Absolutely the best nail salon San Anselmo! Lee does an amazing job. Opposite Comforts for convenience. Super clean environment. Great spot for waxing etc.

This is a salon I have been going to for over 15 years. It is very clean and Li does the best pedicure I have ever had. She is an expert and a dear person as are the people who work with her. I cannot recommend this salon more highly.

After 12 years of great service from Li I would recommend this salon to everyone. She does a special gel fill for me that lasts over a month. As an artist and professional dancer I get that perfect finish to my hands and feet in a lovely, clean and relaxed atmosphere. Like family!

Pretty much the worst nail experience I’ve ever had. I wondered why this place was always empty and today I found out. I came in for a fill and a polish change. First off, the lady who changed my color on my toes saw that the polish was extremely dried out and decided to paint it on anyways. Obviously it looks splotchy and uneven. Meanwhile, the other lady, who I assume is the manager, was attempting to do my fill. She doesn’t clean out the dirt, nor does she do anything about my nails lifting. I asked her about it and she has me hop from the spa chair to the desk about 3 times and decides to just cut my nail under the acrylic. She was speaking nonstop in their native language to the other lady, which resulted in her telling me to sit back in the spa chairs so she could redo the polish change. The second job was not much better. She did not clean under my nails and every nail was filed unevenly. The nail polish was so old and thick that she couldn’t even paint over my whole nail. Of course she’s also in a hurry because she told a walk-​in that she had time for her in 20 minutes after just starting my fill. No paint on the sides of my nails but somehow paint is everywhere else. So frustrated, I went to another nail salon to change the polish on both my finger nails and toes NEVER coming here again.

This is a great salon. Lee is a wonderful manicurist, skilled and gentle. I have come to Lee for manicures for almost 10 years and have always been pleased with her work. The salon itself is very nice and very clean. Everything is always washed thoroughly. She remembers the colors that i have liked and really pays attention to me when I am there. When I am under stress and I bite off my nails, she has been my saviour! Her skill with applying acrylic nails is pure artistry… and never do I hear a «tsk tsk»! I have been there many times and notice that she gives this focused attention and skill to all her customers. In addition we have fun discussing the ins and outs of the world that we read about in People Magazine!
Definitely go there, I am very happy that I do.

I’ve been seeing Lee for a couple of years now consistently. She always works hard to accommodate me, often doing a mani/​pedi simultaneously with another worker. They do a great job of my nails, lots of chit-​chat and fun. Love the place.

My mother was coming into town in a few weeks and I thought I would buy a GC here so that she and my daughter could come in to spend some time together getting their nails done. My daughter was so excited to go get a mani/​pedi with grandmom, and I was excited to have a few hours to myself!
I bought the GC for $ 65 in advance so that this would be an easy experience for all of us on the day of. After the manicure my mom explained to her that they would be paying with a GC. HOWEVER, Lee was extremely rude to my mother and daughter claiming to have not sold the GC to me. She insisted on having my mother call me on her cell to confirm that I purchased the GC from them. When I spoke with her on the phone she asked me who sold me the gift certificate and for what services. I explained I wanted them to be able to both get a mani/​pedi. She wanted to know when I bought it and from who. I told her the gender of the person I purchased it from (didnt know the persons name) and couldn’t remember the exact date. but seriously what was the issue? It was on their stationary and my CC was billed. I couldn’t believe how rude she was being.
At this point my daughter was in tears and they left before she and grandma could even get their pedicures. Lee also insisted on keeping the unused portion of the GC and told my mom to just send me in when I wanted to get my nails done to use the other half – but without anything to take with them. My mother didnt want to press the issue since my daughter was already scared of Lee and just left. Like I want to go back in there for a pedicure myself? PLEASE.

I have gone to Lee for over twenty years, for acrylics, silk, regular manicures and pedicures, also waxing. She and her staff are sweet, attentive and conscientious, catering to many regulars. The salon is clean, and it is really nice that you can sometimes drop by on short notice and they will fit you in! No better salon in San Anselmo, and a big improvement over some in San Francisco. The massage chairs are a big plus.

What are the reviews about? I like to try a new place since the lady that does my nails in away. What a bad place. The lady that did my nails was rough unable to relax herself and with the famous line: «I do it for you»
Do what? Manicure was mediocre, nail polish was old and the only positive comment is: there was parking available in the area.
Run the other way if you know what a good manicure is all about.

I have been going there for years. My favorite nail salon and in beautiful San Anselmo. Lee is the a truly lovely person and does a great job.
