Great prices and friendly service + 30 min for mounting/​balancing at 5PM is quick! I love getting new tires

I’ve gone to this location for a few years now, not only because of close proximity to my house, but the high level of service you receive here. Jeff, the manager, is great and is excellent at running the shop smooth and efficient. I had a flat tire today and Josh M. assisted me with getting a new tire and back on the road with extreme professionalism! This is the place to go for any tire needs for your car!

Usually go to this place just not this location because the better prices of course but had better service from everyone here! Super friendly and quick. Recommend 100%

I have yet to leave a review on Unilocal,but the service was so great here I had to! The manager and staff were so helpful and accommodating. You can defiantly see they work together as a team, which allowed me to be in and out in 30 minutes with a new tire!

I’ve been here many times. I love the honesty and customer service. The guys here are quick to help and will even meet you outside! One day I went in and need to purchase four new tires that they did not have in stock. The manager himself dropped what he was doing a rushed over to another discount tire to pick it up for me. He was able to get back in a timely manner. Not to mention they bought everyone in their shop a platter of sandwiches.

I came in today with a flat because of a «nail hole». I was immediately greeted outside after only taking several steps away from my car. It turned out that the tire was beyond repair and 3 out of my 4 tires were getting somewhat «bald» (I knew that they were getting somewhat bad). The service agent showed me alternatives of different types of tires. I went with the medium priced tires and ordered 3 replacements. The entire process was beyond belief. It’s the quickest turnaround I’ve ever experienced. I was in at 8:20am and before 9am and the price was more than reasonable.

The people are always friendly here! Good phone courtesy, too. Free rotation and balance for life when you buy your tires from them.
And the guy just offered me a bottle of water… Good service!

They check air pressure for free, send reminder emails to rotate your tires, have financing available, top name brand tires and wheels, and very reasonable pricing!

1^st visit — got new tires and RR sensor changed. Tony was friendly and wasn’t too pushy about upselling when I said didn’t want it. The wait time was abt 2 hrs which is kind of expected.
The guy who handed me the keys after my car was done said ‘the tire pressure sign should turn off in abt 24 hrs, if not I should bring it back and they’ll reset it’.
Overall, I give 3 n ½ stars for the visit.
2^nd visit– five days later the tire pressure sign is still on. I take it back 2 discount tires to reset it and Tony diagnosed, that my rear tire pressure sensor is out. When I told him I just got it replaced the last time I was here, his response was ‘when they changed you tires they didn’t put the wheels back in da same order they took it out so, another one of your sensor is busted’. Me: In the same wheel as the one I got replaced the last time? Tony: I don’t know what to tell you. It happens a lot when customers get only the faulty sensor is fixed. They should change all the sensors at the same time. (Right… even if the others are working just fine).
What are the odds that right rear tire pressure sensor stopped working twice within a span of week?
They should have better customer service than blaming the car and taking some responsibility when they screw up!!!

Got our tires rotated here while visiting San Antonio for a few days. The wait time was about an hour, which I was expecting… we didn’t make an appointment or anything. Friendly employees and great service!

My husband and I are relocating from San Antonio to Minnesota in a few days so I wanted to get my tires checked before the 1200 + mile road trip.
Immediately after parking I was greeted at my car door by Philip. I told him the situation and was pretty upfront about the fact that I don’t know a thing about tires. Philip took the time to look at my tires and gave me an evaluation of the wear on each of them individually. He suggested replacing only the rear two (I was ready to replace all four) and helped me pick out great tires for the best value. Oh, and not to mention: I was in and out of there in under 20 minutes– AMAZING!
Being a woman whose husband is often unavailable to help with these sort of matters, I am no stranger to being taken advantage of by male-​dominated industries. I am grateful to have found a place whose workers are honest, professional, and really looking out for the best interest of their customers. Well done!

My new-​to-​me Mini Countryman has run flat tires. I was fully aware and ready for the cost to replace tires being greater than normal. I hoped, though, that it would not be so soon. While on my lunch break, I visited the Randolph Brooks on Austin Highway. My Mini flashed an alert letting me know that I had low air in one of my tires. Unfortunately, the tire had split on the side and air would not be sufficient. I went to a Goodyear tire shop and asked them to take a look. They wanted nearly $ 400 for one matching tire. $ 400?! For one?! ¡‘Tas loco! I left hoping that I could get a better price. Lucky for me, Discount Tire was less than a mile away. DT offered me the same tire as Goodyear for $ 260. Then, they one-​upped their offer and found me a Pirelli for $ 160. The representative suggested I go with a Bridgestone which was a better quality tire (better warranty) and was $ 170. So now I had three tires suggestions all considerably cheaper than the one tire offered at Goodyear. The tires were delivered to my location and under an hour. I am leaving here with two new tires plus a warranty on all four tires (including the two already on my car) for $ 550. This is my first visit to this particular location, but this is not my first great experience with Discount Tire. It’s just the first time that I quickly realized how much I was saving here. I think Discount Tire has made a customer for life.

too bad I can’t give zero stars. I went in just to have tires balanced and rotated on my brother’s old Impreza.
The guy tried to shove a new set of tires down my throat with some bullshit sales tactic– showing me the rack of tires painted different colors. My tires were in the «yellow zone». Plenty of tread left but he still insisted I needed new ones. I said I didn’t want tires and wouldn’t be interested in $ 400+ dollars. He said «what would it take to get you these tires today?»
Ha! Same crap the sleazy car dealers use to try to pressure people to buy cars they don’t need or want. I walked out.
Bu-​bye Discount. Have bought lots of tires from you over the years– never again.

While getting my brakes fixed at Christian Brothers (a block away, and also recommended), I walked in to find out about tires. I got a reasonable quote and told them I would be back after to install the tires.
The brakes took an hour longer, but the Discount people took me in with no questions asked, saying they would be done within an hour. They were done within a half hour, and my car is floating on a cloud.
I made use of their 6-​month, 0% interest credit card, so I don’t have to pay the bulk of it for 6 months. All around, I could not have been more impressed by the service and quality of the products at this store.

Good guys good prices. Discount Tire at its best, buncha good guys able to get you in and out fast. This location is fairly busy but they handled the line fast.

Fast, friendly, polite. Met my expectations. That combined with price keeps me coming back.

There was other stuff I wanted more but finally had to buy a new set of tires. Online research showed me that new Michelins were what I needed. (Plus Mom’s advice: Always buy good shoes and good tires!) I shopped (online) lots of places to get the best price and convenience. Discount Tire had the best price even without factoring in the free follow-​up rotations. I picked the Austin Highway location because it seemed convenient.
I received courteous, prompt service. The place was clean, the waiting area was comfortable. The salesman did try to sell me the replacement warranty for another $ 28 per tire, which generally is not a good
investment so I declined and he didn’t push any more.
I was out of there in about an hour and a half even without an appointment. I’ll go back to this place for my free rotation every 5000 miles. That sure beats what the dealerships charge for the same service. All in all, given that I had to buy tires, I am glad that I used Discount Tire.
