They do NOT answer their phone, instead they drop your call. I tried calling for almost an hour. No answer. If you are going to be available for pick-up/delivery, answer the phone!

I can’t speak for everything else on the menu but the walnut chicken was so good the first time I had it, I never wanted anything else. The Rangoon’s are very good as well. I highly rec it!

Funky smell! Didn’t sit down to eat as the smell was too much to handle. Did order Boba tea and service was friendly. Will consider returning when I see a review that let’s me know the smell is gone.

The food was delicious; my only issue was that I asked for water when I sat down, but the server said that iced tea came with lunch, so I said«ok». I ended up ordering the Chicken Pad Thai(so flavorful, I highly recommend), which was not on the lunch menu, so when I received the check it had a $ 1.95 charge for the iced tea. I pointed out to the server that I would not have ordered the iced tea had she not pointed out it came with lunch, and had even asked for water initially. She simply said sorry and did not adjust the check. This was my first time dining here, and in my opinion, adjusting off $ 1.95 from a $ 17.00 total bill would have been the right thing to do, in order to ensure I come back.

Decided to give this place one more try, and unfortunately I won’t be returning. The funky smell of the restaurant should have been a giveaway that something would be off. I got their lunch special of lemon chicken with fried rice and an eggroll. The chick was hard and rubbery with no flavor whatsoever. It tasted like chicken from the frozen bag section. Bleh! The rice was hard and flavorless. The lemon sauce had a very strong pungent smell and the taste was strong like it had a chemical of some sort. I didn’t eat any of it. The only saving grace was the eggroll. Save your time and find another Chinese joint.

My wife and I were hungry for Chinese so we decided to try this since we live relatively close. What a delightful surprise ! I had the Sesame Chicken, was very good, broccoli was green and fresh, cooked perfect. My wife had the Hunan Chicken, although she asked for them to tone down the spice(as it’s normally a hot dish), which they did. Lots of delicious veggies, very tasty. We both had a boba tea(we had it once before here also). They are delicious(passion fruit has been our favorite so far) but next time we’ll stick with hot tea with dinner as the boba teas are like a smoothie, delicious, but filling by themselves. To Sheena below, who wrote the bad review, everyone has their right to an opinion, but first of all that pic you showed could not have been both a before and after, like you wrote in the caption. No way. Their servings are presented very nicely. And how is ONE pic both a before and an after ?? Obviously, her meal in the pic had been thrashed around a bit and eaten, so not sure why that looks so awful after having eaten some of it. I honestly think Sheena never had Chinese before, but that thickish yellow(more orange than yellow actually) is how some Chinese dishes are served. Usually, the General Tsao’s Chicken has this type of thick sauce on it, not always a Sesame Chicken, but I thought it was delicious, and very good. So if you like a typical General Tsao’s Chicken, this Sesame Chicken will satisfy. The staff was all very friendly. My wife and I are keeping our fingers crossed this place sticks around. Seems if you are not a Mexican restaurant or a typical bar food or steakhouse around here, well, let’s just say the one sad thing about San Antonio in general is the lack of diversity when it comes to interesting food places. Keep it up Chopstix Café and Thank You !!

nice surprise. very close to home with plenty of parking inside the mcds strip mall. very casual restaurant and attentive servers. i ordered the triple delight with shrimp, scallops and krab with snow peas, onion and water chestnuts. it came with fried rice(i opted for white rice) and egg roll. i ordered the thai ice tea with boba. yummy all around. great price for lunch portions too. they got the 5 stars for having chinese speaking employees. will be back.

Love the food and it is great for the price and location. It’s not PF Changs, but the people are very friendly and the quality is great and food arrives quickly. Great if on a hurried lunch break!

Locally owned, authentic. I asked for suggestions of what to order as I like spicy food. They adjusted the heat of the dish for me. Food was delicious with generous portion. Nice people. Got a menu when I left as they do deliver in stone oak. Will return :)

Nice little hole in the wall with great bubble tea! Went there for lunch and the people were nice and food came out pretty quickly. Relatively new place and will definitely be back again.

No no and no! LoMein is horrible, rice is salty but that’s about it, sesame chicken is edible but that’s even hard to say. The chicken and beef were so slimy and mushy in the lomein. The sesame chicken sauce was a thikish yellow sauce… never seen that. The egg rolls, egg drop soup, price, and Bobo tea were very good which is why they are getting a 2. I told the waitress I didn’t like the food and I had to request a discount which I got ½ off the lomein. I would only go back for the bobo tea.

Coming from growing up in the New York/New Jersey area, we have never yet found the quality Chinese restaurant until today. Angie and her staff at Chopstix is a wonderful place with the freshest high quality cusine in San Antonio!

Excellent new Chinese restaurant(formerly ThaiLao88), owned by a native Chinese family. Offers a wide variety of Chinese cuisines from all over China. My favorites are the spicier dishes from Hunan and Sichuan. Formal grand opening is planned for Feb 19 — Chinese New Year Day. The only Chinese delivery and takeout in northern Stone Oak.
