.. Please watch out they will keep your deposit and make up lies about stuff that is damaged and not show proof and say it’s been fixed already when you want to go by next day to see due to you clearly know there was nothing there. We had a private baby shower And we made sure that the place was clean make sure you take pictures after your private party so you can get your deposit back or even ask for a walk through before you take off to insure that you get your deposit back they are SHADY … Also they say no colored napkins on contract it says no where that you can’t have printed napkins they need to change it to say only white napkins allowed just like you can only have scotch tape. Be careful if you book here they will try every way to say you are lying when all your asking for is proof and you are ok with paying the fees if there indeed was Damaged I’ve rented places before and never had a bad experience but obviously this company has no care for customers. Please watch who you do business with

As everyone else has said, beautiful interior, relaxed and professional door guys, bartenders were quick and adequate, and the $ 1 drinks special really blew my mind; I’m talking $ 1 anything, even top shelf liquor. The bottle service and reservations was a breeze and it was efficient. The dj, just so and so. The music felt so stale, and obviously pre mixed. Probably heard one song from all of 2016. And of course that vibe translates into the crowd, which is barely even a crowd to start with. Minimal dancing, and a lot of wallflowers just staring. I went on a Saturday, so maybe it’s better on Fridays?! If this place had more crowd, and better music, it’d be my go to spot every weekend as it checks all of my other boxes. 3.5÷5

We came here on a Saturday after Fiesta. The drinks were super cheap and great! The music was on-point. I just wish there was a better crowd. After talking to the bar-tender I found out it was because everyone was still at Fiesta. Definitely coming back and hoping that was true. Beautiful interior. Great place to bring friends.

A group of friends and I went to this on a Friday night(3 people) for bottle service but we were rudely turned away. It was explained to us we had to have more people for bottle service to which we explained more people were coming, we were early(total was 8). As we were about to leave, someone came running out of the business to let us know we could to wait until more people came. The night went OK after everything was situated, but I was completely disturbed by the way it was handled. I left a comment a facebook about how displeased I was with the way things were handled. Shortly after that one of my band members was playing there so he BEGGED me to come to check out the spot for our gigs. I reluctantly gave in of course but not before telling him what happened a week or so before. He convinced me it was just bad luck. I approached the bar for a drink, to my surprise the bartender, Lindsey(pretty sure that was her name) approached me saying, «You were the one who was talking ish about us on Facebook.» Appalled, I explained to her what had happened, to which her response was, «Well your friend seemed to have a good time.» I finished my drink and hastily left. I later found out I was double charged for my drink!!! This is an example poor customer interaction. You will unnecessarily be called out on your complaint & punished for doing so. From recent ratings it seems as if this is not a typical thing but poor customer interaction speaks volumes about the moral & ethics of the company as a whole. I am completely appalled cause it is not a bad place.

I got married at this venue! Also had my baby shower here! This place is super modern and contemporary. The owners are great and the rate was perfect. I have shared my most precious memories at Ivory Lounge and highly recommend for any event!

We had been here a while back, not sure why it took us so long to return! Saturday was busy but a good crowd, great music and $ 1 drinks! What more could we ask for! I liked that it was clean and I wasn’t afraid to sit down! Will definitely be returning soon!

This lounge is tucked away in the corner of a shopping center, right next to a laundromat. When I first got there, I was really skeptical about what I was getting myself into. But, I was surprised to find that I really enjoyed my night at Ivory Lounge! If you go, definitely bring a large group of people with you. This is not the place for a 2 – 3 person group, unless you just want to chill(in which case, it may be too loud to do so). The music is by request, but most of the time its a mixture of salsa dance music, top 40s, hip hop, popular club songs, and basically all the upbeat dance music you would expect to find in a club. There’s plenty of seating, but they’re pretty much all reserved for private parties/table buyers. They have a pretty big dance floor that can fit around 40 people, and the entire lounge is white and decorated with neon lights. THEBEST part about this place is that they have 1 $ drinks before 11PM. And the drinks afterwards, aren’t even that expensive! My friend’s tab was only 13 $ after spending half the night at the bar ordering drinks. Will definitely be coming back, especially because it would be cheaper to pre-game here than at home tbh.

