Phone call was handled well, driver was nice enough to come to my door because I was unable to come to the lobby, food came quickly, & my burger was the bomb like it was from Mississippi or something New entry: got the chicken pasta & mozzarella sticks last night … Yummy!

Ordered large works pizza minus green peppers. Asked to substitute peppers for tomatoes but they said no and xtra charge if wanted the tomatoes. Also ordered 10 piece spicy wings which was not spicy. The crust on pizza was like cardboard and a few of the wings was cooked to much. The stars are for the convenience of being delivered to our hotel room door and the man that delivered was very nice. Also the pizza was good if you could get past the texture of the crust. Wings that wasn’t overcooked also pretty decent.

I order from here all the time. delivery time is great. it isn’t the most amazing pizza and calzones in the city but it is really good. it has its own distinct taste and is still worthy of 5 stars. Ive never had a problem with Jimmys.

Service is so slow and rude at times. The restaurant was empty when we had dinner yet we waited over 30 minutes for our food. Pizza was just ok. Nothing special about this pizza place.

Jimmy’s Family Pizza on Fest St is AWESOME! It’s hard to come by vegan pizza and Jimmy will do that for you here! The pizza crust and pizza sauce is vegan and you can get a ton of veggies on the pizza like jalapeños, fresh garlic, mushrooms, chopped tomatoes, black olives, onions and more! The crust is regular style so not too thick and not too thin, it was so delicious! My girlfriend is vegetarian and loved her vegetarian pizza with cheese, garlic and olives. This pizza place is family owned and it’s pretty big inside with lots of tables, a dance area and arcade games. They even have a wheel you can spin to win free stuff like garlic bread and soda, etc. I will definitely be back!

Pizza was not my favorite. The crust wasn’t cooked all the way and the cheese just didn’t taste great nor the sausage on our pizza. Reheated pizza in our oven for better taste and sadly tasted the same. Although the fried mushrooms were ok. With a coupon we found on the table the total cost as much as a X-large pizza, 3 drinks and tokens at Peter piper pizza.

I had never tasted an Italian sub nor chicken salad as scrumptious as what these guys have. Not to mention that it was very feeling and I still had food leftover. The taste was great and I would definitely order again and this time some of their pizza because I’m sure it would taste just as great! The only down side to it was that they took an hour to deliver our food, if not this would be a 5.

I am being generous with giving this establishment a one star. If you don’t mind waiting an hour and a half for delivery of a cold pizza with more vegetables and minimal meat on «the works» pizza to only be over charged by the delivery person who then doesn’t know what to do! This is the pizza place for you if not then there are to many other competitors that do a much better job and I would recommend any of them over this place. Poor quality, poor service a loss loss combination.

Good pizza went there to order a large order for work and the owner was incredibly mean and did not want my business… won’t be getting food from here anymore!

It was very difficult to order, took about 8 minutes for some reason. Delivery time was very reasonable and the food smelled really good. I ordered chicken alfredo and extra garlic bread. The ranch wad incredibly salty, the bread was practically stale, the sauce was really watery and the chicken had that freezer taste to it. Maybe their pizza is better but now I don’t even want to find out.

If I could I wouldn’t even give them a star. Just pathetic. I placed an order with these guys for delivery and they said it would be 45 minutes. I asked if I could pay over the phone and they said they’d swipe my card when they arrive. I had to call them an hour and thirty minutes later to find out that they so called came and couldn’t find my place. That’s bull. If that were true I’m sure they would’ve called. Don’t order for these people.

I read all the reviews and it set my expectations high. I know a great local pizza place a few blocks from where I live in Atlanta and after reading the review, my expectations were up there. I ordered a large pepperoni and italian sausage pizza and an order of 5 teriyaki wings. I asked for the wings to be cooked a little long. They were not, but I enjoyed them more than the pizza. I was expected fresh ingredients and sliced italian sausage. That is not what I got. It tasted like a run of the mill pizza station(a little better than many of the fast food places, but that’s not saying much). If you want genuine NY style pizza, this is not it. Sorry San Antonio! Maybe the next one will fare better.

