A local chain with 7 locations. We tried the 3 meat plate with beef brisket, chicken, and ribs with okra and mac and cheese as the sides. Lisa had the grilled salmon with asparagus and rice. For a modest $ 1.99 each we added some catfish, fried and baked. The mild BBQ sauce was on a little thick for my liking. Next time I’ll get it on the side. The ribs were tender and quite good. The chicken was moist and tasty throughout. The beef brisket was in thick chunks. Sides were good. The salmon was cooked beautifully rare. Awesome. The rice was creamy and absolutely delicious. The fried catfish was crispy and good but the baked was bursting with flavor and amazing as it was dusted with cajun seasonings. No room for dessert unfortunately but the peach cobbler was calling. Next time!

I’m sorry but I’m not a fan of this place! The sauce is watery and the beans are plain. If you like Bill Miller’s, you’ll like this place too.

I’m a Big Bib guy, but had to try this place at least once, and didn’t really disappoint. Still like Big Bib a little more, Grady’s has lots of good BBQ. Just hard to choose between them and A&W cross the street. Mostly luv their brisket. Reminds me a little bit of Luling’s City Market. Mostly every BBQ place like this reminds of the City Market. No fancy or upscale looking restaurant. But I suggest their brisket and ribs. Plus their Chicken Tenders.

Went in with low expectations and they didn’t even meet that. Dry BBQ sandwich. Only two slices of meet on the whole thing. Will not be back.

Great food and service but the cleanliness was under par today. We have eaten here many times and it has always been spotless. Edit they lost the star 17 minutes to get to plates of food to go. there was 1 other customer in the restaurant and it took 17 stinking minute for 2 plates of food to go. Edit #2 when i got home i took the plates out of there bags and noticed some sauce in the bottom of one, thinking nothing of it i sat down and placed the to go container on my lap and began eating. Seconds later my lap was full of terryaki sauce. 2 holes in the sides causing this lovely event. Wow just wow I’m not happy. Not going back there till there manager takes control of there store.

I prefer mom anda pop bbq joints unlike Bill Millers orry Gradys, however I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken strip basket was full of 3 huge pieces of chicken anda seasoned fríes. The catfish platter came with 2 or 3 pieces of cornmeal batter fish yum! Also on the plate wasnt coleslaw, pinto beans and seasoned fríes. The staff greeted uso with a smile, delivered the food to the table and thanked uso foro visiting. I would return because it is closeby and the serving portions are adequate.

Grady’s beats the heck out of Bill Miller any day. Grady’s is a local chain mostly in San Antonio but with a couple other locations in Texas. I had the brisket which was good — not very fatty and with lots of rub on it. The sausage was decent. But the turkey was really divine. Well seasoned and juicy, it was a great alternative to heavier BBQ options. Can’t wait to try the catfish sometime in the future. For sides, there’s fried okra, other veggies and the regular BBQ options. The only negative was the sauce, which is pretty salty for BBQ. It goes well with the meats, but could be toned down a bit given how salty things are to being with. This location is really nice for a BBQ joint — lots of seating and on a picturesque little plot off FM78. Totally better than that other chain BBQ joint in town.