So I finally gave in to my friend to go check this place out with him since he insists on it every Saturday. Really the only reason I hadn’t is because I usually just frequent South Town. He was always so insistent because they have $ 1ANYTHING on Saturdays from 9:30 to 11:00. I thought no way, that sounds too good to be true and I’m sure there is some kind of catch especially since there is no cover charge. Well no there was no catch. I ordered a Stella and a shot of Fire Ball and my friend ordered a Dos XX and a shot of Patron and it came out to $ 4.33! It really was a whole dollar plus tax, but I think I can handle the whole eight cents per drink. It was a no brainer why it was so busy, but not to the point of people stepping on your toes and spilling drinks on you. It was a great atmosphere and the décor was very unique, unlike any other place in town. It was also very clean and it didn’t have that typical bar funk smell. You can definitely tell it is meticulously maintained, especially with all of the white furniture. The DJ had a lot of energy and was playing a great mix of music that really got the crowd into it. Speaking of the crowd, I was especially impressed with that. This city has a reputation of having a lot of clubs that are hood but they definitely didn’t fall in to that category. For a second I thought it was my imagination, but there were more girls there than guys. The ratio had to at least be 4 to 1, a rarity that is usually the other way around. Some more of our friends ended up showing up so we decided to get a bottle. It was $ 75 and with tax/tip it came out to $ 96 which was also another awesome deal. And it wasn’t for a cheap bottle either, it was for Grey Goose! The bottle list you can choose from are all premiums too. Our server stayed on top of it, really important because I hate when you get bottle service somewhere and your server is nowhere to be found. At one point, the Manager even came over and asked us if we needed anything. We had a great time and I highly recommend this place. Everyone there was really cool, killer drink specials, and most importantly it was FUN!

Very disappointed with this place. We had a surprise birthday party there in the VIP area. It sucked, there was no waitstaff cleaning up area or taking orders. We started with the $ 97 bottle & was going to order another one, however due to the bad service we decided not to. The lines from bar were horribly long. When we reserved the VIP area, we asked if we can have a certain song played for our guess of honor; they said sure. So we get there & asked the DJ to play«Lady Marmalade» for the Burlesque theme party we’ve planned. The DJ said it was an «old» song and would maybe play later… Yet he ends up playing«Tootsie Roll». A much older song then what we requested! WTH!!! Not only was service terrible but bathrooms were disgusting. We are not going back, in the end we did make the best of it. I guess for being $ 97VIP, you get what you pay for. Do not waste your night there! #ghettocrowd

If this is an «upscale lounge» then Denny’s is fine dining. This is the Dollar General of «upscale». You can’t call yourself upscale when you’re located in a strip mall man c’mon. This place is trash.

Beyond the dress code, there is a discriminatory vibe at this place that is recognizable to conscious patrons of this particular establishment. As a recent East Coast transplant, I have explored the night-life throughout the MSA of San Antonio for about three years now. I have not and will not recommend this lounge to people of color, especially those of the Diaspora(both Hispanic and other). I personally reached out to this lounge on social media and asked if they would be willing to diversify their music playlist(s); they simply replied«we don’t play that music here».

