Benavides Picture Framing

Disclaimer: I don’t get a lot of framing done, so I have limited experience. However, Benavides Framing was recommended to me by an artist friend… and if you walk inside, you’ll see that artists apparently like the place. That’s part of the charm for me; looking around the gallery and sneaking a peek at some frame-​works-​in-​progress. Since the shop is just doing its job, the crazy spread all around is not carefully arranged, which makes it even more appealing to me. Beautiful chaos.
Beyond that, the staff is pretty awesome. I appreciated their artsy eyes taking my ideas and tweaking them to give me a little something more than I expected. And I like the way that I went to the shop once to drop my stuff off, then called to check the status (much later) and was remembered by name.
