Hair Matters By Jaymee

Jaymee did a great job with my hair! I have gone to other stylist that do the complete opposite of what I ask for, so I was a little skeptical at first since it was my first time going with her. I explained to her that I hadn’t done much to my hair since I moved from Austin over 6 months ago and she knew exactly what to do. My bellagio turned out as I wanted it and cut the damaged tips of my hair without making it look short.
Not only is she a great stylist, but has a great personality and gave me great tips for my hair. I will definitely be going back for another visit! u

It isn’t often that I rate a business 5 stars; Hair Matters by Jaymee deserves 5 plus! Jaymee is ALWAYS professional. Unlike most hair stylists I have been to, she is very respectful of her clients’ time and doesn’t use her phone excessively while servicing a client. She carefully listens to her clients’ needs and provides sound hair care advice. She also offers complimentary water and coffee. Pricing is fair and reasonable and she does excellent work on all hair types. (And she uses Paul Mitchell products!) I highly recommend visiting Hair Matters by Jaymee!

After so much highlighting, I was frustrated that my hair was starting to feel like hay! There has got to be a better way! When I said this to Jaymee at Hair matters (located inside Salons by JC) she replied «Yes, there is!»
I initially decided to try this salon because I wanted to find a hair dresser close to home and someone who would also work with me on reducing the amount of processing done to my hair. I’m even willing to book more frequent appointments so that I can space out the processing or coloring of my hair between cuts — this wasn’t an option with my schedule when I was driving 45+ minutes one way to a hair salon.
Just FYI, there is another stylist at Hair Matters who is very friendly and also seems quite capable so if you book at Hair Matters you do have options.
Feeling ready for a change, not just with the cut but also with the color, I brought some pictures I had saved on Pinterest to show Jaymee. We looked at several of the pictures and we talked about my long term goals. Jaymee described exactly how the current cut would grow into what I am wanting (less maintenance) and gave me some good ideas for future color changes (less processing). Yay!
My cut looks great and so far it’s very easy to work with. I am now using less product in my hair which is another plus. I am really excited that I found Jaymee and I am looking forward to trying her new ideas at my next appointments!
