Patrick is a great guy and caring member of the community. I had a pair of glasses that I had bought elsewhere and they were pretty messed up. I went to get them adjusted elsewhere in town at a place that advertises that service, and they did virtually nothing to adjust them. Hence, I hightailed it over to Patrick, got a friendly face and genuine service.
I totally appreciate his willingness to take the time to help me out even though he didn’t make a dime. Not many left around here like him.

I got some great frames here which I really love. The atmosphere kind of feels like your in Hawaii and the owner, Patrick, is very welcoming and knows what he is doing.

As the other reviews say, he enjoys his work and his enthusiasm makes buying glasses a real pleasure. I have a very tricky prescription, but Patrick got me into super light-​weight sunglasses and glasses that are still getting compliments. Simply put: I look hot in my new frames. Enough said. However, I’ll say more. Patrick clearly has a passion for what he does. He was patient, kind, and a lot of fun to work with. After looking at several places for glasses frames, I walked into Focus. I knew what I wanted but had not been able to find the «just right» pair of frames. In less than three minutes I found exactly what I wanted! I love this place. Patrick Is a true professional. Great selection of frames without being overwhelming. Frames and lens are priced reasonably.

I had two prescriptions for bifocal glasses and decided to try Focus. When I went on Monday he was closed much like hairdressers are on Mondays. So, I came back at 10:30AM on Tuesday… guess what? He doesn’t open until 11AM!!! And closes at 5PM. And is closed on Sunday and Monday and is only open on Saturday from 11−4PM. A retail business… how does he survive? So, I went back at 2PM on Tuesday to find a stupid note on the door saying he WAS WALKING HIS DOG! SO, I waited and waited and waited. Finally left and went down the street to buy glasses from someone who takes business seriously! This business is a JOKE! His family and friends must have written all his good reviews. I don’t see it!

When my glasses broke recently, Patrick went out of his way to ensure they were replaced and returned to me without delay and at no cost. So I went to Patrick to order my first pair of prescription sunglasses in years. He recommended a great optometrist, and when I found out that my prescription had finally stabilized I was ready to splurge on a really nice pair of glasses. Patrick has a wonderful selection (including his «discount» room of discontinued styles). I put in my order, got my shades, and was perfectly content.
Fast forward a few weeks later, and one day while I’m out and about and wearing my glasses the frame breaks. Like, it cracked right through the round part of the frame that encases the lenses. Here’s where the fifth star comes in: Patrick set me up with a completely new set of frames free of charge because my first pair had broken unexpectedly. On top of that, when the pair I liked the most turned out to be more expensive than my original pair, Patrick didn’t charge me the difference! This is a shop owner who is truly a member of the community and will take care of you as a customer.
If my regular glasses ever break, I will buy a new pair from Patrick with zero hesitation.

I came to Patrick after having a less-​than-​positive experience trying on some Warby Parker glasses on my own. I felt like I had no idea what looked really flattering vs what was just stupid.
Patrick immediately picked out 10 great pairs of glasses, all of which I would have been happy to buy. He then helped me narrow down my choices. I felt so great after leaving. He’s positive and funny. On top of that, he knows his stuff. He’s really good at what he does.

I purchased a Groupon for new frames and so glad I did. I had an excellent experience with Patrick. I can take a long time to find frames that work for me and warned Patrick. But he found a half dozen frames for me to try on and all of them looked good. I did pick one frame and am very happy with them.
Service was excellent. I felt right at home and very comfortable. I went in on a Friday afternoon and got my new glasses by the next Tuesday. I can’t believe how quick it all was. I highly recommend Focus Opticians for a good selection, good advice and fun and fast service.