Where to start… My girlfriend and I decided at the last minute that we would throw a birthday party for myself. I’d been to the Ivory Lounge before and remembered that it didn’t get crowded which was fine for me because there would just be friends and family coming. I called to make a reservation for VIP on Friday(1÷30÷15) for Saturday(1⁄31). I spoke to a girl named Lindsey who asked me a series of questions… how many people in my party, what kind of music do we enjoy and then she asked me for my name. I told her it’s «Terrik M». She asked me to hold and came back 10 seconds later to tell me they were booked up for the next 4 weeks. I had just spent 3 minutes talking to Lindsey the VIPMANAGER but she didn’t know they were booked for the next month until she got my somewhat ethnic sounding name. I asked if she could take my number to give me a call if there was a cancellation. ***She told me there was already a waiting list and that I wouldn’t be able to get on.*** I hung up with Lindsey and called my girlfriend. My conversation with the VIP Manager, Lindsey, felt sketchy so I told my girlfriend to call. Two minutes later she called to let me know that Lindsey booked her. Yeah And it gets worse. Lindsey told my girlfriend that the FIRST bottle is sold at $ 100 and each additional bottle is $ 75(per their website). When we get to Ivory Lounge they pointed my girlfriend to her area… yes pointed, no escort. We sit down and after 10 minutes our VIP waitress shows up. She wishes my girlfriend a happy birthday and thanks her for choosing Ivory Lounge to celebrate. My girlfriend informed the waitress that it was actually my birthday and proceeds to tell her what happened the day before. She apologized but denied knowing anything. Everyone was upset about the perceived racism that Ivory Lounge had displayed but we agreed that nothing would be said until we were leaving… so much for that plan. When the waitress comes back she tells us that bottles are NOT $ 75 but instead are $ 165. In an attempt to clarify the price on the bottles, I ask to speak to the manager. Once we get it straight that the price on their website isn’t the actual price of the bottles the manager proceeds to explain, or attempt to explain, why my girlfriend was able to get a reservation and why I wasn’t. A cancellation. Really??? See all those stars in the first paragraph? What happened to the list? I told the manager that I really didn’t care about that and I just wanted to enjoy my evening without someone screwing it up. He then said(no lie) «But you just accused us of being racist and I don’t appreciate that». My reply, «just let me enjoy my night». Right after, he had security remove me from the premises. They wouldn’t let me get my girlfriend or any of the other guests that were present. They threatened me with arrest for trespassing(I’m a lawyer, by the way). We left and took our party down the street where our money was appreciated. The staff was rude. And liars. Instead of trying to make me believe that Friday was an anomaly, they just reinforced that they may, in fact be racist. Not sure about the bottle prices… they may actually be $ 75 for non-Blacks. lol jk But seriously, we were told $ 75 on the phone but quoted $ 165 in the club. You figure it out. I’ll never go back nor would I recommend Ivory Lounge for any upwardly mobile, progressive thinking person. People go to clubs to get away from the exact things you’ll run into at the Ivory Lounge.

Definitely a hidden gem! It has a great look, nice and clean on the inside(girls bathrooms too!). The dj and drinks specials on a Friday were insane! $ 3 you call it on anything in house?! Where else in SA can you find a patron shot or good quality martini for $ 3 on a Friday. The place has a stone oak vibe without being bougie. Juan was our bartender and did a great job keeping our drinks filled. 2 downsides… 1) never really got busy. We stayed till 130 but ivory never picked up beyond 20 – 30 people for a Friday night. What a shame too since the music was a great mix. 2) no dress code– I get it… You want to try and drum up business but dress codes bring in a certain type of people and keep a certain atmosphere going. When I first walked in there was a lady in sweats… No joke. What can I say? Welcome to SA Will definitely go back on Fridays & give it another shot!

Great DJ and excellent eye candy. Club smelled funny though. I hope I’m not high off it. About 98% hispanic but the people were friendly and nice on a Saturday night

This place has potential to be decent. The furniture is nice, the drinks are dirt cheap — but the dropped styrofoam ceiling and the view of strip malls from the window do not add to the ambiance. The most disappointing part was the music — it says the have a dj and play house music. Well, they have a man who stands in the front & acts like he is dj-ing, but it’s a compilation of premixed music. And not good music, but lame radio hits from Jay-Z, Gwen Stefani, etc. Ultimtaley it’s not a lounge, but a converted store in a strip mall that has white furniture & plays dance music. If it’s what you like you’ll love this place.

