Best burgers in town, good size portions and a variety of items on the menu, and everything I have tried has been great.

Okay quality, nothing really special. They don’t ask how your meat to be cooked. Relatively nice outdoor place than i thought initially. Only big pro is short wait line, pickup and to-​go. I probably will not go back unless i’m in rush.

Best burger I’ve had in San Angelo and the price was great. You could taste the «beef» in the patty and they cooked it to perfection! The outside was crisp and the inside was moist! We had the fries and they reminded me of the same spices Arby’s puts on theirs. This is one satisfied customer.

Addictive! I definitely get the hype. The burgers are huge, the food is flavorful and the price point is right. Can’t wait until my next visit!

Burgers were very mediocre and very overpriced. Had just moved and had not unpacked any condiments and specifically asked for things. Not there. Delivery service time was acceptable.

Stumbled upon this place as we were driving through from Austin. Great burgers and VERY FRIENDLY staff! Recommend the Austin and The Big Tex!

Like others, my wife and I had been excited to try out the hamburgers. When you present yourself as a «Cheeseburger» company, we expect to be presented with a burger made from fresh, high quality ingredients (like other reviewers have also expected). With that expectation before us, our burgers were disappointing. They were fine. About the quality of a fundraising hamburger supper. The patties seemed pre-​packaged frozen and the avocado mash was runny. While not a horrible experience, we will not be returning.

Been supporting Tim and his crew here since day one. Seriously. And he has a gold mine here. Maybe one day they’ll be able to fortify themselves a permanent structure. I have never ordered a bad burger from here and love the curly fries they offer. Prices are reasonable and you get a good sized portion.

I had ordered the El Paso burger and fries. The fries were absolutely delicious, seasoned to perfection, fresh and a great texture. The burger had great toppings but could have used a little more mayo and it was a little dry, my friends had burgers that weren’t dry. The food was delicious and the service was good. The price was fine, but remember they do charge an additional fee of you want to use credit cards. I will likely return for a different burger in the future.

I had the Austin burger with fries. The burger was OK; had better had worse. The fries were great! A soft drink is $ 2.29 each so consider bringing your own drink. That’s expensive! Like New York City prices. It’s a nice food truck stop when passing thru San Angelo.

Happened on this by accident. Had an Austin Burger and a Brisket Sandwich both of which were very good. It’s worth the stop if you’re ever this way. I probably would have gone 5 stars were it not for the wait. It was worth the wait though.

Ordered a guacamole burger and onion rings. I don’t think it was the best burger I’ve ever had but it was still great tasting, guacamole was very good bun was delicious. I don’t usually order onion rings but I’m glad I did here. Hands down best I’ve ever had.

Has potential but executed poorly.
We live in a city 2 hours away and have been excited to try this food truck for well over a year. We own our own food truck and know the amount of work that goes into one so we appreciate people in our field.
We were anticipating homemade condiments and buns, high quality meat and fresh ingredients, as advertised. We were given anything but that. Frozen onion rings and French fries… Frozen, unseasoned, dry beef patties… The mayo on the menu is advertised as homemade, it was not. The lettuce was browning and soggy, and I was given underripe tomatoes…
The only thing I really did appreciate were the buns, but I know from experience that they are ordered from a food service company already pre-​made, you just bake them.
I give this food truck two stars instead of one because their setup is impressive even though the food definitely is not.

Who gave these folks less than 5 stars?! This is hands down the best place to buy a hamburger. I enjoy the Amarillo the most. Soon these guys will have a brick-​and-​mortar restaurant called The Angry Cactus. The fries here must be battered or something because they have great flavor and are super crispy. The sweet tea is excellent too.

Just had a big TeX delivery new in town. Great delivery great food. Will order again!!!

This is a belated review, almost a year after having… thought the burgers were great. I live in the sticks, and getting to the big town of San Angelo, getting a proper drippy burger is high on the list !! Went here with the kids after debate and hearing about this on Unilocal,decided to give it a try. Got a some of the burgers, the Austin and the half-​pound Duke, other one I can’t remember, with some onion rings. None of these were the best I ever had, but really were awesome, I thought, for San An !!! Burgers were properly cooked, and onion rings barely made it home !! I thought about getting one for drive back to my town when I left the next day, they were that tasty !! And about the same price as Whataburger. Prob would give a 4 and a half stars, if able to.

I wish I could give this place one star after they made us wait so long for inedible burgers. One came out raw the other dry and over cooked.

I now see what all the hype was about. Only wish I had come sooner. And they deliver.

First time there and awesome burgers, not just some plain, routine burger. Lots of flavor! Can’t wait to go back.
