job. Extremely Unpleasant Experience. Even beyond the bad haircut was the attitude. Stay Clear from the hair stylist — is my advice. Btw… just before we got seated– another stylist informed me that Amber had a client(kid again) just before us who was extremely unhappy and threw a tantrum… well! Why am I not surprised now. Hair grows back! Boys forget but a client lost is lost and word spreads.

WORST hair salon experience I’ve ever had. I came in and asked for a simple blowout. I said I wanted a blowout with loose curls. She washed and shampooed me, lightly dried my hair using no brush, then started applying gel and scrunching it. I clarified with her that I wanted a blowout, which is hair blown out straight, but with loose curls. She walked around and talked to people then told me it would be 10 extra dollars. I said okay and instead of rewashing my hair, she sprayed it with more product, lightly blew dry it some more, then curled it. When she was finished, it was wet and frizzy, which she proceeded to hairspray over. She then took me to the front and her and her manager stood in front of the computer screen calculating the price in front of me — «add money for length», «add for thermal curl», «does that seem like enough?». It was so unbelievably professional. I will never return. The Regis in the other Sammamish shopping center is in an entirely different ballpark. They are professionals. If you want your hair done right, go there. DON’T GOTOTHISREGIS. Can’t say enough bad things.

Let me preface this with the fact that I am not the planner I used to be. In the past, I was the sort of person who booked hair appointments in advance — usually each time I had a service done, I would book the next one as I paid. I’m sorry to say that I left that habit behind once I moved to Washington. So when I noticed that I only had a few days before heading on a trip to attend/be in my best friend’s wedding, and that I(gasp!) had two inch roots and a pile of split ends, I panicked. My usual stylist(as of late) couldn’t get me in on such short notice, so I started calling around to see about other places I’d seen reviewed on Unilocal. Of course, being that I was essentially working with four days — two of them only evenings — I wasn’t having a lot of luck finding an appointment time. I had almost decided to give up when on a trip through Sammamish, I discovered this Regis salon and made an appointment for the very next day. I came out of there today with a great cut and an awesome partial foil. My hair looks fantastic — and I don’t often say nice things about myself. The price was great due to the fact that I’d gotten in during«Customer Appreciation Week» where I saved 20%. However, I definitely think I’ll return here. The stylists were friendly and pleasant, and it appears that they are willing to fix any errors. A girl in the chair next to me had a dye job that hadn’t «taken»(pink and purple stripes in a section of her hair) and it appeared that they were redoing the job for no charge. I will definitely return here as my experience was a good one — which says a lot, being that I have had some pretty bad hair trauma in my time.
