Sidekicks

I love this store! The clothes and jewelry are beautiful. Every item I have ever bought is quality and has worn well and is a perfect fit. The women that work at Sidekicks make me feel welcome and are helpful and kind. I have purchased items for my 84 year old mother-​in-​law, my 50 year old girlfriend and my 28 year old niece. It’s a store that kind of transcends age, which makes it a great place for gifts for everyone. The cashmere is gorgeous, silk is beautiful and I’m a huge fan of the large Johnny Was selection. I wanted to share my enthusiasm as this store is a hidden gem in West Marin.

This is the cutest store and great costumer service. I brought back a pair of jeans that wore out way to quickly and they replaced them! It was so great. The store itself is so nice. Stuff you buy and have forever.

Great salesperson. Turned me on to Johnny Was blouses which are great. My go to outfits for all occasions. Machine washable. Can’t. Wait to go back and buy some more.

Love this store! I am hooked on the Johnny Was shirts. Staff is wonderful and very helpful. Once you’ve been in a couple times and the staff gets go know you, they will quickly help you find clothes that you actually like and that suit your figure. I always leave here looking great!

I bought a really nice (and expensive) Biya cotton blouse. The same day that I bought it, I wore it, and it barely caught on a door knob and tore. I called the store 2 days later and asked if there was any possiblity that I could exchange it for another one and I was told, almost in a laughingly manner, «No, not if you caught it on something and it tore?» As if it were kinda ridulous that I even called to ask.
I understand that this is a small business and I really like to keep it local… but if this were nordsroms, there would be no question. Which I hate to say, is why I love nordstroms. And I understand that Sidekicks is not Nordtrom’s, but It’s unfornutate that the woman was demeaning, as well as she didn’t offer any other alternatives (i.e. «No, unfortunatley I can’t do an even exchange, but you are more than welome to bring it in and we can see about getting it stitched up for you»).
I can’t say that I’ll ever shop there again :(

Was happy to return to Sidekicks and find Comfy USA and Cutloose. Staff was friendly and helpful and I’ll definitely come back.

I am typically a very frugal clothes shopper, favoring Target, Thrift Stores, and sales at big box stores. I’ll even go years without buying any new clothes, BUT when I want to get something really special, I go to Sidekicks. The pieces that I have purchased from them are to me, major investments, but they are worth it. Everything I have ever bought from them I love. They are like pieces of art, and make me feel special and the sales staff are wonderful. I just shopped there yesterday and ended up wearing this fabulous new piece for a job interview today. I highly recommend Sidekicks!

Good place for basic clothing
They actually have this great line of t shirts by Glimma that I have fallen in love with. I like this place, but still am in mourning for my long time staple shopping heaven Easy Pieces which unfortunately had to close after the flood.
