How stupid do you think I am. My wife is trying to send a piece of ¾ in plywood that measures 18×36. she was told that FedEx does not have a box big enough to ship it and we have to go to Home Depot to buy a new box. We bought the only box they would ship and it cost $ 20. We go back and I inquired as to why the could not use the largest box the have but just not open it up into the box shape. Just put the wood piece into the unfolded box and the flaps would cover the entire piece with room to spare. All the had to be done is wrap the wood with foam and tape the box shut. It would be a large flat box then. Oh no that will not work because it would get caught on the conveyor belt when it is shipped. Are you serious! I was so pissed that she would insult my intelligence that I had to walk out of the store. My wife stayed and ended up paying to have the item shipped, for over $ 50. Are you kidding me! It is a painted piece of wood that was for her mother’s birthday. $ 70 to ship a piece of wood that should have cost $ 20 to ship. I wanted to go back in and get the package back but the wife wouldn’t let me. Big companies just fleecing their customers. I will never use them again. I have used Ups and Usps and never had this kind of problem. Truly sorry! Save your money. After all they will probably just throw your package out of their truck and over your fence or just throw it across your yard.