Third time to order delivery from this place. Third time it’s wrong and OMG it was soooo wrong. They are now batting three for three. Not complaining about just one mess up. They are now repeat offenders in the delivery department. I just paid 30 bucks for a pizza that was missing toppings. I don’t mind paying for what I ordered, but I need to get it. This was mushy and not appetizing at all. The customer service was good when I took it back to get my refund(the reason for the two stars) and he promised to have the owner call me. I don’t care to talk to anyone… I just simply will start to order from dominos or something… Needless to say… I’m now at a Chinese food restaurant when all I wanted to do was order in and relax.

Ordered pizza and wings. They delivered. The pizza was good! The wings were ok. So glad that they deliver cause I get tired of The franchises and would rather have a local making my pizza!

Ordered the chicken fettuccine to go. Big mistake. Epic. Don’t do it, you’ve been warned, unless you have a bucket to hold it in. Sloppier than.well. pretty doggone sloppy. Shoulda served it with a straw and a bib instead of a fork. The bread was over cooked on one side and just flat out burned on the other side. I feel like I will be seeing it again sooner rather than later. Oh the agony…

My husband and I like to order from Jimmy’s since it’s pretty close to our neighborhood and the same old Dominos or Papa Johns can get boring. We like the variety that Jimmys offers for delivery. They have fish, burgers, pizza, appetizers… it’s awesome. Delivery time is the typical 45 minutes to an hour, but that’s fine with us. My favorite is their fried pickles and double crust pizza(same as stuffed crust). The prices are fair and the customer service is always friendly. Nice option when you want to snuggle up on the sofa in your PJs and watch a movie.

Southtown is filled with so many spots to go to The Bluestar Complex, Eddie’s Tacohouse, The Madhatter’s Tea to name a few. What is so cool about these spaces are that they were forged in part by grassroots, family and community patrons. Who in turn have allowed businesses to pass the good feelings back to them. Jimmy’s Family Pizza, a restaurant that offers up good pizza and above all does alot to help the community, is one of those special places.
It is like one of those spots where the people that own a business live there also. It is pretty big. Long, empty tables line the dinning room. There are some old arcade games along the doorway. Glamor Shot pictures of customers hang along side their walls. In addition shirts of schools and community teams they help with fundraisers surround every nook and cranny of the space. At the entrance there is a counter where you place your order. They have a pretty good amount of toppings as well as pizza sizes to choose from. In addition they do offer calzones and spaghetti, but the pizza is the star here. Again since their pizza takes awhile to cook and if you are used to the turn over time like at Little Cesar’s Pizza, your impatience might get the best of you. If I might be so bold to suggest to you, get an appetizer. My suggestion would be to try their fried macaroni bites, they are absolutely delicious and wonderful. Don’t forget to try it with the marinara sauce. I decided on a pizza that had toppings meant for carnivores and the other half, vegetarian options. After the tasty appetizers were finished the pizza came out hot and bubbling with cheese. The crust is crispy but not too crunchy. The cheese and toppings were fresh. The tomatoes still ripe and red. The peperoni and various meats worked great with the cheese. While I do like my pies a bit more saucy, there is something special about Jimmy’s Pizza. With each bite you can tell they take pride in making their food here. You can also sense that they enjoy having their business and living in the community in which they serve. On the price front it can be well, pricey. Pizza toppings, appetizers and drinks can all add up. But rest assured you are paying for quality food with both fresh and delicious ingredients. The place never gets packed so it’s a good spot for after a night at First Friday, which is my ritual. Or get it To-Go, but call early in advance, it does get slammed with callers. It is definitely a great fixture to Southtown. And I have seen, on particular nights, Jimmy moonlights as a DJ. If you go there, as I have sen on occasion he will spin some of his music. And you can shake your booty while you feast on their fine pizza cuisine.(4 and a half stars.) p. s. It is «BYOB!»

Just had Jimmy’s delivered to our hotel room after an evening of walking around the Riverwalk area. We ordered after seeing that they were the only place open at 9:30pm on a Thursday(besides Pizza Hut and I can get that at home). The wait was 45 minutes, but we didn’t mind that too much. We got a works pizza — and it was delicious! I was really pleased with the crust — thin but bubbly, just the right combo of chewy and crispy. The toppings were great and there was plenty of cheese and sauce. Jimmy’s hit the spot for our late night pizza craving!