$ 3 drinks all night. No cover. Relaxed dress code. Easy parking. Good music. What more do you want in a lounge? My wife & I visited this place a few times, & enjoyed ourselves. It’s a lounge, not a club, so it is small. But that’s to be expected. Not sure what you/people are looking for, or expecting out of a lounge with a full bar, but it met our expectations.

Recently I was in San Antonio visiting a friend for her birthday and she decided to celebrate at Ivory Lounge. I always see my SA friends posting pictures on FB from there and so I figured it was pretty popular, but I didn’t really know much more about this place. I am originally from New Braunfels so I am very familiar with San Antonio. I knew it was somewhere on Fredericksburg, just not too sure exactly where. I must admit I was kind of leery because certain parts of Fredericksburg Road, like inside the loop, are not so desirable. But then other parts are in the Medical Center so it’s just one of those SA roads around there that has good and bad parts, like Wurzbach or Vance Jackson. But luckily it wasn’t inside, it was outside the loop. I did pass it once because it is a little tucked away in a shopping center. But the sign is quite visible and certainly not hard to find. I can tell a lot about a club when I first pull into the parking lot. Like if there are a lot of people just hanging around their car for some odd reason and what type of cars are there. I say this because if I see a lot of cars with blaring music on 28“s, definitely not my kind of place! There was not a single person just standing around in the parking lot and the cars were average with actually a few nice ones parked up front. As we walked up, two guys were being denied entry by the doorman because he told them that there was a dress code and that the club did not allow sagging pants. AMEN! That drives me completely insane to see people wearing their pants sagging with their underwear hanging out. The doorman was very polite and welcomed us as we walked up. He wasn’t your typical muscle head bouncer with attitude and he was wearing a jacket. Another plus in my book when you walk up to a club and see this instead of a chessey t-shirt that says security. I also saw a Police officer working security standing off to the side which always makes me feel safe. We walked in and WOW! I was completely shocked and lost for words, something that doesn’t happen often for me! It was just absolutely beautiful and totally not what I was expecting. Very stylish, modern, and futuristic looking. All of the furniture is white and everything else accented with silver, mostly steel. Whoever designed this place is obviously professional. Doesn’t look shoddy or unfinished like a lot of clubs do. It reminded me of the clubs in South Beach, no joke. It was not too big or small in size. We easily saw our friends and went over to their VIP booth which was really cool looking. Shortly after the waitress brought out our bottle with a huge sparkler, very cool for all the pictures we took. The waitress came around often to check on us and kept the table clean and mixers replenished. At one point we went to the bar and the bartender was very polite and quick. The shots we ordered tasted great and were fairly priced. The DJ was really good and played pretty much all of the popular music that is out right now. There were a lot of people when we got there but it started to get a lot busier as the night progressed, definitely a late crowd. It was crowded but not the point of annoyance when people are stepping on your toes and spilling drinks on you. It was a great looking crowd too, nicely dressed. Most guys were in button ups and girls in dresses and heels. It is very easy for a club to be labeled«ghetto» in this town, but this place definitely is not. I would have to say what I was most impressed about the whole evening was the cleanliness of this establishment. It was like freakishly clean, especially the restrooms. Hate going anywhere and the restrooms are a nightmare. The bar didn’t stink either because a lot of the times bars tend to smell funky when they don’t keep them clean. By far the cleanest club I have EVER been to, and I’ve been to a lot of clubs in my day! Overall it was a very comfortable, enjoyable, and FUN experience. We stayed until they closed and had a BLAST! I honestly can’t say that there was anything that I didn’t like about this place. So glad I finally went and I will definitely be going back more often!

poor beer selection, no real whiskey selection either. When asking their promoters on Facebook about if they had in any pint glasses, or a selection of Irish Whiskey, I was called ignorant and blocked from their page. As for when I have actually been tot he «ultra-lounge“d itself, the Dj’s are okay, except that they are mostly laptop jocks. The furniture is a harsh white which is only accentuate by their need to blast everything with a black light as if it was some 1970’s stoner den. Their beer selection mostly has«light» in it’s name. 1 star because I can’t give a lower rating.
